Forgive me if the characters appear slightly non-canon. I haven't watched these shows, so all my info is derived from the internet and you tube. What Dreams Are Made Of"I have a secret," said Nonee solemnly, and everyone looked at her and rolled their eyes.
"Well, actually, it's a secret both Maddy and I share but she has told me that I can go ahead and tell you."
"What is it now?" asked Bhav, raising an eyebrow.
"Does it involve us doing any physical labour?" asked Aradhna, stretching lazily.
"Does it involve annoying anyone?" asked Shabo and Preet together, sitting up, identical grins on their faces.
"Hush, and let her speak, you lot," said Meera, rolling her eyes at them.
They were all lolling about in the lawn, in the shade of the huge cherry tree, enjoying the bright summer afternoon.
Prem opened an eye and looked around but offered no comment. He was lying, his head in Meera's lap and she was stroking his hair. He sighed contentedly, and closed his eye again.
Nonee suddenly looked sulky. "I have a good mind not to say anything."
['Then don't' whispered Preet, winking at Shabo, who grinned at him.]
Nonee glared at him.
"Ignore him, Nonee," said Meera, leaning over to pull Preet's ear ["Ow! Meera Bhabhi" he yelled]
"Okay," said Nonee, her eyes starting to glitter again, "You are not going to believe this at all!"
"Are you planning to tell us anytime soon or do we have to play 'A hundred and one questions! Guess Nonee's secret!' Mayank raised his head from the book he was reading.
Everyone laughed.
"Very funny Mayank!" said Nonee, glaring at him as well, "Well, as you know, Maddy had an exam to write. And Manav had an errand to run. So, he's gonna pick Maddy up after her exam and they'll be back in a while……."
Suddenly there was a flash of blinding light and they all sat up, alarmed.
"What's happening!" asked Meera alarmed. Then a very strange thing happened. A thick cloud of cold mist enveloped them, [Someone screamed!] lights still flashing in and out.
"Meera, are you alright?" asked Prem, sounding worried. "I can't see a thing," said Shabo, not sounding like her usual self. "Nor can I," yelped Nonee, trying to reach out and touch Aradhna, who had been sitting next to her. "Bhav, are you alright?" called out Aradhna. ['I think so,' came a muffled reply]
Then, as suddenly as the strange sequence of events had started, so did it end. One moment, they were enveloped by a strange blinding mist, the next, they were just standing around each other, staring from one to the other, their eyes wide, the sun, once again, shining brightly down upon them, wondering what on earth had just happened.
Aradhna bent down to pick up a book that was lying on the ground, shaking her head. Mayank, letting a book fall to the ground! That showed he was really rattled. She smiled and turned to give it to Mayank……and blinked, confused. Where was Mayank?
"Where's Mayank?" she asked suddenly, swirling around to look back towards the homestead. But there was no Mayank making his way back to the house. "Mayank!" she shouted, turning back to look at the others, "Mayank!"
There was absolutely no one there…..Just an eerie stillness.
"Mayank!" she shouted, "Bhav!" "Meera!" "Shabzie!" She looked around, feeling a wariness creep into her bones.
"If this is a joke, it's a really bad one. I shan't forgive you, any of you," she called out, startled to find her voice trembling slightly. "Come out Right Now!"
She then looked around her and suddenly, her heart started pounding in her ears and she could feel the colour leaching from her face, her hands and feet getting really really cold.
Everything was so, so different. This was not the garden she had been sitting in with her friends, just moments ago. This was no garden at all. How could that be? Was she dreaming? This was no dream. Nightmare, more like!
She looked around, trying to keep the panic from engulfing her. But, Oh! God! What was she going to do?
It looked like a really huge open space with absolutely no signs of either life or vegetation. And the sky was a blend of mixed shades. The shades it took on just after sunset, just before darkness set in…Twilight!
And it looked like she was standing….alone….in the middle of this desolate place…just a book in her hand.
She looked with relief at the book. At least she had Mayank's book with her. Strange books Mayank read sometimes, she thought fondly. Well, the boy could swallow an entire Library, given the chance, she shook her head ruefully.
It was a much used (by the striations on the leather cover) leather bound book, its edges slightly discoloured, a piece of something that looked like twine, rolled around it's middle. This seems like an ancient scroll book, she thought suddenly, like something out of say, Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. Something out of the Restricted Section, at that!
She turned the Book over to look at the title and froze. This could not be happening. This could so not be happening.

