no he is not they are cousin but they considered each other as brother, and at the beging ing of the show he hold a girl hand with out her permission and didn't want to let her go and afreen step in and told him to leave the girl and when he did he grabed afreen hand and that is when she slap him good so since then he hate her and want to take revenge by pretending to like her sister nasreen hope i help 😳

Medzs is right, Salman is a Casanova, and Afreen happened to catch him misbehaving with a girl. When she made him leave her, he grabbed her and she slapped him. His ego was hurt of course, so when he happened to find out that Afreen is getting married to his cousin Kabir, he decided to take revenge. When he met her sister Nasreen, it all became easier. She fell for his charm, and he has planned to trap her in his fake love and then horribly dump her.
