Part 15

Milind stood at the entrance of the restaurant looking lost trying to get a grip on Prachi's last words before she exited the building. His lips were about to break into a smile when suddenly he heard a loud noise which resembled like some brakes screeching. He ran to find Prachi standing in the center of the road infront of a car which had just stopped inches away from her. He took quick steps and got hold of her. Pulling her to the side shouted "Are u mad?? dekh kar nahi chal sakti?? Tumhe kuch ho jata to??"

But Prachi was in no mood to talk to him. She wriggled out of his grip and shouted back "Main jeeun ya maroon, tum se matlab??"

He lost his temper when he found her in that state. She was so mad at him that she ran to the middle of the road without thinking of the consequences. Did she loath him so much that she can't even bear to be near him? He tried to hold her once again when Prachi looked at him in the eye and raised her finger in the air " Don't u dare touch me again. Tum apne aap ko samajhte kya ho?? Jab dil aayega pyar se baat karoge aur jab man karega mujhe daant lagaaoge??" She said with all the anger she had in her.

"Tumhari problem pata kya hai?? Tum bolti bahut ho...kisi aur ko bolne ka mauka nahi deti. Do u even know how I feel?? The day I met you for the first time..." before Milind could complete his sentence , Prachi walked past him towards the others who had just emerged from the restaurant.

"Neev, plz lets go. We are getting late. phir ghar bhi to jana hai" She said while pulling Neev's arm and they walked past Milind who just stood there looking at her cold behaviour. She didnot even look at him. How the tables had turned since morning. It was him who wanted an alone moment with her but she was been tough now. What had happened just in a few moments?? They were sitting together, eating happily, they had even managed to make it through the whole movie. Milind ran his hands through his hair in confusion and anger.

The drive back to the cottage was the longest for both of them. Prachi looked out of the window the whole way, she was too mad to look at Milind. She couldn't believe she had told him that she had fallen in love with him and he had just stared back blank without any emotion in his eyes or his face. INfact he had looked at her in astonishment. What was she thinking, telling an American returned boy that she loves him...She made a utter fool of herself. She had totally lost it today. She closed her eyes and the events of the day flushed before her. It had been a hell of a day of her life. She had wanted his attention and now when he was giving it to her, she decided she was better off.

Once inside the cottage, everybody got busy with their packing. Milind decided to give his luck one more chance and walked to Prachi's room. She wasn't there and before leaving he left a package for her near her bag.

Prachi splashed some cold water on her face and came out of the bathroom. Neev was sitting on the bed playing with his phone.
"Neev, tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?? Plz jaldi apni packing karo, we have to leave." said Prachi. She wanted to leave as soon as possible so that she could go back to her life and won't have to face Milind.

"Why r u so eager to leave all of a sudden???" Neev said looking at her.

"Kuch nahi...just that if we don't leave right away we will be late" She replied.

"I m also very eager to leave..." Said Neev throwing his upper body on the bed slowly with his legs sit dangling by the side of the bed.

Prachi looked at him with confusion..."why r u in a hurry??" She asked.

"Coz Ayesha is here" he got up with a jolt and walked towards her.
"I have never told u about her coz I thought we were not destined to be together. But now she is in India..she is in Delhi. We are gonna meet once again. As soon as we go back, I am leaving with Milind for Delhi to meet her. I have to tell her how I feel about her. Prachi, she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She has such a wonderful smile that lights up the whole room.... " Neev kept going on and on but Prachi had stopped listening when he had mentioned that he liked Ayesha.

Prachi looked at him as if she was in a shock. Did she hear clearly and understood properly?? Milind is not the one who is in love with this Ayesha but its Neev. She then recalled that Ayesha had called Neev not Milind. Her hand covered her mouth in amazement and suddenly she started pushing Neev out of her room.

"Neev go and pack. We will talk later" She closed the door behind her and walked to her bed to gather her belongings.
As she was about to put her stuff in bag, she saw a package. She looked at it in confusion. It had her name on it so it was meant for her. She opened it slowly with shaking hands. Inside she found a white salwaar kameez and a note.
The note had just one line or two, but it shook her to the core.

"I have found my Pari. Just wear this and look at the reflection in a mirror. U will get the answer."

Prachi looked at the note in amazement. She read it over and over again. Was this package meant for her. It certainly had her name on it, so it was meant for her. Was she Milind's Pari??? Why didn't he tell her earlier.

She looked at the beautiful dress in front of her. Part of the fabric was in net. kind of a mesh and it had work done all over it. She decided to change into it. She took it out of the package and wore it and heard something fell. She looked down and there on the floor lay a beautiful silver bracelet. She lowered her body to pick it up. It was a thin silver bracelet which had a small heart shaped piece dangling onto it. She smiled and blushed a little.
She gathered all the stuff and rushed to the bathroom to change into her new dress.

Milind was standing in the garden. He looked lost and wondered if Prachi would accept his gift. He was still in shock over her behaviour earlier. He suddenly smelled her perfume and turned around to find her standing just inches away from him.

"I was looking all over for u and u r here. What r u doing in the garden??" She asked innocently as if nothing had happened between them.

Milind looked at her confused and then suddenly her attire shook him. She was wearing the dress he had earlier bought for her.

"Woh...I was just.." Milind said looking at her trying to figure out what to say now. She looked more beautiful than ever. Her hair were left loose and he noticed the bracelet shining on her wrist when she pushed her hair behind her ear.

"Tumhari problem pata kya hai?? Tum bolte bahut kam ho" She said with a smile.

"U look beautiful.. just like a perfect angel, a Pari" He said slowly as he looked in her eyes. " The day I saw u for the first time, u just took my breath away and my heart skipped a beat. I knew it at that particular moment that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. And then later found out that u r Neev's friend Prachi, I was more confused than ever."

Prachi looked at him "Why didn't you say something??"

"I didn't know how to tell you. I wanted to know how u felt about me before I said something to u. And then today in the restuarant after your little outburst, I knew I had to say do something before its too late" Milind confessed. "So??" He said raising his eyebrows as if asking her approval.

They were standing just 2 steps away from eachother but the distance felt like miles to them. Prachi took few steps to come closer to him, she stood on her toes and placed a soft quick kiss on his lips.

"What was that??" Milind asked

Prachi looked at him in confusion, lowering her eyes with embarrasment she replied "A Kiss"

"You call that a kiss??" said Milind with a sly smile as he touched her chin and forced her to look at him. He placed one hand behind her head and the other on her back as he kissed her gently at first and then with a passion only he knew and Prachi understood. As their lips touched, everything else around them disappeared. They felt a immense rush of fire through their every part of the body. Milind had wanted to taste those pink lips eversince he had first laid his eyes on them. Slowly their lips parted and they caught their breath. They looked into eachother's eyes and Milind took Prachi in his embrace. She felt so much at peace and protected in his strong arms.

They held onto eachother tightly for a long time before they looked at eachother and Milind lowered his face to catch those lips once again. He drew her body closer and placed a strong kiss on her soft lips. Slowly their lips parted and his tongue carresed her mouth slowly teasing and tormenting her. Prachi's arms managed to find their way up around his neck as she pulled him closer and finally her hands disappeared in his thick locks of hair. Finally they pulled back and both were out of breath. They gazed into eachother's eyes and Milind said "I Love you Prachi, my Pari" before he pulled her back in his arms.

Hey Goldy..I'm so glad u updated...This part was really nice and cute....

I really enjoyed these dialogs

Now how cute was that...

And this is soo true....one keeps on talking while the other one keeps on "observing"...lol