so brightShe looked at it again and with trembling fingers opened the hardbound cover. She was looking at thick, faintly yellowed parchment leaves…..with journal entries. Journal Entries that seemed totally and utterly unbelievable!
This could so not be happening. She pinched herself. Everything was still the same, the desolate surroundings, the sheet of mist and the Book…..the Book in her hands. How on earth had this book come into….
"That Book contains very confidential information," a new voice broke into her consciousness and she jumped, turning around, trying to find the speaker, the curt, arrogant and husky voice sounding very very familiar. "And it's mine. Hand it over."
She turned and looked up into the most beautiful light green eyes surrounded by thick burnished lashes. Oh! Yes! She was definitely dreaming, she thought, as her eyes moved dreamily over the arrogant nose, the perfectly sculpted mouth and the cleft in the chin, before coming back to his glorious eyes.
The perfectly sculpted mouth was saying something but she couldn't really hear anything. She was looking at the silver amulet hanging around his neck on a cloth band and the way his muscles stretched the material of his raven black tee-shirt tautly across his shoulders.

She blinked at the harsh tone in his voice and looked up frowning. Drop dead good looking or not, he could do with some etiquette training, she decided. Before she could say anything, however, a new voice entered the fray, a soft, soothing voice that had her swiftly turning around again.
"Now! Now! Dean! Is that any way to speak with such a beautiful maiden. That too, one who has the immense power to help you."
The speaker was a tall, slightly built boy, a traveling cloak around his shoulders and Aradhna's mouth fell open as she stared at the newcomer.
His light gray eyes crinkled as he smiled at her, an exquisite face, almost elfin, his dark hair falling over his forehead. Aradhna just stared back, unable to believe her eyes.
Dean Winchester stared broodingly at Aradhna, who was still trying to come to terms with everything that was happening around her, "Can she really help us?" he asked the newcomer curtly, "And is everything.."
"Sam's alright. Gwen and Morgana are looking after him. Gaius is preparing a poultice to soothe the wound in his shoulder. But in order to revive him, we need her help. Will you help us please, Lady A? Allow me to introduce myself. I…"
"I know who you are," Aradhna recovered her voice and the elfin boy smiled, "you can call me Aradhna." He asked, "So, will you help us?"
Aradhna stared back, "You mean, this is not a dream! How can it be that you are both together here?" she asked slowly and frowned again as she heard Dean swear, not so lightly.
"Some things, Lady A, I mean, Aradhna, cannot be explained in such a little time as we have right now," said Merlin, his smile distracting Aradhna from what he was saying.
"Forgive us for transporting you here like this but we really really need your help. Sam, Dean's brother," Aradhna nodded unconsciously, "was stunned by a Valkyure, which is basically a Valkyrie that has crossed over, so to say.
Aradhna continued to stare at them, one part of her still certain this could not be happening. And what was all this rubbish these two were spouting.
"This Valkyure is a very dangerous creature. She has the traits of a Vampire and a Witch. This one is called Isulte. Still with me?" Merlin paused and looked at her, his light grey eyes seeming greenish now.
Aradhna nodded, not trusting her voice.
"So, in their hunt to capture and destroy Isulte, Sam was grievously injured. Morgana, just a night before, saw this happening and we tried to warn Sam and Dean but we were too late. And Morgana also saw you."
"Me," said Aradhna, her voice uneven, "Morgana saw me!"
"Yes! She saw you saving Sam. And so, you are our only hope! You were born on the seventh day of Samhuinn. There's no other living soul who has been born on that day. It's an extremely special day. You, Aradhna, are a natural exorcist of evil spirits. And only you can help us revive Sam. Only You."
"But, but," said Aradhna, trying to clutch on to some reason in all of this, "But, Merlin, for heaven's sake, can't you…I mean, you have been born with magic. I, I, don't have any powers, any…."
"I knew she wouldn't do it," said Dean, pacing around them, "let's go back to Camelot. We have such little time left. If she won't help, then…."
Merlin ignored him and placed a comforting hand on Aradhna's shoulder. "Yes, I have magic powers but it is not in my destiny to save Sam. That, my dear, is part of your destiny. Which is why, you must fulfill it. And believe me, you have the powers."
"Then, I will help," Aradhna said quietly, her chin up, unconscious of Dean turning around and staring at her, his eyes hooded.
"Put your hands in mine," Merlin held his hands out to both of them, "and hold tight."
"Can't I just take my car?" asked Dean quickly. "I'll be more comfortable."
Merlin sighed! "This is quicker, remember."
Aradhna rolled her eyes, "We have such little time left," she told Dean, mirroring his words of some time back and this time, she caught a little hint of a grin on his perfectly sculpted lips. 'Get a hold Aradhna,' she told herself firmly.

