Thank God to see I am not the only one who is disappointed & depressed right after I watched the show. Infact I expected it & was going through this phase for quite a while now. Officially the show is 'gone' for me now, I don't want to use the word 'dead' but seriously today I lost my Premeer! I think Prem will open his mouth tomorrow & tell Heer that he is Prem just acting like GS to teach RR a lesson & get all his property back & if he doesn't then all the more another sour note added to the list of disappointments. Is this Heer we know, we fell in love with? Is this Prem's Heer? That girl from Ambala! Now I know many of u all will say 'why will she tolerate all this when she had to suffer so much?' But this is not the only way one would act & retaliate, I mean seriously this girl who never opened her mouth to utter words, who used to be so docile that back then I had to think why doesn't she stand back for herself & open her mouth when she was abused by DJ & then she was praying for some 'farishta' to come & rescue her & just look at her today!
Before inspite of her being so learned & smart she only could manage a 'waitress' job & now she is advising RR to invest in Preet's company as an unknown investor, she checks files of the business as per Preet which he told Meher when Heer went to Pushkar, now Heer has managed to gather all proofs against RR when he was 'supposedly' courting her, our Heer, the one we know as Prem's Heer from Ambala? She managed to find out GS's friend's number & SMS'ed him with instructions as how to address them when they will land in Mumbai, she managed to get tickets even without knowing where & for what GS was booking the tickets for!
Moreover she knew all along that this is not Prem right, then why was she so over physical with him the whole of y'day, simply acting & for what may I ask? What lesson did she want to teach him by holding his arm with her 2 hands in the car, sitting so cosily beside him & acting all coy & shy when he was bandaging her palm & later was putting those bangles on, for what purpose was all those feminist acts for?
I loved her performance when Prem was there till Oct & even after that she was brilliant but lately for the last 3-4 weeks her character is being completely remodeled & that is not upto my taste. Seriously if this trend continues I will bid adieu to the show for good. I loved her how she spoke to Lalit on 9/11 to make him sing, when she went asking Prem what & why is he hiding from her about Harman, when she came to know about Sanjana from Prem the way she calmed Prem down.....that is the Heer I know & can relate to. Now it just seems like another look alike angle to me only difference Prem underwent an accident & changed or faked or whatever but Heer underwent a change without any accident or catastrophe!
This girl I can't recognise, can't associate with, can't relate to as our Heer in any way. Thank u BT for ruining such a splendid show for me that even on the anniversary, for once I thought they have an unique show & lo & behold today we r dished out that same age old mixture of Tulshi, Parvati & other BT female leads. I don't watch any other show because of this typical scenarios, if I had to watch one more Tulsi then why bother with KDMHMD, I can find some other show which will give me more artistic satisfaction along with superheroines.
Thanks Raksha for this post, made me feel lighter after venting out. Really I am very sad for losing our Heer today for good! Even if they do change her again the essence is lost for good like they r doing with Prem. And yeah as I wrote y'day thank the Lord & the BT creatives for not freaking me out by showing her in a slapping spree!
