Two people who live in different countries and miles apart. One who has spent her entire life waiting for her Prem to come and fulfill the promise that both their fathers' made. The other who waited all his life for that one person who would be his soulmate. But who willingly gives up his dreams so that his dad's promise is fulfilled.

Prem was a dutiful son and an ideal brother till he met Heer. After he met and fell in love with her he became the perfect lover. A lover who would go to any lengths to save his love. Who even goes against his ideal, his father, so that he can save his love from doom. A lover who knowing very well that the girl he loves is to be married to someone else looks after her well being. A lover who doesn't want to know whether the girl loves him or not because he knows she does and she doesn't need to say it. A lover who knows Heer is his soulmate. A lover who wants to give his love everything that life has to offer.

Heer: A docile small town girl who has been told all her life that she belongs to Prem who will come one day and take her to a new world. A girl who faces a lot of harships in life with grit and determination. Who inspite of facing difficulties fights with the world so that she can lead a dignified life. A girl, who waited for Prem all her life, but willingly stays away from him. A girl who risks her reputation so that he doesn't end up in jail. A girl who goes to any lengths to make sure Prem is happy. A girl who goes through hell so that his last wishes are fulfilled. A girl who almost sacrifies her life to save his family. A girl whose life only revolves around Prem and his family.

Prem and Heer: Two bodies one soul. They were made for each other. Even though Heer was aware of Prem's existence he never knew of her. But he could always feel her pain. They have a strong bond. A bond which makes them each other's soulmate. Unlike ordinary couple these two feel each other even while being miles apart. They are a couple who don't need words to communicate. Who understand every nuances of the other person. They are so much in sync with each other that they don't even need to spell it out. A couple who weathered all storms including the biggest - Death! A couple who grew stronger by the day. Prem and Heer are one in spirit and in soul. This is the essence of the story.

This is what we think of the main characters and their love story. However, since Dec the story has been slowly loosing its essence. please retain it. Please bring it back on track. No ego, no third person, no misunderstanding can ever break this couple. So please don't even bother trying it. The show will not only loose its plot but also the viewers.
