Hi everyone,
This is my first try at writing a FF. i love Prem and heer so thought of creating my own story with them. I might not be as good as others but will try to improve if you all post your views and comments on my writing. Hope you all enjoy the first chapter. Please do let me know if you life it so that i can continue with other chapters.

The Promise of Our Love
Facing the sea stood the Mann bungalow. Lightning was flashing in the dark sky and there she stood gazing at the moon in the sky. She loved to stand near the windows and gaze at the moon for hours. She with her long mane of black hair, which complimented her shiny black eyes and a beauty filled with innocence was 'Heer Mann', the eldest daughter of Balraj and Teji Mann. Heer was still engrossed in her thoughts when a voice reached her ears.
"Kaun hain jo is dil ko dastak de raha hain
Kaun hain jiski aahat sunai de rahi hain
Kab saamne aayega who chehra jo palkon par bithayega…………….".
The voice was of Ashlesha – heer's cousin sister who lived with them as her parents had died when she was an infant.
"Oh ho heer di, ur so romantic. So ur waiting for the special someone. So sweet".
"Ashlesha, tumhe pata hai na ki mujhe accha nahi lagta agar koi meri dairy padhe to". "oh come on heerdi, main hi to hoon aur vaise bhi, aap, meher aur mujhme koi baat hai jo humne ek dusrese chupayi hain" "hmmm, isiliye to main dairy likhti hoon taki kuch pal sirf mere ho"
"oh who sab chodo, main aapko bahar leke jane ke liye aayi thi" "bahar abhi, ashlesha itni raat ko"." Heerdi abhi to sirf 7 baje hain aur who jo mela laga hain na mujhe jana hain khaas aapke liye kyunki waha ek fortuneteller hain jo suna hain future batati hain. So dekhe to aapka someone special kab aane wala hai"
"oh ho ashlesha tum bhi na hadh karti hoon"
So heer and ashlesha leave to go the fair. They enter a tent which is very weirdly decorated. It seems so out of the world. And then they hear a voice "Main jugni, jag ka haal sunaye, pyaar ke rang dikhlaye". Heer a bit scared, Ashlesha makes her sit in front of jugni and asks jugni "ji aap batayenge kuch meri behen ke bare main".
"Aayega who, jiska tum intezar kar rahi hoon. Woh jiska pyaar tumhe pura karega. Yaad rakhna lekin is pyaar main tumhe imtehaan bhi dene padenge. Lekin who pyaar sirf tumhara hoga. Who pyaar jiska naam Prem hoga".
Heer was shocked. She did not know what to say, whether to believe it or not. On the way home heer was engrossed in her thoughts oblivious to the chattering of Aslesha. Does magic exists. Should I believe in Jugni and her magic. She did not know but she knew one thing that she yearned for the true and abiding love. She believed that there was nothing greater than the gift of an open and accepting heart. And she wanted to believe in Jugni's words which had given her the name of her love –Prem.
"Prem---" A man utters the word looking at a photo. He is lalit Juneja – the owner of Juneja empire. He had migrated to US from India 20 years ago and worked hard to be where he was today a much-respected man in the business circle. And now he was semi-retired as his eldest son "Prem Juneja" one of the most eligible bachelor was now handling the business. "Aap kya soch rahe hon" says his wife Gayatri Juneja. "kuch nahi, bas prem ke bare main. Mera ram. Woh kaam main itna mashroof rehta hain ki khud ki zindagi jee hi nahi raha, Harman aur preet mere doosre do bte dekho life enjoy bhi kar rahe hain". Gayatri says "Aap chinta mat kijiye. Prem apne dono betose alag hain. Use party karna vagere pasand nahi hain, use to who waqt apni kavitaon main dubna pasand hain.
In another room, a guy is getting ready. Just then someone enters the room and picks a piece of paper kept on the table and starts reading the contents loudly.
" Kaise muskuraye chaand us chandni bhari raat main,
kaise dhadke lehren us kinare se
kaise mehsoos karu duniya ke kisi bhi ehsaas ko
jab tak tum na milo mujhe !!
"wah wah wah,,kya kavita hai PB" . Says Preet the naughty younger brother of Prem. The guy a handsome man with brown almond eyes turns around and comes to where preet is standing. " Preet tum kabhi nai sudhroge, maine kitni bar kahan hai ki meri kavita jab tak main na kahu nahi padhna." "oh ho PB, arey main to apka critic ban raha tha. Dekh raha tha kavita kaisi hain. Btw aapko abhi tak who mili nahi. Aapki thodi help kardu. haha". "Ab jate ho ke bauji ko bulao" "no no , dekho main to chala. Love u PB". "hmm abhi tak nahi mili lekin mujhe pata hain mere liye koi na koi to bani hain, bas uske milne ka intezar hain" says Prem to himself.
