Me too, we have been married 20+ years and my wife is 1.5 years older than me. I had to face my fair share of opposition/emotional blackmail from my parents and opposition from near and dear ones during initial few years of marriage.

@Moderator1961 - hats off and kudos 👏 and wishing you all the very best in your years to come by. She is your daughter and I am sure she knows what's best for her and you most certainly will do the best for her. Its not for nothing they say a daughter is always her dad's princess and for any father no man is good enough for his little princess. This I am saying from my personal experience. All the best.

I personally know 2 friends of mine who have married younger men and remain happily so and are parents. One set of them have hidden her age though from his parents.

I also have a cousin who has married a man who is 5 years younger than her. Though the family reluctantly agreed (no drama and all that), they left India and settled abroad. Her daughter just got married a week back. So life continues and happily so.
