Really missed doing this for a while and thought needed a break to get the creative adrenaline going. So here I start writing my analysis for the soap - AGAIN.
After a not so good week or two with a lot of hoopla and hype and certain unwarranted insistences, it's time to rejoice finally. Dont want to really comment on the unwarranted insistence - its a closed chapter, i hope so for the sanity of the forum and everyone here... looks like it was a major publicity stunt and hats off to the telly buzz team for showing us that there is still a ray oh hope where meaningful journalism is concerned. The way the additi thing was handles spoke of ethics of the highest order, integrity and sensitivity in dealing with the situation. It spoke of the trust factor and hope the other mediums of media take a cue from them...
Hats off to additi for the dignified silence!! It spoke of the maturity level in the girl....
Looks like we are in for a major treat this week. Going by Thurdays preview, this week promised to be fun filled, exciting and enthralling. Todays Episode was all that more.
Before I start with my analysis, I would really like to applaud the creatives for having the guts to show us something real. A child - parents bond is a treasured bond and the father son is something not seen on television before. It spoke of family ties and a ordeal a family and a child goes through..It spoke of predicaments and it spoke of promises made and unkept. It spoke of the hard hitting realities of life. Coming to todays episode:
The pre cap showed prem telling his bauji ki heer mujhe chodke nahin jaa saktee hai. It showed a belief, a hope and a sense of denial...
Betrayal, Hurt and Denial :
- Gayatri telling Lalu that it was all his fault spoke of the hurt in gayatri heart. It was also the first time that you actually saw gayatri break down and really speak her mind.
- Lalu expression is that of disbelief and of hurt. There is slight remorse being shown in his face, and it remains to be seen how the creatives handle this track. Would ;love to see lalu repenting and doing something about it.
- Jugni's expresson was that of fear..(she is a good actress) when she says toofan to ab aayega, aur un saari cheezon ko le jayega, jin cheezon se kahaniyan baanee thi... (prem and heer ki love story to actually main nahin banee thi.... to toofan yahan pe lagoo nahin hai😆😆) aur un kahaniyon ko itihaas banega,..
Remember the last time when jugni was shown was during the mandap scene... that time jugni said that two lovers were going to be separated and prayed to god fir a miracle.... what i am trying to see that a miracle dis happen that time so may be what jugni is trying to imply now is that, its time for a new beginning...woh toofan woh aayega , woh zaroor ayega and the screen shifts to prem diving in....and heer bodies going neeche and neeche.... so may be the toofan is heers memory loss which will affect the lives of everyone around them, jin cheezon se kahaniyan banee thi.... could also mean the lies spoken by daljeet which led to one story after another...
- aap apni naqabi ko mere bete ki zindagi se mat jodiye .. lalit spoken of an unspoken truth this time, it went for him and his plight at his situation as much as it did for the rescue team...
- heer not recignising prem and prems reaction thereafter spoke of the impending hurt yet to come in prems life.
Beliefs , Reliefs & Hopes.
- Heers memory loss is something that will have a major impact on Lalu... (I hope the creatives continue showing the flashback scenes between lalit and balraj)
- Jungni being shown on the show is a relief (though I will miss peer baba and his prediction and i hope somewhere down the story line, prem taes heer to a dargah in an effort to bring her memory back and they encounter the peer baba,.. (the storm showed no signs of peer baba😭)
- the plight of the family spoke of the belief each one had in each other and in their hearts and faiths
- the suttle teasing being shown in the pre cap comes as a ray of hope.... more such moments please
- the renewed freshness as shown in the pre cap seems to be a step in the right direction
Destiny Dreams & Reality
preet consoling his mother as his mother break down spoke of an unspoken bond between a brother and a mother. Preet and Gayatri relatiobnship is also one of a kind... only its unexplored as of now but shows a lot of promise...
Gayatri lighting a diya spoke of her faith and belief. When she told lalu that this was all his fault. She spoke of yet another unspoken truth. Wonder how lalu is going to pay for his repetence. One Act of his and his sons life has gone for a toss. (I hope they continue to show flashbacks of balraj and lalit though... )
preet telling the police force that nothing will happen to his brother spoke of a brothers faith and love. It spoke of the hope and trust, and belief preet had in the power and strength of their ties.
Prem risking his life and jumping into the river spoke of how strong a love a can be, it spoke of a love so pure, that even forced "death" to look the other way,..
but wait there is no river in ajmer and neither is there any khaiiyees or vaaidiyaas in ajmer... or was it the pushkar lake that they were trying to portray as a river... had they taken this nitty gritty into account, the set up would have been a bit more realistic...
Reality being that harshad is a powerful and a terrific swimmer, swimming with one hand and holding somebody else with the other is a hericules task to perform
Prem talking to heer while placing her on the log, spoke of an undying love, a friendship, it spoke of an assurance needed to know that heer was alright. Prem is nothing without heer and heer is nothing without prem. both are incomplete without each other and both are complete only with each other. I guess that whats the montage also explains , that heers memory loss means that heer is away from prem technically or will move away from prem, yet like one of the dove stays, so will the essence of heer in prem stay.... or then the dove stays on, means that heer will stay on in prem heart..
Prems puring his heart out or rather confessing to his feeling and this confession has been the best of it all. It spoke of the truth in the voice, it spoke of honesty and it has been the best confession of all as it was from the heart. no one egged him to confession, there werent any situations that forced him to say this. He sd it, not because he fekt it would be the last time he might see heer but because he knew that their hearts were connected and if their heaerts were connected then dil ki awaaz ek dil se doosre dil tak zaroor jayegee
Mysterious disaapearances, Mysterious Acts
- Meher, Ashlesha, DJ, Balwant, nihaal and beeji were no where to be seen and no one seemed to be worried about them was a bit too hard to digest. Neither were they shown to be present at the hospital...
- Since when can one diya be like roshni in the middle of the river....
- Prem seeing heers body, when it has infact reached the bed, the river is supposed to be deep as mentioned by the rescue team so does prem have a super duper vision kya that too at night, when its dark and you cant see a thing
- the sound of the river is usually strong and one cant realli hear anything.... unless the river is rather silent, which i assume this one wasnt as the police force themselves them that leheron bahut tez hai, but then i dont think the river can carry the sound of the payals ....
-- nihaal identity is now known to the audience... when will it be known to nihaal a to who his sister is.... may be this amnesia loss is something that will help nihaal be in touch with his sister...habiba though didnt tell him who the girl was - how in the world is nihaal going to look for his sister?
- Cant believe that there was no body from heers side at the hospital and lalu were very worried bout prem .. prem was the only one who asked about heer... where in the world is her family - her sister - her chacha - her chachi .... and by the looks of it, everyone was so worried about prem that they forgot that they had other members of the family tooo...
Bouqets and Brickbats...
Just bravo, bravo and bravo....
Excellent Acting by Harshad, Excellent Stunts, Brilliant display of camera works and an equally amazig direction. This episode had me gasping in awe by its sheer brilliance. BTW just realized that HC and Additi try to make the scenes look as realistic as possibe and accordingly do the look...
The outster from the house required him tio have a devas kind of look and now that hes back home, the cute little stubble is back and so is the hair cut... harshooo looks cute and hot and yet there is freshness .... additi too looks fresh and innocent - - just realized that just ltying down, emotionless with eyes shut also requires tremedous acting abilities and hats off to both additi and harsha for carrying out this role to perfection.
