sometimes even in the show i wanted to make prem and heer sit down and talk, make them do that, but i can understand what prem must be thinking, i would hate to get excited about something that for oone is uncertain and secondly could be the cause for pain by taking another that he does love, but thats a very nice conversation i am looking forward to and i also want meher to ask prem about his change in attitude, she should be looking out for her sister

On to the update, it was great!! Love how everyone is all so close-knit, it is just so sweet to read. I love how they are all taking care of Heer, trying to make her at ease- they have no clue about the emotional turmoil that she is going through. Although I understand why Prem is behaving the way he is, he is unknowingly giving Heer stress at a time when she does not need it!! I hope he slowly begins to accept the baby and warm to the idea of him becoming a father. This is such a beautiful experience, he should be revelling in the joy- hopefully, fingers crossed, he realises his love for his child- once he does I am sure he will begin to understand why Heer was so determined to keep their baby. The baby will give him strength as well for sure, just like it did with Heer. No, they do not know the things that both Prem and Heer are going through. I am not sure he knows how to get past this feeling he has and I think to some extent Heer understands. That will be one serious conversation between them, I tell ya! 😃 But sometimes, it is different for men than it is for women..about what they feel for a child. I think that is what we are seeing here.

I especially loved the Meher and Heer interaction- it's so amazing how they are both holding back their pain, unable to confide in each other. The outer shells that they show to the world have a lot of fear, pain and insecurities dwelling inside! And awww I love Harman and Sanjana- they are just so pure and simple- just the sweetest!! Really great update, loved every bit of it!! Will look forward to the next!!

Isn't it a little sad? 😊 About how Heer and Meher cannot tell their most loved one how they are feeling. Sometimes life takes such turns that it is easier to deal with the pain on your own rather than share it with the loved ones..Yeah, Harman and Sanjana are sweet...😃 Have fun..take care!

Now moving over to 2day's update:

Loved the sisterly talk in the beginning.

So,Heer's pregnancy helped Meher in a way, as it captured the attention of all those at home, who had begun to notice the change in Mher from what she was 3 years ago. But how long she manages to escape is a thing to watch out for. Ah, you are right about this.

Meher's to join her Jiju at work ? great. Again she successfully managed to ward off Heer's thoughts that Meher had changed not just in her clothes, way of conduct but also in every manner ? she had grown & Heer's worry over the reason for this complete change in Meher. But I'm sure that she's also aware that her sister is someone who would not keep such things at bay especially when it concerns her only sister. Yep, she started working for Prem. Heer is not really worried, just a little sad that her baby sister has so grown up. 😃 😃

So, all at home are aware of Prem's clear cut instructions ? well, Meher has considered it as over-protectiveness of her Jiju towards her sister & their soon-to-be-born baby for now. Wonder what her reaction would be on knowing the actual reason. Bcos, she has begun to notice the slight changes in her Jiju as u've mentioned abt the absence of any quick & witful retorts/remarks of his to any of her comments, as he did previously. Oh, but you will have to read to find out how Meher finds out about the real reason, if she does at all! And yes, she has become observant enough to notice that Prem is not his usual self. 😉

They seriously need to sit down & have a talk abt this & I hope u've planned to have such an update. Prem needs to acknowledge the baby bcos the more he delays it,the more stressful it becomes for Heer & he needs to realize it at the earliest. His main focus right now is only Heer & the reason is pretty obvious but in the process, he has ignored to consider abt that soon-to-be-born baby ? maybe it's bcos everytime he wishes to do so, the baby reminds him of the risks he/she has posed to the life of Heer & it stops Prem from showing any emotions of a father-to-be. However, unintentionally , this behaviour of his brings abt a sense of insecurity in Heer's mind that he hasn't accepted his child ? so, it's upto him to realize this & make her & his baby comfortable & accept that their world now is "the three". They do, don't they? 😊 There is something in the works, pretty soon you will know. I agree that the more this gets delayed, it will only stress Heer out. You are right about the fact that everytime he thinks of it, he remembers how it is putting Heer in danger and he is not able to get past that. 😃

Loved Sanju-Heer part as well. So, is Sanju up with another good news? Seems to be having quite a good knowledge abt matters concerning this. Let's wait & see. Harman & his books are surely a way of comfort for Heer in her boredom. I like Harman in ur ff ? very, very sweet( very unlike the one on show). I know..Sanju is sweet. Wha..? No...not yet 😆 She is just trying to help Heer, I think! I know.. this Harman is way better than the show, no?

