There can never be any other show as perfect as JLZ... It is the only show I followed right till the end. Tried some of the shows which are currently ruling the charts and cud not sit through an entire episode of even one. Dreading 8th may now.

I feel the golden phase of JLZ was from Aug-Dec and that SaRuv's magic can never be recreated again. Just hope that I get to see another show close to JLZ which I can look forward to watching every weekday. Will definitely miss the show & SaRuv for long 🤔

JLZ had the freshness to start with. The theme, the pairing, the support cast, the locales, the dialogues, the background score, the crisp editing, the superlative acting.. all this was quite fresh and it made the show really attractive to a niche and discerning audience. As someone said in this thread, the freshness was fantastic from August to Dec, about 4 and 1/2 months and then there were moments of losing track.. even in those derailed moments, one could see a different kind of commitment from the cast and crew of JLZ.

I would not venture to say if there will be another show like JLZ or not, but one thing is certain, JLZ is unique in more ways than one. I think the entire cast and crew of this show can go home feeling satisfied creatively.

I have already started De-addicting from JLZ as is recommended by doctors.. for good health. A sudden break will not be good for the emotionally bound and yes, i am emotionally bound to JLZ. Therefore, I do not watch JLZ on SONY anymore. I download it from youtube. Yes, i am angry at the channel for snatching away a gem, but then, i have to live and move on in life... for me JLZ ended the day the last shoot was done. I cannot imagine how i spent the whole day at work - literally grieving as if some part of me was lost.

I shall live with these sweet memories of this short and crisp serial and one which is really close to my heart.

I wish the entire team of JLZ the very best in their creative spheres.

Very rarely we see shows which is the perfect in every aspect. JLZ was one such show, it had everything, perfect cast, story, execution, fantastic dialogues, beautiful locations, sizzling chemistry, romance and above all an amazing cast all in right proportion. There were periods of lag in the show but even then it maintained a pace different from other.
There may be other shows but it'll difficult to recreate the SaRuv and JLZ magic.

Guys, Rose Audio Visuals along with screen writer and lyricist Niranjan Iyengar going to launch a NEW show on V channel named "Jhalli Anjali Ke Toote Sapne ki Amazing Story, from 28th Feb. So, hoping they will create little magic of JLZ.

Those interested can try another old show from Star Plus called Gulaal. It was also about older woman-younger man romance set in rural India. It was directed all through by Siddharth Sengupta who was JLZ's first director too. The PH and writers were same as Balika Vadhu's. Those who saw it say it was the most perfect show they ever saw. As its been with JLZ perfect things are too good to last and this show also lasted for less than a year due to low trps. I am planning to watch the show online now once JLZ ends.
