TV star Sanjeeda Sheikh doesn't believe in being true to her name.

For someone whose name means 'serious', she has a 440 watt smile on her face always.

"I am always smiling," she says on a visit to Delhi. The fact that she has won Nach Baliye III and her debut Bollywood film is ready for release obviously helps matters. "Life has been a whirlwind after the show. I and Aamir have performed all over the country," she says.

But it was not that easy to win the show. Reasons: Her boyfriend Aamir's fear of dance, and Rakhi Sawant. "I was mighty thrilled when the organisers approached both of us to participate in the show. But the only problem was convincing Aamir. I had never seen him dance before. So it took some two months of convincing to make Aamir a part of it. But he finally overcame his fear of dancing," confesses Sanjeeda.

And what about Rakhi alleging that the channel had fixed the results of the show? "That was a publicity stunt, nothing else!"

With her debut movie Pankh ready, Sanjeeda is taking the big screen leap too. "This is my first movie and I am really excited about it. It is not the conventional debut, but like I keep saying, 'I feel like Shabana Azmi doing this arty movie'."
