Hi Sheena...Sirry couldn't read it earlier...But this was really very well written..I had a feeling that the person who is after Milind is Neev... And I was right...! Lol... Its nice to see the way prachi cares for everyone, and her prayers for Sukriti, Baba and Milind in the end was very touching...
I hope Milind soon realises that he has fallen in love with her...!

As Milind stared at her, hoping she wouldn't look up and see him; he saw her lift her hand to her face and put a stray strand of hair behind her ear and noticed that she had no bangles on. He had grown used to the pretty sound they made as she worked around him at the office and at home; he associated them and their pretty sound with Prachi.

The other girl had never worn them; he had heard her say once that she found them to be a nuisance but his Prachi liked them. He knew she had lots of them in silver, white gold, and gold; and the metallic ones in different colors. His Baba had given her a pair as well. Then why hadn't she worn any today. Was she tired of the ones she owned; why hadn't she bought new ones? If I gave her some would she wear them, he thought. He uncharacteristically rushed out of the office, while his assistant stared at him. Where was he running off to like that; seriously she would never understand her boss.

At the mall, Milind saw the shop and rushed into it. "I am looking for silver bangles for my wife; and some in black, green, and blue" He picked out the ones he found the prettiest and said "could you please have this sent to this address?" and giving them his home address he left to go back to the office wondering if she would like them.

Prachi's phone rang again, it was one of the managers.. "Mrs. M, a source tells me someone bid higher for that hotel. The agency won't release the name yet but I'll see what information I can get." "Oh gosh, I'll ask Milind if we should raise our bid since we did bid quite high and I am not sure if we have the backing of our financers to raise it higher. I'll speak to Milind' She hung up and went towards his office when she bumped into someone who was rushing towards Milind's office as well."Can't you see where..." but she stopped when she realized it was him.

Thoughts ran through her mind. Where had he gone; and why was he looking at her like that? Had he gone to check on Sukk; if so then why would he rush in like he wanted no one to know where he had been? She would never understand him. "I need to speak to you Milind, I heard from Mr. Shah that someone bid higher for the hotels. We can't bid any higher Milind, we have no backing for that. "Prachi, I want those hotels in Goa at any cost. How much did this so called competitor bid" "500 Million", she replied. Fine then we bid 750 million. But Milind we haven't that money; how will we arrange it; our budget was 400. "Just do as I say and I shall take care of the rest.

Prachi returned to her office and dialed Mr. Suri's number.."Mr Suri bid 525 for now; I want to see where this goes and let me know of the proceedings. I wish to know where this new bidder sprang up from. And if Milind asks you tell him I am taking care of it. Thank you" She hoped she had done right but she had concerns about this new bidder and she couldn't just stake such a fortune without giving it a thought. If Milind was mad, she'd try and explain but under no circumstances would she put him and his company at risk.

Pachiiiiiii" squealed Ritwick as Milind and Prachi walked in. "Come beta" said Milind and Ritwick ran to Prachi saying, "sorry Ritwick Pachi baby; not mii's baby" Prachi stifled a laugh at Milind's expression while Milind smiled inwardly at how much the toddler loved his pretty wife. He then walked towards sukk's room and noticed that she just sat there staring. "Sukriti, how've you been" No reply came even as Milind tried to talk to her. A sad expression came on his face and as Prachi walked by she noticed it and promised herself that Milind would laugh again, one day soon enough.

Just then she heard ramu kaka, "beta, this came for you and Prachi saw the pretty bag he was holding. "But I didn't order anything then how…" She looked inside to find a few sets of really pretty bangles. "These must have been expensive; who sent them?", she asked. The old cook said "beta the guy who brought them said they were a gift for you from someone." Milind, Prachi thought with a smile; is that where he went when I bumped into him? He got me bangles? Me? No he wouldn't, he doesn't even know I like silver and white gold the most; but these are so pretty. But if they aren't from him would it be right to keep them. "Okay kaka you may go. Thanks" she said.

Milind had watched the scene with a twinkle in his eyes, but as she had turned his expression changed again. But something told him that Prachi knew they were from him. And as she stared at him, he couldn't help but stare back.

love the update Sheena, im so happy milsi got prachi bangles, i guess that is the first gift he has ever bought her 😳

im abit worried about the bid, i hope milsi doesnt lose the bid and blame prachi
