I am disappointed in Prem - Page 4

i know people are very upset at prem slapping heer, i admit the first time he did that i was more troubled because it didnt seem to be a big problem they were dealing with, it was a little too melodramatic for me but this time it made more sense
any man would lash out at a woman if she told him that she was willing to sleep with "any guy" to get pregnant, and that s what heer said, he didnt slap her when he took the bottle away from her, but when she told him that she thought maybe if he didnt sleep with her she could settle for someone else and she needed the alcohol as dutch courage... that was really pushing his buttons
i just wanted to clarify why he slapped her, not that i think showing such things on tv is a good idea

But this one not only all of us anticipated but even Heer I think did. She was asking for it. I am not saying that it was ok or justified but what I am saying is a guy can take only so much even if it is someone like Prem! A guy can't take all those vile things from their love thrown at their faces. So I understand the reason & logic behind this slap.

And when Harman & Veera insults him though they r younger he takes it because he knows they can never be equal to Heer, she is his lifeline, his love that is eternal & transcends all boundaries.....absolutely different from sibling love, so u can't compare that relation to that of Premeer. But though I sincerely wish he hadn't but somehow I can't accuse him of slapping her this time. She was provoking him way too much & it was called for!

And I am not being partial to anyone just stating my views, that's all.

didnt read comments before responding to this but i didnt agree with ppl about the slap either, i think what heer said was the cause of the slap and more justified than the first one which was unreasonable
but i also liked the way heer was pushing his buttons, i dont think she went too cheap, she needed to do some of these things to get a reaction from prem, something less and we would not have expected prem to burst out with..... how much i loved you, i worshipped you.... so i think heers dialogues in short justified prems confession

I think Heer was prepared for it....

Alright guys....fine...i am disappointed with the creative team...but i see the show from prem's prespective and hes my fav character in show and as a character i dont think the slap was necessary nor justified, no matter what the reason...Prem is the "perfect" character and it just doesnt give a good impression of him slapping heer...also some1 said...he loves her so he slappped her, if he really loved her, i mean he does...he would not have slapped her...love doesnt give any1 the license to slap any1...i respect all ur opinions but the promotion of domestic violence thru the character of prem is not right, nor justified in any sense... i am really suprised with ur answers, i mean if the guy ur married to or the one u love slaps you...would u really like that??! I dont think so....husband, boyfriend, or lover, these relationships dont give them a right to slap or hurt a woman...therefore i am disappointed by the character of Prem...

i Agree with your topic...yaar Ekta is too much....Her all K-soaps are same...Next time you will see Heer Slapping Prem lolz...nothing new..
