As most of us already said, today's episode pretty much gave us the vision of the forthcoming storyline. It was an okay episode for me - and not because I expect romance. The episode seemed like Pavlov's experiment to me because of the kissing scene. I mean it was a cute scene, but I didn't feel the connection from any angle. I felt it was done just to entice the audience (perhaps ranking). I preferred the conversation between Saachi and DV prior to the kissing much better than the actual kissing part.

A few things about today's episode

a) I find strange that Sunil went to meet Pradip the next day without having a discussion with his wife (He is Prachi's brother after all). Pradip was not involved in family activities during the wedding and that's something that should have trigerred his mind. And, nonetheless, it would be also safe to assume that Prachi discussed about her brother Pradip to Sunil. So, Sunil should have known his traits, so I am not sure why he ignored it and still decided to go meet Pradip (Sunil ain't that poor). I'm not sure about the rationale in Sunil joining their team so soon. The scene would have more sense to me, if Sunil shook hands with Mr. Goel after their relationship got exposed. I don't know, but I felt this part was hastily done. I

b) What lame siblings! That's all I am going to say about the brother and sister. 🤓

About upcoming storyline: I guess there is an upcoming proposal. Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of asking permission? Even in western culture, the boy usually ask the girl's parents permission before the proposal (as well the boy informs his family). It's a bit strange because Saachi is a girl of principles, so her accepting the ring from DV without ensuring Daadi/Naani are okay with their relationship is odd. May be I shouldn't be jumping into conclusion, as CV may have a creative idea in terms of execution... So, crossing my finger for the upcoming episode.

I'd say a few things in response here:

1) Didn't we always know that the supporting storyline is weak?😆😆 I mean you seriously STILL have expectations on that front?😆😆 Good luck😆

2) Re: the proposal...I don't think this is against Saachi's characterization...obviously she will want her family's approval...but she's not a CHILD...and when she has accepted her love for DV, why will she not say yes to such a heartfelt proposal? Not like DV hasn't given her enough hints before...but to be proposed to in such a wonderful way...ultimately Saachi's heart is like any other woman's...it would melt in the face of so much love.

The time for parental approval/problems will ofcourse come soon after...but why mar this moment with that stuff? I for one am SO glad that DV went ahead and did this for her...it's the kind of wonderful stuff that Saachi deserves after a lifetime of keeping her dreams and desires under lock and key.

3) Re: kissing scene...arey you think that was something to entice? LOL you should watch more Indian shows to know what REALLY gimmicky stuff is...I also enjoyed their convo before the kiss but the kiss itself was also quite simple and sweet...these actors make these things rise above cliches cuz of how effortlessly and naturally they show them.

That is the silver lining in every cloud...lol...the one thing we can usually count on...they always give DV heartwarming and touching lines that make us all melt along with Saachi😆

And it looks like the Land Snatchers' meetings are going to slowly pull us back down to the ground now...*sigh* I wish we could just get rid of Sunil (and Prachi) but then there wouldn't be the added pressure that I'm sure Prachi is going to deliver once she finds out about the land deal. If Sunil doesn't confront Prachi about this, I will be surprised. Those two just make me really grumpy *rolls eyes*. Prachi's "Aren't we going shopping, Naani? Show me those dupattas, Naani, and then I'm going home!" is a nice contrast to Aadu's "You give so much and never get anything in return, Tai..." Yeah, I think my opinion of Aadu rose even more today, while Prachi only sank lower than she already was. Let's see how far this will go.

Naani, bless her! I love how supportive she is of this whole birthday party plan. On top of that, she told Prachi off and that was fabulous! Speaking of Naani...I just remembered how bummed out she was when she rolled up the paratha and Saachi didn't even take it with her 😆 She and Dils were so busy trying to drive Saachi out of the house, something was going to be left behind, haha.

Good day wishes, DV-style! How sweet is this man, seriously? He just strides over to the Prabhu household in the morning and keeps grinning at Saachi until she asks him, "What?" 😆 "Aajkal..." "Jaiyye, jaiyye...Jaldi..." "Huh? Kya? Kyun, kya hua?" LOL, DV takes her by surprise again! "Itna pyaar aa raha hai aap pe...Agar aap ab nahi gayi, na, toh main aapko jaane hi nahi doonga! Aap jaiyye." And then he looks up at her with a grin. Of course Saachi blushes and smiles back with a "Tum bhi, na..." Disarming charm indeed! He's so openly affectionate about these things and I always end up smiling away while watching Saachi react to DV's constant declarations of love through these compliments. The way he says these things, the way he looks at her while doing so...and that smile...everything is so genuinely sweet!

Even when DV tells Saachi to wish for something, her immediate reaction is, "Apne liye? Tum kuch maango" which is so very like her, isn't it? Constantly thinking of others, their happiness, their wishes...and trying her best to keep them happy. So sweet, the way DV looks at her for a moment before leaning in to kiss her cheek! Ruslaan and his smile *shakes head* DV's cheerful attitude is contagious, if not lethal...and it's effortless charm, too. Oh, and I love Saachi's reaction to the unexpected kiss, too! Sangeeta's expressions are so cute and the transitions are fantastic, as usual - the initial shock, followed by oscillations between small smiles and slight frowns to try and keep a straight face, before finally breaking into a smile and glancing in DV's direction one last time...Aww! Resistance is futile, Saachiji!