Ah! I was expecting Prem to act this way!!!! I really hope though that he doesn't HATE the baby over the course of this pregnancy!!!!! Only thing missing was Ash today!!! It seemed Meher has noticed the tension in the air between Premeer!!! Nothing misses that girl!!!!! I know...! She has noticed how her BIL is not the same...hope she finds out soon, no? 😉

Ok Meher is all grown up now, just for a guy! What a person can do with his reflexive attitude! 😆 But I will say solitude could never be expected as Meher's cup of tea. And all that attention about herself was making her nervous, & also annoying her I guess. She must have been happy when the attention shifted to Heer for being pregnant & her joining work. It was nice to see her mental growth & also the family scenario from her point of view. We now know nobody objected to any of Prem's instructions, actually orders, when he gave them in that steely no-nonsense attitude. I was wondering maybe G mom will herself suggest that Heer stay downstairs instead of using the stairs so many times. Knowing about her earlier case they will be extra careful. But Prem only made the decisions. But it showed Meher is still in the dark about the miscarriage earlier!! She is all grown up no? Yeah, this will be perfect to deal with that reflexive someone! 😆😆 The attention was annoying and she was also afraid that someone may guess the real reason. No, I think because everyone remembered what happened the last time, they were happy to go along with Prem's ideas. Yep...Meher is still in the dark.

Again loved the sisterly love they have for each other. Heer noticed Meher's maturity which goes way deeper than the surface she portrays & Meher sharing her philosophical views about her parent's absence, I liked that a lot. Obviously this ought to surprise Heer, such intense talks coming from Meher! Another instance of Meher's observation skill in noticing Prem's lack of smart repartees. This girl has learnt a lot when she was away. Yes, Heer would know more, knowing her sister as well as she does. It is somewhat of a surprise and a sadness too to see her baby all grown up. 😃 Yeah...Meher has come a long way...poor kid!

But yeah the family will notice the indifference if it continues for long. So a heart to heart talk is to be awaited for. You are right, about what you wrote the other is feeling. They are just stuck in their thoughts at the moment...and yes, if this goes on for long, someone is bound to notice...😃

And that line where u wrote Heer reluctant to find that out from him also made me feel so emotional! I could so well understand. She just didn't want to burst that bubble of tranquility that overcame their relationship after Prem accepted her decision to carry on with the pregnancy. She wanted to carry on with the peace that she felt & just didn't want to spoil the mood if he did say that he is unhappy with the baby. She doesn't want to hear that from him, so its a case of turning a blind eye & a deaf ear to this situation knowingly. As long as she can hold on to her baby & Prem together she will take it I guess! I am sure knowing Prem's concern over her he must be curbing all his needs & wants as well, right? He must be keeping her at an arm's length unless he gets the green signal from the doctor. This is exactly what Heer is feeling. She wants to hang on to both Prem and her baby and if it means burying her head in the sand about how Prem is feeling, then so be it. But we know that Heer can never do that for long...so it is inevitable that she is bound to question Prem...keep reading! 😉 Ah, yes, Prem has been staying away from her....😆

Loved the interaction between Sanjana & Heer! Smitha u always manage to weave such lovely intricate scenarios in ur story as far as the family is concerned. Seriously we all would love to be a part of such family where every1 looks out for each other, is always giving, helpful, concerned & loving! Its so unreal in today's world & that is why its all the more appealing! Loved their chitchat! Heer still feels overwhelmed with their gesture to wait for a kid & Sanjana trying to evade it by saying they wanted to wait until they r ready, which sounds very logical to me. I am so happy Heer has the full support & care from her family starting from her in-laws to her sister & her husband. I know, right? I so wish I had the Junejas for a family. I think we go through enough sadness in our lives...why write about it too. Yeah, I love happy stories...😆 Sanjana is so sweet....

