You are right Jyoti...I am very bitter about Saachi and she doesn't comes across an admirable person anymore. It's not because of this PE instance but as a general practice of putting all blames on her lover is what puts me off. Saachi has never sacrificed for DV but she has sacrificed DV for others...there is a difference. She considers sacrificing everything she has ever had for her loved ones but she needs to understand to differentiate between things and humans.
Somewhere when we see a lovestory ( just try to remember some love stories which you have seen in. Real life too) it's always their understanding and trust towards each other that makes everyone feel for them. How many lovers have you supported among friend who just fight. Also when love reaches a point when lovers can easily die for another then is a love story complete. I am remembering a very passionate song of kailash Kher TERI DEEWANI...where he sings...ishq junoon jab had se bad jaaye...hanste hanste ashiq sooli chad jaye...ishq ka jadoo sar chad kar bole...khoob lagao pehre raste tab khole.
I have invariably developed fondness for love stories and they do touch you within but if their is love and it's also not just in words but in deeds. I have seen Saachi madly in love with her family but not for a day with Dhruv. She seems just too eager to sacrifice him...aaji naani not willing...sacrifice him...DV's momma wants Ankita to be DV's wife...sacrifice him...DV PE owners son who wants to break Saachi's deceased fathers dream...sacrifice DV again. DV chala gaya to kya...aaji naani ki happiness., deceased father ka dream...even DV's mom ki pasand matters more than DV. Where is the passion for love ki kuch bhi sacrifice kar sakti ho Saachi love ke liye...I don't say she severs her other relations but when did Saachi ever even fought for it. Easily mil jaye to theek hai...thodi bhi kisi ko displease karke nahin chahiye. I am sorry but Saachi has till now never given love any value...and I don't think it's the way to love so I get bitter for her.
The very obedient sanskaari Suman stood for her love when her father was not letting Prem even see her in Maine Pyar Kiya.
Simran also confronted her father saying Raj meri zindagi hai baoji...when Raj's identity was revealed and he was being expelled from there in DDLJ...Nisha and Prem were both together as one went ahead to sacrifice their love,...even that depicts intense love in Hum Apke hain Koun...Anjali was standing at the mandap but was not able to raise her feet even an inch when Rahul was standing facing her with tears...she should have married Aman as he did a lot for her but when there is love every other senses gets numb...it's uncontrollable.
I have been a fan of beautiful love stories and somewhere this love story lacks in the passion department. I have to be harsh in my statement but the truth is that when Saachi cries also for DV, I don't get moved...i only feel that Sangeeta is doing a good acting.
What will happen later will perhaps change my opinion about her...as I have loved SaRuv from the initial episodes and was crazy for their chemistry. If Saachi's character gains courage and realisation that love is significant and is not to be sacrificed every other day then I may again start liking it.
I am thankful to you Jyoti that you sensed the displeasure in my posts and addressed it and gave me another way of looking at it and I will surely see it from this angle too. Thanks a lot for your long and detailed reply.
