Part II ( Prem's POV) Preet and I was Wondering here and there from shop to shop. I asked him what is he looking for but he didn't answer me. But whatever it was i am thankful to him because it diverted my mind from Heer's thot and passed my time quickly. It was almost 9. Oh shoot 9 pm .. Mom and dad may hab already arrived.
"Preet chal ghar chaltey hain.. nau bajgaaye ..Maa bauji aagaye honge." I said in a rush.
"Kyaa Bhaiyaa aao bhi! Kuch kharidne hi nahi dete!" He wined.
"Kharid ne nahi deta.. Matlab... Pichle 3 ghantey se idhar se udhar kar raha hai ..kuch kharida kyun nahi?? Chal phir kabi aayenge.. abhi chal," I said to him.
" Thik hai bhai chalo," He agreed.
On the way homw, preet drived the car, I was bored listening to whatever preet was saying. So. I turned the radio on. where "yaad aarahi hain" from the move LOVE STORY was playing. When I heard this song my eyes closed itself and started thinking about Heer.
I don't know when I was asleep and the next thing I remember was preet waking me up and saying, " Bhaiyaa Utho. kyaa ajj car mein hi shone kaa iradha hai?" Kyaa Bhaiyaa aap bhi . chalo andhar," he added.
We went inside and saw Maa, Bauji were already home.
" Kaha Gaye the tum dono," Bauji asked.
"Woh hum bahar gaye the. ghar bethe bethe bore ho rahe the toh issiliye," Preet replied
"Achcha koi baat nahi.. jaao aaram karo.. kal subha jaldo uthna hai," Maa said.
I was about to leave when mom said," Prem tuh ruk beta .. tujhse koi baat karni hain.. Preet tuh Jaa."
I stopped and moved towards her and said," Ji! Maa kahiye."
"Prem mujhe pata hain tuh yehi soch raha hain na.. tu uss ladki se saadi karle jisko tune dekha nahi ... janta nahi.. Pehechanta nahi. Hum isi liye kal waha jaa rahe hain.. tuh Heer jo jaanle .. parakh le .. uske baad hi hum baat ko aage badayenge. Thik hai beta," Mom explained to me.
" Thik hai Maa," I replied and was soo happy i have soo understanding parents..
"achcha jaake aaram karo," Mom said
I went from there and thot (How could I say to my mom that i m ready for the marriage after i heard heer's voice... after i heard her voice i figured out she was cute and could be by lifepartner.. How can i???? nah!! Mom is right I have to know her well and tomorrow is the day) after that an unecpected smile appeared on my face.
It was already late and i was sooo freaking tired due to Preet.. so I just switch off the light and went to sleep.
Morning
I Woke up at 6 becasue i was soo eager to meet Heer. I couldn't sleep properly at night.
I took shower and checked my emails.. I wrote my scretary back in Canada to cancel all my meetings because I won't be tehre for a While. Then i heard my Mom doing Morning Pooja since i already took shower i went down too join her. When I came down I saw Bauji was there as well.. Since childhood i have sen bauji and maa always together on everything. They are never alone.. they are the cutest Jodi ever...
"Arrey!! Prem aaja beta aarti leh" bauji said . then i realised i was dreaming about them .. i mean i was thinking about how they are always together and never ever disagree with eachother in anything. I went down to take aarti, than suddenly Bauji said," Jaa Beta!! jaldi se tayaar hoja... Uss nalayak preet ko bhi uthade.. kitne der tak soyegaa."
"nahi Bauji aaj aap ko galat sabit kardiya meine... Mein toh ready hoon.. late toh aaj Humaarey prem bhaiyaa hai," Preet said.
I was wondering how come Preet woke up soo early today when suddenly i heard 2 voices from back saying ,"Aur hum bhi ready hain," It was harman and Veera.. both of them hugged meh.. and Veera said, " Missed you Bhaiyaa,"
"Missed you too, Veera," I said
"Jao bahiyaa jaldi ready hojaayo," Preet said.
"aap Log jaayi yeh, Mein doosri gaadi mein aajaungaa.. Mujhe kuch kaam hai.. Mein khatam karne aajaungaa," I said
"Lekin Prem aaj bhi?" Mom complained.
"Maa Mein Jaldi aajaaungaa," I assured her.
