'Car'mic Connections

Cars are in the news. To be specific, the Nano is the subject of conversation cutting across class divides. The super rich want it to gift it to their servants, the MIG wants it for his college going kid and the scooter owner or the autowallah wants to replace his existing vehicle with a Nano.

Our tellystars talk about their own 'car'mic connections.

Jay Bhanushali- I feel my first car is my lucky charm

Which was the first car you owned?
Wagon-R.

What colour was it?
Black.

Do you still have it?
Oh yes. I still have it as I feel it's my lucky charm. After I bought this car I got my first show Kayamath and after that work started pouring in I actually tried changing the car, for a couple of months I was driving my brother's car and I realised that things were not falling in place for me. So I got back to my car.

How did you pay for it?
I took a bank loan. I made a down payment of eighty thousand rupees and pay six thousand monthly.

Do you drive yourself?
Yes, I drive it myself.

Talking about the 'Nano', what do you think of it? Would you buy it?
Umm.. It's an okay car. I don't think I will be interested in buying it. It is a very small car and the power is also not that good. I feel if four people decide to sit in the car then the fourth one will have to push it! Taking the Mumbai roads in consideration which are so bad, it would become chaotic. As many people will buy this car because of its price there will be so much traffic and chaos that I would better travel by train.