This is what dreams are made ofMerlin murmured something and Aradhna watched fascinated as his eyes shone bright, grey to green to grey again. Before she could blink however, there was an amazing world in front of her. "Camelot!" she murmured, dazed.
"Yes, that's Camelot," Merlin smiled at her, looking at the huge ivory and gray turrets of the castle rising imposingly into the evening sky. "It is so beautiful," she whispered.
"Not as beautiful as you, My lady," She turned to see Prince Arthur in all his royal splendour, smiling at her as he walked towards them.
"My Lord," Aradhna said, holding her hand out, recollecting that a prince royal was walking towards her. "I mean, 'Your Highness' or should it be…"
"Not at all. Just Arthur," he caught her hand and brought it to his lips. Aradhna couldn't help smiling at the snort issuing from her other side. 'Bloody Prat!' she heard Dean mutter under his breath.
"As we aren't going to a Ball," Dean drawled, "Can we go to Sam please?"
Arthur frowned at him but led the way.
"Well, we can't go inside Camelot right now as King Utha is there and you know how he feels about magic," said Merlin and Aradhna nodded.
"So, this is a little hunting lodge just a few minutes away," he told her.
As they neared the hunting lodge, Morgana came running out, "Oh! Come quick. He's getting worse." She turned a brilliant smile at Aradhna, holding out her hands, "Oh! Thank you for coming. Thank you."
Sam was lying on a cot, beads of sweat all over his face, his limbs shivering. Gwen was pressing a poultice onto his shoulder and Gaius was pouring some drops into his mouth. They turned around as Aradhna came in, nodding at her.
"He has very little time left," Gaius said softly, looking at Aradhna.
"What should I do?" she asked anxiously, looking at each of them in turn. Gwen gave her an encouraging smile.
Gaius walked upto Aradhna and whispered something in her ear. She felt a blush creep up her face listening to him.
"Please save my brother Aradhna," Dean caught her hand and pressed it, his eyes searching hers.
She looked at the worry blazing from his eyes and nodded, moving towards Sam.
As instructed by Gaius, she took Merlin's hand in one of hers. Then she knelt next to Sam and lay her cheek next to his for a moment as Merlin murmured an incantation.
She felt a strange power emanating from her and passing into Sam. She then placed her other palm on Sam's forehead, while Merlin murmured another incantation. A cool breeze seemed to be floating over Sam, wiping away the sweat from his face.
An unholy screeching wail suddenly broke into the silence, startling them. Aradhna's hands moved instantly to her ears to keep out the terrible sound, and as she watched, a strange cloud floated away, shrieking and wailing and continuing to make all sorts of horrible noises.
"Is that Isulte?" asked Aradhna, [Gaius nodded.]"I mean, is she dead or…"
"It's difficult to kill her," said Gaius. "That requires a very complicated form of old magic, one which would require a lot of preparation. However, the form she has been released in, it shows that she is very very weak. She won't be back again to bother anyone for a long long time, that's for sure."
Aradhna nodded, a little awed by the Court physician and his grave voice.
"Sammy!" Aradhna turned back to see Dean flinging an arm around his brother, "You scared the shit outa me."
She smiled at the others as they walked outside to give the brothers some time together.
As she stood outside, smiling and speaking with Merlin, Arthur, Gwen and Morgana, she felt, rather than heard footsteps come up behind her.
"It's really late," she told them, "I really need to get a move on. How will I get back home? My friends will be missing me."
"Aradhna," Dean was smiling his crooked smile (Aradhna's heart gave a big leap) "there's no way I can thank you. You have given me the biggest gift ever. I will be in your debt until the day I die."
"Oh! No!," she stuttered, "I mean, Sam's alright. And that's all that matters. My pleasure, Dean"
Suddenly he reached out his hand and the next thing she knew was that she was in his arms, being held tight. "Thanks Aradhna," he whispered and she felt her knees go weak.

