RR could not believe what he had just heard. he had never imagined that he could be cheated like this. when heer had fainted in the mandap he had thought that it was just because of the tension which she was going through. but when the doctor had told him about heer's condition he felt as if someone had poured melted glass in his ears. he had never thought that heer would hide the truth from him and he was making a deal in which the loss would be his and all his hopes of taking revenge from prem would be shattered.
the people who had come for the party had already left after heer's blackout. the marriage rituals had never been completed. she had been carried to the bedroom and the doctor had come for her checkup.RR knew one thing that if heer knew that the wedding had not taken place she would back out and that would lead to the failure of his plans as he had already given back everything to the juneja's and heer was the only bait left to torture prem. but with this whole fiasco his mind had stopped working------ the marriage was incomplete---- the girl was pregnant with someone else's child ........ and the reason to heep heer with him no longer existed------ his head was in a turmoil and he was not finding a way out of this situation which he needed to do immediately ..... before heer gained her conciousness.
it was then that his mother suggested him a way which seemed to work. the marriage was still incomplete..... he knew about it........ but heer did not!!!! as she was still unconcious. all he had to do was to make her wear sindoor and a mangalsutra to make her believe that she had been married to him while she was still unconcious and her unconcious state hardly mattered to him to make him go ahead with his deal. his mother did the job for him. the doctor was made to wait in the living room till heer gained conciousness while mrs. rampal went ahead with the job of applying sindoor and making her wear a mangalsutra.
when heer gained conciousness she came to know about her pregnancyand she was shocked. she could not believe what she had heard. she got up slowly and tried to digest the truth. which she had just heard. the doctor left her alone in the room. she stood up and immediately caught her reflection in the mirror.. her eyes did not miss the sindoor and mangalsutra......... so....... she was married to rr now....... huh... she thought to herself .... what else could be expected from him.... to go ahead with the rituals even when she was unconcious...... anyways it did not make any difference to her. on the contrary she thanked god that she was not a witness to her own destruction. she did not care about anything for now she had a part of prem with her. she was sure that when rr would learn the truth he would surely divorce her and then she would be free because no man could tolerate a wife who was carrying someone else's child.
she stood by the window staring at the moon........ the same moon which connected her with prem..... and was lost in the thoughts of her night with him.

his last words still echoed in her ears when she heard footsteps behind her.she turned around and saw rr fuming with anger.
rr- so you lied to me ha! how could you. you have cheated me by hiding the truth about your pregnancy. i'll never forgive you....
heer-so it's hurting your manhood right? your wife carrying someone else's child....
rr did not miss her mocking tone but at the same time he was pleased at heer's "your wife " remark...... so there was no need for him to make her believe that they were married. smart move rr ....... he thought to himself.....
heer- so now you want to divorce me. well it's fine with me as i don't want you to bear this burden. this child is mine and i will give birth to it all alone.... you send the papers and i'll sign them.
hmmm so she thinks that i'll let her go off so easily, rr thought to himself..... well then this female was in for a surprise.
rr- so you think that i'll let you off so easily? if you think so then you're wrong honey......
heer was shocked when she heard this. what was this rr upto???
rr- if you think that i married you because i was interested in you then you're wrong. i married you because i wanted to destroy prem..... i wanted to hurt him so badly that he would never be able to forgive himself because you would be paying for his wrongs..
heer- then you have made a very bad deal risabh. you will never be able to hurt my prem. he is........ far........ far away in the stars....... where your dirty hands can never reach him.
rr- so you think that he's far .. far away in the stars.... then .... i must say that you're in for a surprise..
heer- what do you mean?
rr- i mean that i never make a wrong deal dear..... prem is in a place where i can always lay my hands on.............................................
