I am married with 2 little girls. I am probably quite old for this forum but I love KDMHMD and premeer. for my husband everything revolves around his daughters. He even refuses to take calls from his parents when he is playing with them. And i know how attached he is to his parents. So I am saying this from personal experience, that for a father kids are more important than parents and sometimes even his wife.

And to this point above, I agree and disagree simultaneously. Yes this is your experience, usually children mean a lot to fathers, but you need to understand the character of Prem. This is a show, not real life, Prem is not an ordinary character, when he loves, he loves in abundance! Watching past episodes we all know by now how much Prem loves his mother, he had even told Heer to leave the house on the saying of Gayatri, so it is obvious that his mother's love is all encompassing for him. So saying that he won't be as devastated learning the truth compared to being away from Heer and Chahat is wrong! Your husband may be like that, but this is Prem we are talking about, he sees his mother as his God for whom he will do anything. We need to look at the context, Prem does not know that his ideal mother is the reason for him being seperated from his love and child, so if he found out, it would indeed be devastating for him! Afterall, remember how hurt Prem was when Gayatri said that she didn't give birth to Kulraj, and that Prem seems like an outsider- I still remember the way he had said 'Chubh Ta Hai' So imagine how much it would hurt seeing the evil form of his mother.I don't think Heer is wrong at all if she is trying to protect Prem in this way! xx
