i think that heer was never the type to fuss over jewels - but knows that veera cares a great deal. i think she just meant that she doesnt need the jewels right now -- when prem returns, she can get more for her wedding. cause when prem comes back, their problems will be solved, there will be enough money to buy more jewellry. and besides by then, all the designs will have changed too!! 🤣 (i soo remember vibha and trivs going on and on about the ancient designs on gayatri-mom's jewellry... man, i miss them!)

i think that it is very unlikely that the people who create this show actually have time to read this. so for me to actually think that i can make a wish for diwali that can be heard is ... being tooooo ambitious. but what the heck! if i dont write it down, they will never know, no?

so when i wrote "hey, a girl can try, right?" i was just meaning that -- that even though it is close to impossible to get such a wish granted, i (the girl 😆) can always try to get the wish by writing it down. the worst that can happen is that the wish doesnt get granted. right?

* little thing: and we all know what lalit juneja knows how to do: sit around sulking like a dark gnome-shaped cloud and breathe fire all day..

poor preet, he seemed like a small boy trying to please his father.... u know small things like handing him juice and stuff aanything to make him like him again :(
* big thing: i guess that sense that preets script couldve been better combines with the sense of discomfort i felt at the harman-meher part too. over the last seven months, we have been soooo desperately focussed on prem-heer and have totally loved the development of those characters. prem-heer are full-bodied, full-souled for us - to the extent that we just know how they will react and think. we love these two cause we (think we) know them. today, i realised that prem-heer-development came at a cost -- none of the other characters are developed as much - maybe not at all!
you know that is true, even though we have loved all we got from prem and heer but i think the creatives messed up here, if they had spread the story evenly we could have had more of prem and heer and not focus on them entirely all the time, i think they got carried away by the response of fans to premeer magic, i mean they got that award in june or july, the show only started in march, wasnt that really quick, i guess they tried to take max advantage of that chemistry ....
same with harman -- what the heck was he doing grabbing mehers hand at the end?? exactly what was he trying to do? especially since he didnt dare say anything after that look that she gave him.... dunno, made me feel peeved, that scene...
i m telling you they are trying to re create the hand holding chemistry, though they are failing miserably, but i think meher looked cute though a little too made up, but at least she stood up for herself, she wasnt oh thank u for talking to me and i will forgive all ur mistakes bcos i love u....

i figure that its a sim thing and not a phone thing. so voice mail will get recorded till the subscription is kept alive (😆 prem lives while his phone subscription lives -- how twisted is that?? 😆) and ya, i too thought that the first recording was not prem's voice -- was yesterdays his voice? was more convincing.. and you are right! hadn't noticed it "when i make a promise, i will fulfil it"! very interesting! 😃

i never quite get this -- how can they distort the story at the very beginning to suit something that is "catching the audiences fancy"? i mean, the show's about the story, right?

since being locked down in bed so much, ive had the chance to watch some of the other shows. and the thing that jumps out at me is how they are consistent in the story telling. the story itself is boring as drinking starch water. but it is told at an even pace -- no sudden new characters, no abrupt beginnings, no loose ends. this prem-heer story - like what i've seen of other balaji telefilms shows - has got a desperately uneven pace, and it jumps all over the place. in the final analysis: these shows need to have a magical pair or it just wouldnt capture anyones interest.

i think balaji telefilms is in a lot of hot water as a production company if they dont switch gears to making better stories to tell. the old style of show making is dead. hmmm. well, unless they get hc-ag as prem-heer. then it works. 🤣

I've stopped watching the show. Only search certain parts on YouTube. Cannot take all the bakwas anymore. No Prem, no KDMHMD. Prem-Heer-are-one, and only when they show that, will I restart watching the show.
