Ekta's lead yet to meet her - Yasir artic

Yasir, who hails from Pakistan, reveals, "I have not interacted with Ekta till date. I have not even spoken to her over the phone neither have I got any feedback from her but since she offered me a second show it means she is happy with my work. On April 30 I will be going to Pakistan so I think I will meet her when I comeback. I am in touch with their creative head Nevidita Basu. She has narrated the script to me for the new show as well."

Yasir is going to play a college boy in the show." I will be playing a young guy who is very hip-hop. The show is basically youth centric. Anita Hasnandani is playing prominent role and so am I," he reveals and adds, "I got a call from Balaji just when I was thinking of going back to my home state Pakistan. But I a got response for my role in Khwaish so I think my fans' prayers paid off."

Yasir will start shooting for the show from May 7. "It will take a few months for the show go on air as they are still working on the creative aspects. We have also not worked on our respective looks. Since it is a youth show I think I will wear more of causal stuff like jeans and T-shirts which I did not do in my last show. I am going to have meeting with Balaji when I come back after 4-5 days."

The actor says he wants to stick to Balaji. "They have reduced the gap between India and Pakistan by working with us. I have experienced that both the country's people are very nice and that the differences have been created by some self-centred people. I have got so much love here. "

Yasir's family is originally from Delhi and wants to come here to see their old house. The actor played Azaan in Khwaish, his first show.
