The problem is not with that of promotion i suppose coz last week we had the maximum coverage in SBB and SBS shows...its only because the maximum TV viewing audience are household ladies struggling in their everyday lives with may be their Saasu maa...their bahu...their nanad...their devar etc...so they relate with these shows more. Also many of them are less or perhaps uneducated so the females in the show wearing saaris with pallu or jazzy artificial jewellery doesnt look out of place to them and somehow they like it. Its the same like selecting a bad govt...when one sits and ponders how this govt came...the answer comes did he goes to vote...those who voted were the majority of population who were promised a day's meal.
It has just happened that the tv show producers understand the audience they are catering and they make shows to sarisfy them and so they have good TRP.'s.
If i talk of myself, i am a working women...and i dont have such time to watch TV so even if there will be shows for me i still wouldnt be able to watch them so despite being good how will they give any Trp's. So producers also think why to waste money in catering to only a specific segment afterall they are here to make money. JLZ got the maximum tweets right at its premier...does every saath nibhana saathiya gets it...Nikhil Advani, Karan Johar, Amitabh Bacchan praised this show but did they speak about ye rishta kya kehlata hai ...that the answer to low TRP's. The day such show starts getting good TRP's believe me it will not be worth watching by all of us.

Dear Members,

We understand that during TRP discussion, other shows are bound to be mentioned. However, kindly avoid taking digs at other shows. You are free to discuss the facts and the number but please keep your own personal views on other shows away from this forum.

We hope for your co-operation.

Thank you,

Isn't this the story always when they don't include the watchers abroad who always go with the great acting(rather )stammering...forgetful actors?
The story is well written and directed with ending as magnificent acting,,,scene setting is also awesome..simple,,and greatly touchy so TRP's is all to do with INDIA and its audience..who need to wake up and watch a decent show when it comes on their package.😡😡</font>

Great post vinee. This is a huge dilemma..Living abroad here we also are extremely selective with what shows we ABUSE😆😆 THE time to watch. Sony is a great channel...most of the times..but of course 90% shows here are ridiculously non nonsensical...When the trp comes its surprisingly for us who are watching these sort of shows/ As an astronomical channel..Sony has a responsibility to educate the viewers..by taking a little loss...at the expense of giving its viewers 90% of the raunchy and shoddy shows.? The amount we pay for the Sony services...WHY NOT SONY!!!
