Chp 15

Meher entered preet's room……………….. preet was very angry……………..

Meher – preet………………..

Preet (interrupted her) - what did u say downstairs? What was the need to say all this?

Meher- preet listen to me once…………

Preet – mausam, why are u, doing all this? Mausam, I can't take p.b's place, I am not capable & talented like all……………..

Meher – preet, I am not telling you to take premjiju's place. I am just telling you to fulfill the duties of premjiju, which he has left unfulfilled.

Preet – mausam how can I do that? I have never ever been to the office before? I don't know anything about the projects…. I can't do it.

Meher – please preet don't be so harsh on yourself.

(She cupped his face in her hands) - look in my eyes preet.

(Preet reluctantly did what meher said) - A person who can make everybody smile so effortlessly is very talented person. I trust u preet, & I want to give preet one chance to prove himself; & the person preet juneja whom, I know, will definitely take up this challenge & will emerge as a winner. Will u give preet one chance……………… for me? (She asked preet very innocently)

(Tears gathered in meher's eyes threatening to fall out. As tears went rolling down her cheeks,)

preet wiped them with his hand & said – only if you be my strength, I accept this challenge & will fulfill everyone expectations & p.b's dreams…………….

(meher had a smile on her face seeing her smile, preet also managed to smile a little & then preet hugged meher…………. )

Meher still in preet's arms………………………

Meher- so preet get ready we have to reach office by 9.00 & I don't want to be late on the very first day.

Preet – u don't want to be late?

Meher – preet on your very first day don't u need your strength to accompany you?

Preet- mausam, what will you do there? I mean…………..I will be busy & you will get bored.

Meher – preet don't you worry; I have plenty of work there.

Preet - & May I know what work u would do there. (preet asked teasing her)

Meher- I will fight with your nervousness, tensions, & see that you don't get depressed………. & I think I can manage this job very well, what's say? (Saying this she winked her eye)

Preet- sure, I think only u can do this job! (preet hugged her again)

Preet went to get ready & meher called someone & returned to preet's room.

What she saw was preet in black suit… with tie…………… hairs combed…….. He was dressed just like prem.

What she also saw was, preet feeling uncomfortable in those clothes & he trying hard to be prem & not being himself. But she thought, telling him that thing right now would not be correct, & anyways preet agreed to join the office & business was the big thing. So she behaved with him casually. When they were coming down stairs bauji saw them, they looked like prem & heer so perfect together……………………… he remembered the time when prem & heer went to the office for the first time together…………………………(his eyes got filled with tears)

As preet & meher reached at the office all the staff people were standing there to greet preet…… with flowers ……………..

Preet & meher headed to his cabin................. as preet entered in the cabin; he was shocked…………………

hi! here's the update i know it's little bit dragging but all these small parts are very important for unfolding the story further. hope u all enjoy it.

Chp 16

Cabin had blue & green curtains (preet's fav color)………… there was one bean bag (preet's fav place to sit on) in one corner………. There was guitar hanging on one of the walls (music, his passion which he had forgotten from long time)…………… & what surprised him the most was ……………..a soft toy of a lion in a sitting position kept on his chair….. He went near the table………… as he threw a glance on it smile broke at the corners…….. There was a photo frame which had a photo of meher in it……….

(Meher who was enjoying preet's changing expressions interrupted) – I know this (her photo frame) is the best thing in your cabin. But u can also appreciate all the other things………………….

Preet – when did u do all this? &………. &……………. What is this lion doing here? (preet took that lion in his hands)

Meher – (taking lion from preet's hands) well, this is my imagination of preet juneja……………….who is King of girl's heart till now. & from now will be the king of the corporate world.

Preet had no words…………he could only thank god for showering his meher in form of mausam in his life.

He thought mausam is god's meher for him.

Meher – well, actually I thought of making this room a little lively, & I think now, this room is some what similar to your room at home; except, this is little, more tidier.

Preet – & what is your photo doing on this table?

Meher – well, you know the person to whom this cabin belongs, almost very 10 seconds doubts his capabilities……….. Looses his confidence……….. & today morning only, he has entrusted me the job of being his strength, hence, I have kept this photo here, so whenever preet juneja is feeling low, he can still a glance from this photo & remember that even if the whole world is against him, there is one person who always trusts him & has faith in him.

Preet - well in that case, I will have to keep this photo in my wallet, close to my heart.

Then she gave him a welcome card………….. preet was overwhelmed & amazed by meher's welcome.

Harman entered preet's cabin…………..he was mesmerized, surprised & shocked………….

Harman saw meher's photo on preet's table & was shocked the most……..

Harman – preet…………..

Preet – Harmanbhaiya, this is all mausam's idea……… thanks' to her now, I am feeling little comfortable.

(Harman was from first attracted towards meher, but after he saw this he desperately wanted to know her more. he wondered how preet has such good luck with girls. He saw meher & managed to smile a little.)

Harman – we need to go to the conference room, all the board members are waiting to meet you.

Preet – yes bhaiya. He looked at meher.

Meher (nodded) u guys continue with work, by the time I will see the hotel.

Meher immediately asked the waitress to take her to the kitchen)

She inspected the kitchen………….. Cleanliness, quality of food, then she asked to meet the chief cook.

Meher – hello, may I know your name?

Cook – (he was very puzzled as no one had ever come to met him like that)mam, I am gurmeet.

Meher – good name! I am mausam! Well I have a very important work for you. & make sure that work is your top priority. (She said in an instructive tone).
