That night Ash and Heer had lots of fun, fooling around like little girls after that they decided to go upstairs when they heard Balraj talking louder than usual.
"Kal? Sach!? Aup sab kal aa rahe ho?! Mein apko bataa bhi nahi sakte ki mein is vaqt kitne khush hoon!"
"Haan, aup kisi cheez ki chinta maat kar mein Nihaal ko bhej do ga kal! Acha hmm"
After a few more head nods and mhm's Balraj rested the phone back in its cradle.
"Teji!!! Teji!"
"Ji? Kya hua?" Teji replied surpised at Balraj's yelling and puzzled by his excitement.
"Kal Lalit aa raha hai, Toronto se!!!"

Ash and Heer looked at one another, "Whoa Lalit uncles coming? It's been years!" Ash beamed.
"I know, oh my gosh remember Preet and Prem, and how much trouble we would all get into when we where little," Heer chimed in.
"Those were the days," Ash stared into space, "I wonder what they look like now ahah, remember how chubby Preet was, we would call him Kaduu and he would get so mad! Hmm if they where that cute then I wonder what they look like now," Ash winked.
"Ash, tum bhi na, boy crazy," Heer chuckled.
"AM NOT!" Ash smacked her sisters arm laughing.
"Ahaha just kidding," giggling, the two made their way to the dining table to drink some water.
With the excitement of meeting their childhood friends after almost fifteen years the two began to giggle and reminisce all those precious memories that they shared. Heer particularly remembered one incident and that was when Prem had jumped a fence to get Heer this pink flower that she really liked and then ended up ripping his shorts. And how when they got home and Gaytri auntie began to scold him for ruining his shorts he told her that it was all Heers fault, but of course Gaytri auntie didn't buy his story.
"Hey remember their older sister Kul, she always acted like she was too cool to play with us," Ash began.
"Well she was a lot older than us, when we where eight she must have been fourteen or fifteen, there probably wasn't much that we would have in common at that age,"
"Yaa, hmm I wonder if she's coming too..."
Balraj walked in on their conversation, "She already lives here,"
"Since when?" Heer questioned.
"Well, she married some gora and even though Lalit objected to it, she got married to him anyways, and eventually they got divorced. Lalit hasn't talked to her since. That was so unlike Kul, woh kitni pyaari bhachi thi hamesha apne bauji ki baat mantey the... kher chodo," He shook his head, "But don't mention anything about Kul in front of your Lalit uncle,'' he shook his finger while saying the last part, informing us and warning us at the same time.
''Of course we won't badey papa, you know us better,''
''I know, acha ek aur baat, Prem and Preet are going to be staying with us too, so I'm counting on you two to make them comfortable. Darasal, Prem arrived a week ago to begin the semester, and is staying with a friend for now," Balraj explained.
"Yes sir!" both girls saluted in unison.
"Acha, aur Heer beta apki pehla din kaisa raha," he questioned in a passive tone.
"Awesome!" Heer lied.
"Hmm, acha acha theek hai, ab tum dono ja kar so jaa," he hurried out toward the living room.
No doubt tomorrow will be interesting with Balraj beaming with excitement; he probably won't get much sleep tonight. Lalit and his family used to live in Vancouver as well; actually Lalit and Balraj immigrated to Canada together. Balraj worked his way up to being a CGA and even running his own firm. Meanwhile Lalit's business began to branch out to different cities, eventually he decided to move to Toronto where he would be even more successful. But now Lalit seemed to be tired of making money as he already had enough, he just wanted to settle down and enjoy with his family and friends.
