PART-3

An odd silence dawned upon the room as Prem declared that he doesn't know what to do and therefore Jiya chose to leave the room and give his brother some time to think, some time to spend with himself. She silently made her way towards the exit and gently pushed the door close.

Prem stood up slowly making his way towards the window, staring outside, recalling the moment which changed his life forever..

"Prem, mere bhai, come on in", and was pulled into a warm hug by Akash Mann, Heer's elder brother.

Settling themselves comfortably into their respective couches, Akash cleared his throat and continued,

"Prem I wanted to thank you for taking out Heer from her pain"

"What are you saying bhaiya, she's my friend and it was my duty."

"na na na Prem, itna aasan nahi tha usko phir se confidence dilana… but you did it and see today she had reached the heights of success , Heer Mann the top rated classical dancer" he paused for a while and Prem chose to remain silent.

"Are'nt you happy for her Prem?"

"surely, I am…"

"Then why are you coming between her and her newly found success?" Akash said that in a ice cold told, which shocked Prem and made him stand up

"what do you mean?"

"you do understand what I mean Prem." Paused Akash, taking a sip from his glass he continued. "listen Prem, you know it very well that it was not long that cruel incident happened and took everything away. Heer was the only one saved but her legs stopped working and she lost her will power to stand on her legs, you came as a savior and boosted up her confidence", he turned to face Prem "you are the one who separated her from that wheel chair of her's ,you are the one who made her to dance on her feet again and made her dream come true" looking straight into Prem's eye's he continued " then why are you binding her with your love?"

Prem stood dumbfounded, he looked blank, trying to make the head or tail of what he heard , somehow he managed to utter "what?"

Akash kept his hand over Prem's shoulder and continued "Prem I know you love her, and I know my sister, she too loves you, but don't you think that your love will destroy the dreams that have just started building up?" looking at Prem's confused expressions he continued "abhi abhi to uska sapna saach hona shuru hi hua hai, magar agar tum kahoge ke tum usse pyaar karte ho, to woh apne saare sapne chod ke tumhare saath chali jayegi, aur kya tum yehi chahte ho?"

"magar bhaiya, I myself don't want that, I want her to fulfill her dreams and…"

"and that will not be possible if you stay with her always" Akash said cutting Prem in middle.

"Listen Prem, I want my sister to be happy and initially she will be happy with you but as time passes she wont be and she'll regret that."

The words struck Prem like an arrow and words refused to spit out of his mouth but his eyes did the talking… while Akash continued, " don't take that as an insult, but what you are? You were son of that great Lalit Juneja , the great shareholder, whose death ruined that flourishing business of your family and you and Jiya were looked after by some closer friends of your dad, which included my dad as well. Now you are an employer of Jai Arora ,the famous hotelier where you get a meager salary, do you think my sister, who has always enjoyed all luxuries of life will be able to adjust herself with you? No my boy, love is a volatile substance, it'll vanish when the realities of the life starts to rule

Prem who was listening all the way everything silently at last spoke up "what do you want me to do?"

"Nothing.. live and let live, leave from her life and let her live her life, will you do that Prem?"

Prem wanted to decline it, but deep down inside he believed everything said by Akash was true and therefore with a heavy heart he nodded .

Prem stepped out of the house and he heard a yell for his name from the lawn. He did not turn to see the person calling as he knew who it was. He waited for her to reach him and she did panting. After catching her breath she continued

"Prem, you came? Why didn't you call me? And what is this you are leaving without meeting me?"

Prem gulped a number of times and spoke up "I came to meet you heer, but Jai uncle called me up, I need to leave, its urgent."

"oh o … but I needed to speak to you badly" she took hold of his hand and looking into his eyes she said " I needed to speak to you, something really important."

The emotions in her voice was screaming and informing Prem what she wanted to tell him. He looked away from her and hurriedly said " I am on a hurry Heer, tonight at my place do come, bbye"

He left from there and made a call

"Hello Jai uncle?"

"Prem, where are you beta?"

"Uncle I am on my way to hotel, I called you up to tell you that, book my and Jiya's ticket for New york for today, I am taking up your offer, I am ready to manage your hotels over there."

Jai paused for a while at Prem's statement

"are you sure Prem, what about Heer? You have been declining this offer for her, now what happened?"

"uncle, she'll be alright, everything's in place, please book the ticket, we'll leave tonight."

"ok as you say" and he hung up…

I know...i know this update didnt make sense at all... but I tried my best to make it interesting... personally i didnt like the update..but you ppl do comment and be honest like always...