dreams are made ofSam was next. He still looked slightly weak but his grin lit up his face. "I owe you my life Aradhna. Thank you is such a small word." He then pulled her into a hug and Aradhna smiled back serenely, feeling an insane urge to giggle.
Then Merlin came up to her and hugged her, "Aradhna, without you, we could not have achieved this. Thank you very much."
Gwen, Morgana and Gaius hugged her and thanked her.
Arthur hugged her and told her that she was welcome to come and stay at Camelot anytime she liked. She grinned.
"Aradhna, can I have just a moment," murmured Dean quietly and she nodded.
She watched as he unfastened the amulet band from his neck, struck dumb again, as he lifted her hair aside and leaned in to fasten the band around her neck. She felt her eyes close, her breathe seize and all her senses come to a sudden stop. She was in heaven. Or…
"Owwwww!, that hurts, Dean," she yelped sharply, feeling a sharp pain against her neck.
"Dean! Who's Dean?" a naughty voice, very familiar penetrated her consciousness and her eyes flew open, blinking rapidly against the sudden sunlight.
"Where's Dean?" she asked suddenly, "and Sam…and Mer…." Her voice broke off as she saw the familiar faces of her friends peering back at her. Realisation suddenly broke in and she closed her eyes shut. Oh! No!
Shabo was peering at her, a sharp twig in her hand, an expression of sudden glee on her face.
"Who's Dean?" Mayank leaned across to look into her eyes, a shadow in his eyes. "And who's Sam?"
Bhav giggled and Shabo followed. A look of understanding flitted over Meera's and Nonee's faces and they both started laughing.
Aradhna opened her eyes and glared at them but to no avail.
Shabo was rolling on the ground laughing. And Nonee was following her example. Bhav was doubled over laughing and Meera was sitting with her arm around Aradhna, trying desperately not to laugh.
Preet rolled his eyes at Prem and Jacob. "Girls!" he said, raising his eyebrows skywards. Prem nodded, smiling. "Anyone up for a game of Tennis," asked Jacob and Preet walked away with him.
"What's wrong with A?" asked Mayank, still looking like he'd been hit by a bus. Or something worse.
"She's been watching too much 'Supernatural' is what's wrong with A," Shabo told him, winking wickedly, dissolving into laughter again.
Maddy and Manav walked into the clearing, smiles on both their faces.
"What's happening guys?" asked Maddy, trying to stop bursting into laughter herself. Shabo's laughter was so infectious.
Meera told her and Maddy burst into peals of laughter.
"How was your exam Maddy?" suddenly asked Bhav. The others sat up.
"Oh! Wonderful! Am glad it's all over. Time to party huh! So, are you guys all ready for the Ball tonight?"
"Yay! Party time!" yelled Shabo. "It's time for glitter and shine!"
"Yes, come let's go in," Nonee danced around them.
"Oh! But it was such a wonderful dream," sighed Aradhna.
She linked hands with Bhav as they all walked into the house, failing to see Nonee and Maddy whispering something frantically into each other's ear and grinning ear to ear like twin Cheshire cats.
…….
Sometime later….
Maddy and Nonee walked upto Aradhna who was on the dance floor with Mayank. They looked at each other and smiled looking at the way Aradhna and Mayank were gazing into each other's eyes.
And the song was one Aradhna loved, no wonder Mayank had made a dedication for her. How sweet was that!

On a balcony in summer airAradhna was looking resplendent in an aquamarine shift, grecian style, with crystals shimmering all around the hem of her gown. Her hair was piled up on her head for the occasion, one curl artistically arranged to fall across her shoulder.

And say hello, little did I knowAradhna caught sight of them and waved. Maddy winked at Nonee as they looked at Mayank who appeared unable to take his eyes off Aradhna.

It's a love story baby just say yes"Ummmm, Aradhna," murmured Maddy, "can we have a moment." Mayank looked like he wanted to object but Aradhna walked with them, a questioning look on her face. Nonee was busy peering outside the window.
The doorbell rang.
"Aradhna, be a sweetheart and answer that please. Some of Arjun Bhaiyya's friends were supposed to be coming real late and I just remembered I have to help Mom with something," said Maddy, hurrying away.
"Yes! Aradhna, please go and open the door," said Nonee in a whiny voice, "my knees are feeling all wobbly and I…"
"You're just lazy Nonee, but never mind, I'll open the door," Aradhna shook her head at her as she walked down to open the door. Strange that no one else had gotten to the door, she thought, as the doorbell rang a second time.
She pulled open the door and froze, struck by a vague sensation of deja vu.
Dean and Sam Winchester stood out there, flowers in their arms, formally dressed (to kill!) smiles on both their faces as they looked at Aradhna.