Ah, and the SBS segment of the upcoming birthday surprise just about killed me when I saw it last night. Just...wow. I don't know what state I'll be in when the scene actually airs, given the unbelievable amount of chemistry Sangeeta-Ruslaan have...

Loved the little touches you mentioned re: Naani and the way they always show Saachi's instant/instinctive quality of thinking about others instead of herself...only DV can really make her give a thought to herself by INSISTING on it😆😆

Re: sidey land snatches...lol...dude now you'll get to know the FRUSTRATING periods of watching this show too...welcome😆...they put in these sidey stories in a very contrived and hurried manner which we have to bear through to get to the meaningful DV-Saachi stuff😆

Also it seems like DV will again pull one of his nautankis where he'll make Saachi think he's gonna kiss her but he'll end up proposing instead😆

Also when the reporter prompts Sangeeta to sing a song for DV, Ruslaan prompts her to sing "Tu cheez badi hai mast mast"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

LOL😆😆😆 saw the video and 😆what full on masti they were indulging in, they are so sweet almost enacted the entire scene for the reporter. Yes, you said it right they said Dhruv for the first time and Saachi said "inhone" so may be we'll get to see her calling him Dhruv after the proposal.
Ruslaan is really a teenager at heart and Sangeeta is equally childish, I guess this is what makes them click together and we get to see that sizzling chemistry on screen. The song bit was so funny, Ruslaan asking her to sing Tu cheez bahi hai mast and the previous day Sangeeta called him eye candy, LOL😉 they tease each other in real too.

But I found rather completely unnecessary rather than just weak. To me, it was random. I just had expectation because till date, they did to justice to the supporting roles.

I am not denying Saachi doesn't deserve all this; by all means, she does and there is no doubt. And, what DV is doing is also a reflection of his personality, as we all know he is spontaneous. We all know if Aaji and Naani say "NO", Saachi will also say no to DV for the time being (that's a given). Now, you really think it's not out of Saachi's character to wear a diamond ring she recently received from her boyfriend that she didnt even bother telling her own Aaji/Nani? She will just randomly sit at the dining table and say "guess what I am engaged?". lol...Even Prachi didnt do that. This is not about right or wrong (obviously it's right), but all I am saying that I personally believe it's out of character. I guess you feel otherwise. 😳

As I said, yes, it was a cute scene, but I didn't feel the connection..And, as for watching more gimmicky stuff, I refrain myself from watching lowest common denominator crap!😛..If you know what I mean! I will stick to shows that are somewhat meaningful in terms of content (relatively speaking)

LOL I agree...they strangely match up mentally...Ruslaan I wouldn't really call a teenager either...he's not THAT boyish...there is a strain of maturity that comes across in the way he talks too...like I'll give you an example of something really trivial...the reporters keep asking him how it feels to romance a woman/actress older than him...and in a recent interview Ruslaan while giving the usual explanation of romance being easy for him etc. etc...goes, "So even if the actress MAY BE older than me" while talking about Sangeeta...now he knows Sangeeta is older than him...but the fact that he still politely enough put a MAY BE in front of that statement was something I found quite gentlemanly😆

Anyways coming back to point...re: Sangeeta...yes she is very fun-loving and girly for her age...I guess that's what keeps her young at heart and it shows on her face too cuz she doesn't look 37😆...a meeting of the minds has happened here despite the age gap😆...the way they keep high-fiving each other like teenagers😆

LOL so you're presuming all this at this point...that Saachi will just plop down onto the dinner table and show the ring and say she's engaged? Let's watch the scene first before deciding what is/isn't out of character for Saachi, no? Obviously she won't just throw this on her grandmas...it's likely that her and DV will end up telling them together.

If you didn't feel the connection, that's fine...not everyone has to...different kinds of emotions appeal to different ppl...I personally quite enjoyed all the sweet bits so far cuz in my opinion they were better than a lot of the cliched stuff I've seen on TV.

I kinda had to make a presumption here to validate my point, because I was not questioning whether or not Saachi deserves it. I kept on indicating "personally/to me" on my post so clearly didn't expect others to feel mutually on this matter. Yes, you're right - this is far better than some cliched scenes I have seen on TV (I dont watch much serials for that reason, so this why I may not be aware of gimmicky stuff).😛

I feel a kind of sensitivity in the writing and portrayal of these scenes...a simplicity...if the kiss was really going to be a gimmicky one, they would have used slow motion and weird close-ups...but they always keep the focus on a lighter, sweeter vibe...which is when I end up being charmed by a scene.

I think some ppl may be expecting more...mature intensity in the romance and that is why might be finding it lacking.

But to me, they are showing a variety of shades to this relationship and that is appealing to me.
