Part 6

As Heer was entering the ballroom lights dimmed and there was only one light that was showing on her. Everyone looked towards the main door to see her'they were all speechless'she was looked stunning'Prem couldn't believe his eyes'he didn't dare to blink for a second thinking if he did, this might just be a dream'but it wasn't, this was a dream come true, Heer looked just like an angel from heaven on earth. She looked amazingly beautiful tonight, Prem thought. How could someone be so beautiful and good-looking at the same time? He couldn't resist but stare at her intensely'this made him fall in love with her all over again.

Heer was a nervous wreck while she was coming in from the main door'and the light only glinting on her. Although she couldn't see other people's faces because of the dimmed light, but she could feel the intense gazes staring at her. Suddenly the lights came on and everyone started cheering/clapping for her when her father came in and gave her a big hug.

Balraj: Congratulations beta! I'm so proud of you! Said Balraj excitedly with a big smile on his face.

Heer: Thank you papa ji! Aap ne yeh sab mere liye kiya hai?

Balraj: Haan beta'aur kyun na karta? Aaj meri beti ne itni badi kaamyabi payi hai toh mein uske liye itna bhi nahin kar sakta kya?

Heer: Thank you so much Papa ji! Said Heer with tears in her eyes and hugged her father tightly.

Balraj: Your most welcome beta'ab chalo, yeh rona bandh karo aur sabse jaake millo. Theek hai? He said and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Heer: Ji papa ji.

After talking to her father, Heer went to go meet with all the guests as they congratulated her and greeted her with gifts and flower bouquets. As she came to Prem, she was feeling extremely nervous, but didn't know why.

Her heartbeat raced when she saw him, dressed in a black suit. He looked dashing, handsome; fine'in fact there were no words to describe him. Finally Heer got there'being shy'and having her gaze on the floor, while his was exactly on her.

Prem: Hi Heer! Congratulations! Yeh tumhare liye (handing her a gift)

Heer: Thank you'lekin yeh sabh karne ki kya zarurat thi?...tum mere party mein aaey'wohi bhaut badi baat hai'yel sabh karne ki koi zarurat thi.

Prem: Arre, kyun nahin thi? Tum meri dost ho, toh kya mein tumhare liye itna bhi nahin kar sakta?

Heer: haan woh toh hai'she said while blushing and giving a sweet smile.

Just when Prem was about to tell Heer how beautiful she looked, the DJ announced for people to come on the dance floor and slow dance. This was an opportunity that Prem could not miss to dance with Heer'so he asked:

Prem: Heer'will you dance with me?

Heer was a little hesitant, but how could she say 'no' to such a sweet guy? So she silently nodded her head yes and both of them went on the dance floor so dance on the song 'Main Agar Kahoon' from the movie Om Shanti Om.

As the song started'they both went into their own dreamland'where it was only them alone'with know one else disturbing them. The song is over and everyone starts clapping for them'when they hear the claps they realize that the song is over.

Afterwards when the dinner was over, people started coming on the open dance floor dancing to the latest songs. Heer was really enjoying herself, but to get some fresh air, she went out side to the garden outside the ballroom. Prem also followed Heer outside since he didn't want to miss any glance of her'Heer was standing there in the garden staring at the starry night sky with a smile on her face, when Prem came up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder.

Prem: Heer?

Heer: (turning around to see who it was) Oh Prem'tum'kya hua tumhe party mein mann nahin lagraha?

Prem: Yeh savaal to mujhe tumse phoochna chaahiye'vaise tum yahaan kya karrahi ho?

Heer: Oh..woh toh..bas kuch nahin'socha thodi der ke liye bahaar aajaoon to thodi fresh air mil jaye gi.

Prem: Um Heer'mujhe tumse kuch kehna tha'prem said while putting his had through his hair.

Heer: Haan Prem'bolo'

Prem: Heer'tum aaj'tum aaj bahaut achi lagrahi ho iss dress mein.

Heer: thank you'she said while blushing'she could feel her cheeks go red.

Prem: Aur haan'dance bhi bhaut acha kar leti ho

Heer: Acha? And they both started laughing.

"Heer!!!!" said aslesha from the doorway, "chalo hamein chalna hai..der horahi hai"

Heer: Mein aarahi hoon!!...Bye Prem'sorry mein tumse baad mein baat karoongi'abhi mujhe jaana hoga..ok bye!!!

Prem: Bye!! Said Prem'a little disappointed that he couldn't spend time with Heer'but it was ok'at least he spent more than enough time with her.
