Reason/s 4 Mils' change of mind

What could be a possible reason/s that prompts Mils to change his mind about marrying Ayesha at the aaim waqt?

After causing much tears and pain for Prachi and himself and haranguing himself and Prachi into accepting that he can't dump the woman half way, he goes and dumps her anyway and that too in the most spectacular way...in front of the wedding guests...(so what's new abt that?)

I've been scratching my head over it...tho' lord knows why, but I can't come up with a single explanation except for the most mundane ones like:

He can't bear Prachi's pain any longer

He can't bear his own either

The thought of spending the rest of his life with Ayesha makes him come out in hives!

Let's announce the Telemachus Award (at least, that's what the seer in the paly, Julius Ceasar, was called....I think....the dude who yelled 'Beware the Ides of March!' to JC who did die on that day finally.) for the person on the forum who comes up with the correct answer.

The result will, of course, be declared at the end of the show on Monday!

I think they gave away the reason in that SBS special. He says he does not want to destroy three lives by marrying Ayesha because loving Prachi and knowing she too loves him, he cannot love Ayesha.


So I guess that his reasoning is that if he marries Ayesha, she will not get her love which would make her miserable. Milsi would not get his love, which will make him miserable and Prachi would not her love, which would make her miserable too. Atleast by stopping the marriage two of them can stop feeling miserable (Mi and chi). Too bad, ayesha has to learn to live with the bitter truth that Milsi will never be hers, now or ever.

One may ask why did he not realise that before but then he was concetrating of ayesha's unhappiness little realising that by marrying her and saddling her in a loveless marriage he would not give her any happiness. So he gets his gyan in front of the holy fire.

Strange, in my imaginary FF, (I do that sometimes) that's exactly what Prachi was trying to tell him on the night of the haldi...apart from asking him what she was supposed to do with her life...watch MA together or turn to Neev....things got a little hot and heavy at that point in my imagination....but we'll leave that for another day!

And the only good answer I could come up with was.......that the total humilation of Ayesha in front of all the guest and family is for our ...us viewers benifit....just like the .....Milland walking in alone followed by Prachi....without noticing Ayesha in the hall...after thier C-Night at the beach...😆

Sudha, wonderful question. Yes, the reasons given on SBS can clarify the question in parts, but the question in essence still stands. Why not accept that on the terrrace with Prachi....but they decided to drag it out to the mandap. He carries the guilt over to the mandap and is suddenly free of the guilt because he somehow rationalizes it. Well, it seems like there is no other explanation to this one other than the one given by Krishna. Whatever....I am at a point where I am thinking, just get the job done.

maybe seeing prachi with neev made him realise what he was losing.

Like Opti, said, on SBS it was revealed that that Milind realises that by marrying Ayesha, would bring misery on all 3 of them, and to marry Ayesha would be to betray her as he loves Prachi and cannot spend his life with Ayesha knowing when he closes his eyes, all he sees is Prachi

I personally can't wait for the tamasha that will be made of Ayesha. I know so mean of me. But after the so many humilations Prachi has suffered through the partial amnesia track, finally Ayesha gets her just deserts.

well, if he had realised it earlier, how would they torture us over the weekend? imagine if there was no story leak, we'd have been sitting here with hearts in hand, anxious and worried all weekend, so sure about a MA wedding on monday.

in kayamath all the important things have to happen in full public view - no such thing as privacy.

maybe on monday before milind actually goes down for the ceremony, the mirror milind appears again and advises him against sacraficing michi love? i'm sure there will be some event justifying the change of plan, can only imagine mirror milind doing it right now.
