Candyfloss I do not agree with you. I dont think Rajeev could have pulled off Milind. Milind is a far more emotional and volatile character which Rajeev's calm personality could not have pulled off. Rajeev can play well a role which needs to be underplayed, where there are more undercurrents and not much of external display.
Frankly I dont think any one other than Shabbo can do full justice to Milind. That is why Ekta finalised Shabbo for the role long before she even cast any other character. Shabbo may be her friend, but she is a shrewd business woman. She would'nt just cast someone in a role if he is not THE person for it.

Absolutely no one else but shabbir can play Milind...I cannot imagine anyone else as Milind now..Ekta certainly chooses her actors very well....she's given Shabbir the best role any actor could get for his first lead role....Hats off to both of them...
Milind is in safe hands...No one can ever do Milind apart from shabbir!
