So Preet is not Prem. *sigh* Oh well, he seems pretty awesome anyways. 😆 He kinda reminds me of Milind from Kayamath. All uncaring about the world, only into his work. His work is his world. Methinks if he had a sister, or a sibling, it'd be family and work, but because he doesn't, then it's just work. 😆 And he has Daddy issues. What is it with hot men and daddy issues? 😆 Though, this makes for an interesting twist. (I saw this coming. 😛 kinda. 😆)
Balraj Mann is the most disgusting man on the planet! He sickens me. Money is everything for him, family means nothing? At all? He's ashamed of his widowed daughter? Ashamed despite the fact that his sons, and he! were the reason for her becoming a widow in the first place? He sickens me. He doesn't deserve such a wonderful daughter like Heer, or a wife like Teji, or a sweetheart baby girl like Veera. His sons, at least, have some decency in trying to stop him. Preet's assessment of Balraj is completely correct. He'd sell anything and everything for money. His self-respect, his soul, his daughter. Disgusting.
I actually liked the brothers in this bit. They're going to try and save Heer I hope. Somehow, someway, they're going to do everything they possibly can to save her. Or I'm hoping for this anyways. Knowing them, they'll try talking to Balraj, and when he doesn't agree (which he won't) they shall sit on their hands and cry. Idiots.
Veera is such a sweetheart! She had such a darling relationship with her Jiju, she must have been as hurt when Prem died as Heer, though, obviously for a different reason. Veera lost her best friend, her brother, her confidante and her co-conspiritor, Heer lost her best friend, her lover, her soul-mate and her husband. But this bond, this just connects the two sisters even more. I love the way you've portrayed them.
Heer knows, thank God Heer knows! And she's skeptical about her brothers. I hope they do something to try and help her. It cannot change what they did, but at least they should try and redeem themselves, rather than just feeling 'guilty' and apologising.
Continue soon!
