That makes sense...She is just trying to blindfold herself from the bigger truth....And its more important for her to be with him till the last minute...Poor thing...I so understand her pain..And I understand Prem's pain too...He doesn't want to leave her alone and without any family after he would be gone....
I think her not being able to think anything beyond Prem's leaving her including taking him to another doctor explains it all, Lana...That idea of taking him to another doctor comes only when she doesn't trust his intelligence no? And we know how blindly she believes and has faith in him...
BTW..Heer looked soooooooo pretty today...and in that scene when Prem hugs her from behind...where her neck gets exposed...I think AG has got one of the best necks I have seen offlate...haha...yep..I am a keen observer of people's necks...ROFL

^^ Although his cheerfulness was slightly eerie, it was clearly put on. I noticed it not once, but twice, that he would say something to Heer, and then gulp. I don't know whether it was intentional (on the part of HC), but as an audience, it looked like he was trying to stop his tears. His joking around and fake cheerfulness made the situation even more hopelessly tragic.
Also, I thought there were aspects of GS in that, as hiding behind the mask of Gaurav has become his defence mechanism now. If he was Prem, seeing Heer cry like that, and thinking about his own death, if he allowed himself to become even a little sad, he would have completely broken down. He could not afford that, at the moment.I think his aloofness, or disconnect, with the situation is the only way he will stop himself from going insane. Heer has the option of shedding tears. If Prem were to do that, he'd probably be crying for months, because I doubt he could express much of his pain when he lived with G's mom. Then, he came back to his OWN family, and he had to continue his charade. A normal person would have lost it (well, they would also have gotten a second opinion, but whatever). I think like he said earlier, he's had so much pain, that he's 'become numb to the feeling of pain'.
