Hope u r having a good week so far! Have to personally thank u for these flashbacks in whatever form possible. Now I just sit & wait for Meher-Atul desperately in however way possible.
Ok Lalit should soon open a match making bureau! He is on a roll. Moreover after Prem-Heer he has got a boost in his confidence in match making so now looks forward to that 1 candidate who is available for the purpose! 😃 Poor Meher only if she knew about his intentions, she would run I think! I can't imagine she will be eager to tie the knot so soon. Marry she will but maybe after sometime, once she is settled well at work! But will w&r how u will take it ahead. Maybe in rebound she might agree to get married! But my gut feeling says its the contrary! But maybe since u have to make Atul feel a little jealous & make him come down to India (even if it is for work) we might see her agreeing to marry this guy.
Point to note here was both Gayatri as well as Lalit was aware of Preet's inclination towards Ash. They r not oblivious to them & what I liked was irrespective of her mom they r happy to have Ash as their daughter-in-law if their son wishes so. I like these Junejas the more I read about them, they r so loving, so caring, so giving not only to their children but also to the peripheral family! That is a commendable attitude, oh now I will go & personally meet Lalit & ask him to adopt me! Me poor soul, also need that loving, caring & giving from them. 😃 And as bonus I have Premeer & Atul-Meher to observe! 😍 Ooohhhh sounds sooo dreamy!!
It was so nice to see Meher settling down at work under Prem's supervision. Yeah I can understand her awe in seeing the professional side of Prem. This guy can surely keep a personal & professional front separate & distinct from one another. And I can also imagine him to be a no-nonsense kind of boss, no slack on the work front just like in the personal front! 😆
So that is what Meher feels about working with Atul?? She must have known there will be circumstances when she will have to communicate with Atul, afterall he is the partner! And I can imagine even Atul will be extremely professional like Prem, he will keep everything personal at bay as far as work is concerned no matter how his reflex would like to react! 😆 It will be so interesting to watch them meeting now or for that matter talk over the phone after that last encounter. Will be so eagerly waiting for that scenario.
So finally this character Vishaal Sood makes his entry, I was wondering it has to happen soon, when will u do it! Oh yeah he is really very boyish, trying his charm on girls about a sure-shot topic, romance & tragedy & that too in movies! That pick up line about Casablanca had me 🤣. Shows they r poles apart mentally, next to him Meher really looks mature. Oh & loved the ironic comment about Meher's insight about her life turning into one & how she is defying herself from turning it into one.
This guy is so out of her league, first he was cornered by that experience with women comment & then about the comment about Heer. I was laughing away reading that, poor guy initially he didn't know what to think & say! He was tongue tied at that moment & was relieved to see she was joking. 😆
And then came the trip down memory lane & a nice one at that! All of them partying & enjoying. Seriously even I never thought Atul will be enjoying himself in that loud, boisterous crowd of youngsters! I thought he will stay away just watching them with his cynical hat on! But something must have compelled him to without his knowing about it! He gave in & joined the fun, participated & not only that kept an eye on her as well & took care of her when she was out. Btw Smitha did he take her into his hotel room? Because obviously it was not her bed & he slept on the couch & send for her clothes.....so must be his hotel, right? And don't kill me for an overactive mind, she later changed into fresh set of clothes herself, right? 😆
And u know the highlight of the update was this line for me, "And anyway, you were there, weren't you?" Her trust & faith showed in him here, how unquestioningly she trusted him with herself, she knew he would take care of her no matter what & she can let go off herself loose when he is around without a fear from his end. It takes a lot for a girl to feel so deep like this for someone & I am sure even she was not aware of how & what she said but her subconscious knew!!! I just loved this. She was anticipating a stern lecture whereas only she got was a mild advice. And I loved his answer as well, drink when I am around, sound so personal, so intimate, she so exclusively his....😍, am I getting carried away? Yes I am & thank u for this Smitha! This entire episode just showed his other side, a gentlemanly side which is way different than his reflexive side! 😆 I don't know but this entire attitude of his, participating in the fun not as a chaperone but like one of them & then taking the responsibility of her well being for the night being a proper gentleman, really made me feel so warm about him! Thank u! Hope this will redeem his character a little in eyes of others! 😉 And her defiance in drinking without him around was well childish, for a second got that old Meher back here. 😃
Without any fruity drinks with a kick I feel high! 😆 Just thinking about their interaction.
Oh these 2 have got me so enthralled, can't manage to set them aside, have this endless craving for more!
Smitha I forgot to ask u, did anything significant happen in that Christmas break that u mentioned with Neha? I mean did Atul realise Neha's intentions? Did he put her back into her place or indicated that he was offended by her rudeness? Did Meher witness any personal moments between them accidentally? Just trying to figure what impact was left on both of them.
Splendid update Smitha. Loved it immensely & once again thank u for this flashback. I know u didn't plan to include them this week but u complied with my request. 🤗 u for this. Once again a remarkable job by u & already I am looking forward to more. 😃 Though I sound cheeky just after getting one but heck, they r so interesting, so captivating, I can't stop myself from these cravings! And all the credit goes to u. 😃

Its becoming a regular habit now to edit my mesg with some more queries & thoughts. About the party, did Lalit announce Heer's pregnancy? I mean wouldn't Prem object to it unless he is done with the doctor's appointment & comes to know everything is fine before announcing it to the world?
We know Meher's POV about interacting with Atul but what is Atul's view on this? I know he is more experienced & mature than Meher & openly he won't say anything but definitely he will feel a little hesitancy about it.
U know a scenario just popped into my mind. In her next birthday if they r at work or in a video conference or in a phone meeting, whatever, with work & after the meeting is done just before hanging up very quietly he will wish her "Happy Birthday" & then keep the phone down thus finally putting all her questions at rest whether he remembers or not!!!
Yeah call me crazy, ur story does that to me, I keep mulling over it! Need to get a life, no? 😃
