*sigh* yes, 13 days of "waiting for prem". *double sigh*
* little thing: so heer sold her jewellry - actually mustve swapped it for veeras. i couldve guessed that. what i want to know is - why did everyone else look so surprised? is it because they know that vitchface veera stinks and are vondering vhy heer vould do such a thing for her? ans: cause prem vanted it, sillies! and heer does anything and everything prem ever vanted... 😍
* little thing: totally loved heers oh-no-shes-talking-in-riddles-again face when kooky started talking, didnt you? 😆
* little thing: oooh, vitchface is such an attention-seeker! so totally loved it that no-one vent after her vhen she ran sobbing avay. run, vitchface! keep running, out of the room, out of the house, out of the story! 🤣
* big thing: at first, the smile on heers face when she saw her phone threw me for a loop - seriously! but then.. as she tenderly fingered the keys and prems face came on, it started becoming clear. and then, the sweetest moment of all, heer "talks to prem" before falling asleep...like hes there, like hes listening. and of course, he is. and heer knows it: whereever you are, take care of yourself. the only thing that heer ever wanted... i remember her saying to this when he was trying to tell her about sanjana with such difficulty... oh, heer. i wasnt expecting the tears to come, but they did.
* little thing: well, of course, hotel staff are gonna vanish if you dont pay them! and how can you pay them if you arent really working on running the business?? i loved that - for the first time ever! - we got to see harman looking rather out of his depth. its one thing to dabble in shares - but to actually take over the hotel business? has he ever actually been to prems office?? i felt as sceptical as lalit juneja looked when harman said not to worry, he'll take care of everything. huh.... boyo, you are soooo gonnna have to grow up fast!
* little thing: anyone else wonder exactly what it is that kiran the kul-di husband does?? cause bout the hotel business, he looks like he has no clue either!
* little thing: and we all know what lalit juneja knows how to do: sit around sulking like a dark gnome-shaped cloud and breathe fire all day.. 😡 how dare he shout at preet when he brings in business?? hmm! exactly, how the heck did he make all the money he did in canada? did he just steal it? is that why ratpal is gunning after him? did lalit juneja just steal ratpals fathers money to get rich?? 😡 hmmmmmmm!
* little thing: kay, one thing that kinda bothered me about preets dialogue today -- "whatever i do, goes wrong". there havent been that many things since pb died that he has done, right? lemme think: kay, so he tries to get his fathers car back and landed in jail and shouted at by lalit juneja. and today, he gets business and gets shouted at by lalit juneja. not enough to cry before pbs photo, i thought. but then again, he is missing his pb -- crying in front of the picture was okay... still - wish theyd scripted that part better.
* big thing: i guess that sense that preets script couldve been better combines with the sense of discomfort i felt at the harman-meher part too. over the last seven months, we have been soooo desperately focussed on prem-heer and have totally loved the development of those characters. prem-heer are full-bodied, full-souled for us - to the extent that we just know how they will react and think. we love these two cause we (think we) know them. today, i realised that prem-heer-development came at a cost -- none of the other characters are developed as much - maybe not at all!
for instance, mehers entire conversation made me want to hit her on the upside of her head. i agreed with her - it is her fault for having loved harman. what bugged me was - then why take that hurt tone of voice with him??? id have respected her a lot more, if she was calmer, dry-eyed (and frankly less lip-glossed! 😆) same with harman -- what the heck was he doing grabbing mehers hand at the end?? exactly what was he trying to do? especially since he didnt dare say anything after that look that she gave him.... dunno, made me feel peeved, that scene...
* little thing: liked the idea of heer-preet meeting with the hotel staff. and it sooo made sense that the staff agree to go along with it -- for prems sake. (seriously! its like the guy never left - hes everywhere! 😆)
so while at first, i thought that preet shouldve been the one priming the staff up, later, it made sense that heer was the one doing the talking... i guess everyone knows how prem-heer-are-one, huh? 😆😍
* little thing: preet is such a baby! he is still getting hurt at his fathers stoooopidities! waiting for him to grow up faster. heer! help him grow up faster!
* little thing: aarrrggghh!! maya has a father. a lalit juneja wanna-be, looks like. and quite like maya too - yet another caricature character - who is going to be boooooooooring! no, wait! we already had a free sample today of how the character is going to behave -- who is sooooo boring! why, why, why????? are they doing this? 🥱 man, i soooo hate being bored... um... can we have some more flashbacks please? pruhty pleaase? 😃 i mean, its been two days since we had any prem/prem-heer! c'mon guys! have pity! 😆
* little thing: preet is sooooo sweet! his father is in the kitchen (and just what the heck is lalit juneja doing there???) and choking on the smoke (clearly he has never done a hard days work in his life, unlike preet who handles being there like the little soldier that he is!). and darling preet, instead of letting his "baba" choke, turns the fan in his direction so that the air is clear for him to breathe... darling preet. 🤗 gayatri-mom, get back to your brains quickly and be with your son! he needs you!
* little thing: *sigh* are we supposed to wonder exactly what harman will do? personally, im hoping that he is peeved enough at the way that maya behaved last week with him (even though she was right), and proud enough of the way heer (and preet) have dealt with the staffing problem and will stand up for heer...
*😆 take that look of shock off your face guys! you know that i have always had more faith in harman -- like prem! me and prem - we think alike.... hmmm... ugh. does that mean i have to ... uh ... hate myself?? ouch.. this is making my head hurt... 😆*
you do know i have an ulterior motive? if harman stands up for heer and shouts down maya-father, then they can leave the show and we will have got rid of two-two booooring characters! *yipppeeeee! good idea, no? 😆*
highlight of the episode: ah, what else? heer tucking herself in *sob!*, next to prems picture, saying "pata hai?" into the phone, like prem was actually on the line, and ending with "aapka kyal rakhna.."
prem-heer-are-one. prem has to come back for his heer. so even though, its 13 days now, still w&w.... 😊
