Hi All

I am Shaida Ibrahim , residing in the sunny city of Durban , South Africa ,aged 34, married , 2 kids and I am a Khwaish addict and addicted to this site as well. I don't have the words to explain how excited I am to have been able to finally log into this forum. You guys are simply awesome.

I have been browsing this site for about 9 months now, but could not log on and interact with you because I had some restrictions on my computer. I enjoy the interaction between all.

I was introduced to Indian television about 9 months ago, and I have to admit that I have not watched our local channels since.

I would love to request some info regarding the different cultures around the world, for eg…. What TV channels do you have, does only muslin people watch khwaish, is the serial realistic, what is the cost of you logging on , uploading videos and creating siggies…….because I see a lot interaction especially in this forum??? I have visited a lot of other forums but this one is the most interactive one. Feel free to ask me questions as well…

I have to add that last nights episode was awesome again. I have read all your topics posted and I have to agree with all, from Azaan's sad look, to Azaan smiling when seeing Afreen, to him walking right past Sania and looking at Afreen. My best line was when Appa said to Azaan that "Afreen pregnant hai, apahij nahi" – too good…..

I agree with the international scream that came from one of the members from the UK….I screamed too,

No! Khwaish was originally made to be aired on ARY in Pakistan and UAE. But a few weeks after it also started airing on Sony worldwide. The show is produced by an indian production house, balaji. Even though the two families in this serial are muslims, the show is meant for all audiences.

it's as real as any other serial 😆...i mean certain aspects of it are realistic and other aspects aren't. Hadi Hassan forbidding Tambreen from modelling is very realistic of a middle class muslim family. However, the two families having dancing at the sight of the moon isnt (well not in my family or ne1 i know 😆). With every show, there is an extent of reality but in the end it is a fictional show meant for entertainment. I hope this answered your question 😳

Its free 😃. You can log on and post as often as you wish. Also, if you want to request a siggie you can ask for it at the khwaish creativity corner. If you want to share something with us, post it there. All you have to do to watch the videos is click on the link provided by the poerson who uploaded it. I dont know the technicalities of uploading shows from the tv to the computer and putting them here, if you are interested you can ask one of the videobies. Overall, you can enjoy all the features of this site for absolutely free. I have been doing so for over three years and its great 😃

And abt if this serial is only for Muslims, Noo I dont think so. I agree tat i had some difficulty in the beginning to understand urdu as its used soo much in this serial😆😆😆

well for your questions
1)no i don't think so only muslims watches khwaish i am a hindu i am watching khwaish too...all religion watches khwaish i can confirmed that

2)i do have problems understanding urdu because i am hindu but i am learning a new language from khwaish and i am enjoying it....its just same when the indian serials talks in sanskrit and we hindus translate for the muslims friends if they don't understand its like our muslims friends too learning sanskrit(hindu holy language)a new language....learning new things are always a fun...sanskrit or urdu both are holy language and i enjoys learning...one is my mother language(sanskrit)the other is Urdu(a new language)

3)well some are realistic like tamreen modelling desires as a middle class family and afreen dreams of a prince coming in a horse and takes away as a bride but the rest are unrealistic...but in the end its entertainment that makes us forget out tiredness or sadness in life

4)i just love Azaan-Afreen Scenes they have superb sizzling chemistry the best part is they talk through their eyes which makes them a passionate couple....i do like kabir-afreen too but they did not attaract i only used to watch because of yasir(azaan)and afreen and wish they had scenes too...and hotties like salman and mazher
