It had been almost an hour since Preet was waiting for meher in the hall
" ye meher bhi na pata nahi kitna time lagati hai....... meher... meher...."
he turned around "meh...." and gulped the other portion of the word down his throat........ Meher was looking mesmerising in the saree that he gifted her..... he never thaught that she can look this beautiful he was not able to take his eyes off her....
" kya hua preet kyun chilla raho ho...... " preet wasnt reacting he had his jaw dropped at her sight
" preet......... preet chalein"
" haan haan chalo lets go........ no actually w8 a minute" he blindfolded her
'preet what are u upto preet please if this is sum kind of a prank then i m really not in the mood "

preet guided meher towards the car and made her sit inside carefully...

" was that preet and meher " asked prem who was standing beside heer....
" i think so...... i have been noticing them from quite sometime they always steel glances at each other i wondered wats wrong with them, but i think i kno now" said heer smiling to herself
" yea now i know too....." said Prem in a husky voice
" what...." asked heer
prem drew her to him his hands griping her waist eying her lips he said
"yahi.. ki you notice others too other than me......" he said in a husky voice about to place a kiss on her lips but his mouth met her hand
" enough i think now we should go......." she said sternly.....
" heer.... wats the hurry "
" what do you mean wats the hurry its already 12.... we really do have to go "
" really.... do we??....." he said drawing her closer to himself placing his hands oh her cheeks and following the countour of her neck heer held his hand and pressed it only to hear a painful sound " ouch"
" what happened...... "

" ohh god prem your whole palm had burnt what have you been doing here why didnt u tell me before..."
" heer its ok its alright there is nuthin to worry....."
" what do u mean there is nuthin to worry..... you are coming with me right now...... how can u say its alright....... dont you kno how bad it can get......"
" but heer i m fine"
" no you are not fine " she said sternly with panick in her voice
she dragged him by the hand downstairs to her room....... got the first aid kit applied on the burn.....
" is it burning a lot??"
" not realli its fine...... "
" you are lying......"
" no i am not....... and anywyas if you do anything so lovingly then i dunt think that anythin can hurt.." he again tries to flirt with her but this time kuldi cums to the rescue.......
" are prem heer kahaan the tum dono..... i have been searching for you guyz...... and ye kya what happened to your hand"
" nutin kuldi it just got burnt a bit"
" you love heer a lot right....."
prem looked straight in heer's eyes...." i think i am the wrong person to ask this question?"

"nywyas its too late i think you should go and sleep...." she said dragging Prem out of the room.....
" goodnite heer and make sure you lock the room from inside beacuse i kno some people here who will leave no stone unturned to disturb you in your sleep" she said looking at prem
"kuldi i think we should leave now" said prem with an improvised smile......

meher was unable to believe what she was seeing....... preet had decorated a beautiful round poarch which had marbled pillars sorrounding it with a tapering dome shaped roof...... there were candles all over the place beautifully placed in glass bowls floating in water with rose petals.......
meher turned to preet "preet all this......."
"shh....... meher i kno that all this is quite new for you but i dutn think that i had any better way to express what i have been feeling for you lately.."
"meher our marraige was a very unusual one we married each other because we both were obligated towards bauji and we had to save his respect......but now after living with you after knwoing you i really want to turn this relationship into a very special and the most precious one"
" meher i dutn know that what you will think about me after this but i dutn think that i can see you in a light of just a friend anymore you are much more than that to me now..... when you are not with me i really get worried i have this fear of loosing you.... turst me meher i have never felt this way for anyone...."
meher was just listening to all this with tears in her eyes she was not able to believe her ears....... was it a dream this meant that preet actually loved her........ PREET the person whom she loved the most but did not have the guts to tell him that person was actually reciprocationg her love without her saying anything
" meher i want to start a new life with you..... a life that is full of happiness and love....... meher i lo"
meher turned preet around and put her hand on his mouth..... tears running down her cheeks....
" preet lemme complete this for you...."
she cuped his face in her hands.....
' i dunno since when preet but you have become my world i cannot see beyond you... but i was always fearful of confessing my feelings to you thinkin that if i would do that then i will not be able to get your freindship either but i think i was the biggest fool on this earth alive......... yes preet I LOVE YOU.......... i dutn think that i can imagine my life without you....."
both of them were goin thru mixed feelings at that point..... they were feeling stupid, relieved, happy, embaressed, Loved and nervous at the same time tears running down their cheeks and smile on their faces.... but never the less the main thing was that they both loved each other...... and as soon as that feeling sunk in they both hugged......