And yes she better get used to it, its after all for her upcoming baby for whom she is willing to sacrifice anything to hold it in her arms. So she will rest & relax for the next 6 months without lifting her fingers if that will keep the baby safe & sound. And Heer is happy doing this...for she knows in the end, she is going to get the best present ever...so she will do what it takes to keep her baby safe...😃

Smitha I forgot to ask u, Meher does know that there might be some situations when she will have to deal with or face Atul in the work front, right? Afterall he is the partner. So any insights of her's on this respect? Will she be uneasy, reluctant or unaffected trying to put up a brave professional front? I think I will be able to answer some of your questions in the next update! 😉

I think this may be the biggest change in Meher yet. The Meher who loved being surrounded by people, whose best friend is the biggest party animal, ever, that Meher is craving solitude. I guess after being without family for so long she has gotten used to the quiet, and to having time for herself and for her own thoughts, and coming back home has brought a rush of people who want to spend time with her, who love her and will notice the differences, and because of the whole Atul situation, she craves being alone even more because she knows they will notice. She is scared someone will notice, before she has a chance to fully recover from it. And that is why she loves the little time she has on her own. I agree with you that this is probably the biggest change we have seen in Meher...her actively seeking solitude...even if it was for a little while only. And yes, she is afraid someone will find out and where would that leave her? It is a tough situation to be in, no? Being in love with someone, who (apparently) does not love you and one who is so closely linked with the rest of the family...😃

But still she obviously loves to spend time with the family, fully participating in their happiness, and wondering at the little sadness she can see in her sister, the little worry. Again, I have a feeling Meher is going to be the first to notice what PremHeer are going through. And Heer here also notices the slight differences in her sister's character, the maturity she has gained. And while still sad that she no longer is her 'baby', she is also happy that her sister has grown into such a wonderful woman. This relationship you have portrayed between these sisters is absolutely beautiful. That is a given..she will also be the first to find out about the issue with Heer's pregnancy. Thank you...😃 I am glad you liked it.

I feel very sorry for Heer, who is now caught between her baby and her husband. Prem may have accepted Heer's decision, but he is going to have a hard time accepting this baby I think, because he believes the baby is at fault, the baby will cause his wife's death. And that is going to emotionally hurt Heer, because these are the two she loves most in the world. Prem is going to have a hard time accepting the baby and not because it is at fault. It's just that the situation is too fraught with danger to Heer's life and it is not letting him focus beyond that. It has to be seen how Heer will deal with this...😃

Sanjana is too cute. She's the most unaffected by the outside world. She lives in this little bubble of happiness, and I hope that doesn't burst anytime soon. Because she's the ray of sunshine in the story, the ray that used to be Meher, despite her sarcastic comments. This entire segment portrayed the differences in the three women of the family, the ways they have changed and the ways they have remained the same. I love how the one thing that always remains is the bond between all of them. Your writing, much like Austen's, portrays the relationships between women as so strong, and so secure, and so important. It's refreshing to read something like this after watching all those drama shows on TV. 😆 Sorry, Lit moment, remembered that from my notes for the exams. But it is true. 😉 You know, that is right, Sanjana is the least affected by the world outside...she is quite happy with her little shop, her husband, her family. The whole world could take a dive and she wouldn't care. She has all the things she needs. 😆 Nah, I am going to leave her and Harman alone...
Yep, three years don't pass without some change and yet the basic characters have remained the same. Aww...when are your exams? Over now? Good luck!

Waiting for more.. ooh, question, has Meher realised yet that working for Prem means she is also working for Atul? That would make for interesting reading. 😉😆 Ooh, good question. I think she knows..does not want to accept it...but will have to...keep reading! 😉