She Touched my head and smiled which said everything . They all left i was left behind and thts what i wanted. Why didn't I go with them?? Because I remembered heer saying yesterday " main Mandir jaa rahi hoon," So i thot she'll goes there everyday.. which cannot be far form her home... as i know where they live . I know i havn't seen her face but i have faith i'll Meet her there. Thats why i didn't go with my parents,, So. then i got ready and left for the mandir..
In Mandir (nearest to balraj uncle's home)
Its Monday , there was a huge line. I stood behind 3 girls who were prolly talking baout their freind who is late today.
One of then said," Ajj kaise late hogayi... woh toh hamesha hum se aagaye aati thi,"
Then the second one said," Ghar mein kaam padgayaa hoga yaar,"
"Woh!1 aagayi," the third one said
I turned back to see who was that girl, then i saw a girl wearing yellow and red slawarwaving towards me. then i realised she was those girls' friends when i saw them waving at her aswell. then the girl came running up towards them and said," thank God!! you guys are here, otherwise I had to stay 1 hour in the line."
Then one of her freinds asked her," Par aaj kaise late hogayi tuh? hamesha toh hunse pehele aajati thi?"
Then the girl replied," Woh!! kyaa hain nah1 Mere Bauji k dost Mr.Lalit Junejaa Canada se wapas aane waale hai aaj hi.. ghar mein kitna kaam hai saara chod k aai hoon.. Subha 5 baje kaa alram lagatha lekin raat ko Meher ne change karke 8 baje ka laga diye.. issiliye uthne mein deri hogayi....Aur pata hain woh log kyun aarahe hain,"
She told them everything to her friends what my bauji said to me. Her friends asked her whether shw was excited to meet her soon-to-be-husband. the girl blushed and they started teasing her. Then i suddenly realised she was talking about me.. my father mr. lalit juneja... she was heer.. My heer... I kept staring at her... she looked as beautiful as i thot she would be... as sweet as her voice..I thought I would talk to her but it was her turn for the arrti.. She took the aarti and prasad too with her freinds. then her friends said her," We'll not leave yuh soo easily, you'll have to say us everything later,"
Heer smiled.
Then i purposely bumped into her which unfortunately dropped the thali and messed up her dress..
"What!!!! can't you see?" she yelled at me.
"you should be looking be while walking i think you know that!" I replied.
"What Do you mean?" she asked back.
"You know what I mean i don't think you are that dumb,are you?" i said her.
"excuse me!!!! oh. so you bumped to me just to make me understand how should i be walking?" she yelled again.
Then i understood she was a short tempered.
"Oh! you are smart," I said to her.
"What<" she asked
"nothing" I replied.. Now excuse me i need to leave," and left from there whoich i didn't want to do .. i wanted to say her that I m Prem juneja.. That Prem Junejaa she was waiting for... From now I m sure she is Happy with this marriage too so was I.
I turned back to her but she was already gone.. no wait i see her running *smiled* and i thot.." No matter what Heer I'll reach Before you,"
Then I reached Maan House. Maa bauji Preet Harman and veera were already there. I went inside and Teji aunty guided me to sit while Balraaj Uncle offered me sweets.
"kaise ho prem beta?" Teji aunty asked.
"Ji! Main Thik hoon!. I replied back..
"Itna chota that jab dekha tha.. aab deko kitna bada hogaayaa hai.. bada business man bhi ban gayaa hai," balraj uncle added.
"Heer aai nahi aab tak," MOm asked
"woh! aati hogi.. Waise aaj Monday hai mandir main Bheed hogi.. Teji aunty said..
Then I remembered heer running , then automatically a smile came to my face.. Maa asked me what happened. then i told her everything about my encxounter with Heer in the mandir.. how we fought everything.
"toh! tumhe Heer kaise lagi Prem??" Bauji asked me
"achchi hain," I said nervously
"Toh?" he asked back
"toh! Mein ready hoon," I said
Everyone was happy that i agreed for the marriage. Now it was only Heer decision they were waiting for and i know what her answer was... so i told them about her conversation with her friends.. they were happy that heer was also ready so they talked about fixing our engagement date.
Then heer entered.
heer entered.. she sees prem .. yuh know that.. from Heer's POV... but from Prem's POV.. what happens keeping tuning ehehe
