After lots of thinking she finally arrived at the conclusion that it was the pain, grief that has brought her emotionally close to preet. Even she had felt the same way when mausam had died & so was able to empathize with preet, & completely understsnd preet's state. In the darkness of night she promised to preet who was sleeping with his head in her lap that she would not let him break emotionally, & she will be his strength.

Next morning……………………. Preet woke up, meher wished him good morning, preet – I am sorry mausam because of me u couldn't rest at night….. I ……………

Meher – but I am not sorry for what I did……………….. get ready & come downstairs for breakfast.

Preet – can u do me a favor? Plz send a glass of juice to my room through a servant, I am not feeling like eating.

Meher went down & preet took a bath & just got read when meher returned back with a glass of juice.

Preet – why did u brought a glass of juice? You could have sent it through a servant?

Meher – I just thought, it feels good to be served by a family member rather then a servant.

(Preet tried to avoid looking into meher's eyes)

(meher went near preet, took his hand in her hand & said) – preet I believe that u r not responsible for premjiju's death, & I will wait for that day when even you will start believing in me. (Saying this she started leaving.)

Preet understood what she meant………… & somehow he couldn't bear the thought that mausam thinks that he doesn't trust her………. Of course he trusted her………… with this thought in his mind…………. He spoke almost immediately – mausam!

Meher turned to face preet.

Preet- I am feeling very hungry & I am coming down for the breakfast! (Saying this he started walking & they both went out of the room. While walking together preet said to meher) – don't u ever say, that I don't trust u. his tough & angry looks accompanied his sentence.

Meher couldn't help smiling. Suddenly when they were on the stairs preet saw all the family members sitting on the table his feet stopped, images of last morning flashed in his mind, he was loosing his confidence & courage.

(Meher realized this & she holds his hand & started walking. When they approached the table all were shocked to see preet, all had their breakfast & nobody dared to speak.)

Meher finally decided to break the silence.

Meher – well, I think preet you should join the company from today.

(Everybody was in the state of shock, & preet was horrified; meher ignored all those looks & continued further)

meher – I am sure it will be difficult for Harman to handle all the work alone.

& after all preet is also & educated & talented person he can definitely give his valuable inputs.

Preet looked at bauji who was fuming in anger, & unable to bear all that he stood up & went.

Meher – well, it's 8 now, Harman, can you please tell the manager to clean preet's office, and we will be in the office by 9.00am. (meher left & headed towards preet's room & she knew that biggest task was to convince preet to join the office)

Nobody spoke……….. maya didn't liked meher ordering Harman & she walked up & left. Harman followed her.

In maya's room…………………..

Maya – oh! So now that looser will join the office. A person who has never done anything in life besides playing ps games will now prepare project reports.

Harman was listening even he was apprehensive about preet joining office.

Bauji heard all that what maya said …………..

Bauji- maya, even preet is the son of this house; he too has the equal right on this business. So I think nobody should have any problems if he joins the business. (bauji looked at harman & maya both, when he said this & left.)

Maya couldn't understand bauji & was left more irritated.
