d'you know who's supposed to be the most perfect male? in the whole world, i mean?
well, a darned lot of people in the world say that the closest to perfection is ... michelangelo's david. ya! not prem! imagine! a marble statue instead of prem! imagine that!!! i was quite affronted in class, i tell you! not that i like prem or anything. still! there's a difference between truth and imagination, no??? i mean, how can the entire world be so stuck in their sochch when i know the sachch is different!!! 🤣
so i wanted to ask on the most unbiased place on earth i could imagine -- this phorum! so what if it's largely philled with pheophle suphphering from epe/ephe?? we are sooo unbiased! 🤣
*btw, that is not a lie! on the phhandooh-at, we actually phougpht and phougpht and decided that there is a big diphpherence between phhandoooh and ghhandooh. see! we're totally unbiased here! 🤣 🤣*

now. now! be fair! remember, michelangelo, da vinci -- these were artists, who studied lots and lots of gorgeous looking (italian) guys with lean bodies and hard muscles, and aquiline noses and strong jaws, and dark hair and deep eyes -- just to find out the meaning of perfection that god could create in the form of a man.
so it's
not trivial to say that david is one of the most perfect depictions of man.
you can see the dilemma i faced: go with
sochch -- the hard research da vinci and michelangelo did and say david's the perfect male? or go with
sachch -- that if my brain cells short-circuit, flame up and burn out by seeing a guy in wet-white shirt in blue light, then it must be that he's the perfect male! 🤣
and during today's class on the human form in art through history, when david came up on screen, some burnt out nerve-cells came back to life. those cells that had burnt out during the episode that must not be named! that just before they had burnt out in my mental nuclear meltdown, i remember frantically wondering where i had seen that gorgeous face before - drenched in blue light, above sculpted shoulders, draped in a wet-white shirt *gaaaah!!! 😡 i hate prem!* -- and then, the last thing i remember before everything went blank was that he reminded me of the white-grey perfection of michelangelo's david that i'd seen a couple of years ago...
today, after class, i came back to the forum to check. and discovered --- 😲 omg! they did look similar!
first, i looked at david. and then i looked at prem. and i noticed that their shoulders are remarkably alike.. maybe prem's is a little more sloped? i noticed that the width of the neck is just so in both cases. and their faces? same structure. although, i must say *turning brick red with embarassed honesty* i think prem's got the better jawline.. donchya think? 🤣
oh, decisions, decisions. who to choose? who to choose??!
i was beginning to go quietly mad, all by myself, stuck in this problem of plentiful choice. and i thought - hey, why don't i share my pain with my pals on the ihp club!!?? they'd understand. they'd share and lessen my pain! so here i am! *also, i must say - with all humility and fairness - that i (with epe on my brain) was afraid that i might be a
leeetle biased. 🤣*
