Misplaced Priorities

In life there are always so many things to attend to and many of them may be conflicting with each other. The hallmark of any individual is to be able to prioritise these things so that the most important of them is not sidelined by too much concentration on the less important ones. Now going by Prachi's behaviour the past month, one thing is crystal clear. She does not know how to prioritise things.

She needs to know what is important in life. Here her husband's sanity and emotional well being (not to mention their marriage) is at stake and all she can think of is holding on to Suki's raaz because she has promised her that. She also believes that Suki's raaz would be more devastating to Milsi than the lie she perpetrated. But has she realised protecting that raaz is causing much more damage than revealing it could ever do?

Who has benefitted from her secrecy?

Definitely not her husband (that man is in jail now for a crime he did not commit and is wallowing in sorrow over his wife's betrayal).

It cannot be her ex-lover (that man's character has been destroyed by false accusations and his reactions to it).

Is it herself? Defintely not (since not only her character has been sullied but her once happy married life has been ruined).

And yes, what about Suki whose interest and marriage she set off to protect? Again a big NO. Does she seriously think that the truth will remain hidden for ever? If it comes out, I would be surprised if Saket accepts Suki. Her failure to confide in him about the baby raaz (or so he thinks- the telephone conversation cannot be counted) has not only shaken the foundations of their marriage but as also led to the economic loss and character assasination of his brother Neev and the ruin of the marriage of Milsi (whom he considers another brother to him).

So Prachi dear what is it you are achieving? What are your priorities and where are you heading?

Granted that she is a dimwit who cannot see beyond the immediate present. But what I fail to understand is why she has taken it on herself to be the guardian of everyone's life? She may be hesitant to confide in Milsi or Neev about Suki's raaz since both would be affected in different ways given their connection with Suki and Saket respectively. Atleast she could have confided in her mother (who seems far more sensible and who is not directly affected by the raaz). I am sure she would have found a better way to handle it.

So right now I am so angry with Prachi, I feel like just chocking her up, not only for her stupity and also for her foolhardiness.

I absolutely agree that Prachi's unable to see beyond her pretty nose.
Two episodes ago she boldly told Ayesha that the fact that Milind's hurting her so much is a sign of his deep love for her. Accepted. So, why does she think her 'betrayal' will hurt him less than his sister's?

After all, a man, once married, has a more meaningful relationship with his wife than his sister. That's a given.
If the creatives had come up with a more logical storyline like the one you had suggested or even included this baby track with another angle like say....highlighting Prachi's wish to give all happiness to Ayesha as she had promised her father she would, and in that attempt try to alienate Milind so that Ayesha could have him back, it could be understandable!

Remember the day Ayesha tried to commit suicide? While Prachi was trying to revive her she was saying how she couldn't let her father down and that she'd promised to take care of Ayesha and her happiness(Milind looked stunned at that point!)...later she told Milind that she shouldn't have taken a new step in her life with him. Then she overheard Ayesha's declaration and her deep knowledge of Milind. At that time I really expected Prachi to sacrifice her happiness once again for Ayesha.
But no, Bobby Bhosle and gang had to go and mess it up!

I wish Prachi could have handled the whole Sukriti better, as honest as her intentions wer she has quite sadly made a mess of it:( poor Miland is emotionally paying the price of her lie and she too is suffering as her marriage is on the rocks. The consequences of Milsi finding out the truth about Sukriti's raaz wouldnt have not been as devastating as Prachi would have been on his side.

i feel that prachi is runing her own life in her own hands in name of sacrifice....
telling the truth of sukriti baby will not harm anybody in fact milind-mishraji will be angry at her for while than being a brother and father they will patch up back i am sure she can make them patch up back as for saket if he truly loves her he will accept the baby and her as he knows that alaap is the cause of all problem and sukriti only fall in love....

as for neev he wil try advising his brother that there is no wrong in sukriti she only fell in love but with a wrong guy and if saket truly loves her he should accept her because living apart in love it hurts and he is advising because he have went through it....

if prachi tells the truth rather than hiding everythign will go normal but no she wants to be mahaan and risk her marriage and hurt the man who once loved her....

she is worsening all relationship

Yasmin, I feel this girl should best leave the decision taking to someone more superior than her in intelligence or experience. I fail to understand why she did not take PL into confidence. Earlier on she did tell her that she was worried about Suki's marriage since Milsi did not want her to get married to Saket and Baba's health was bad so wanted to avoid a show down. Now the baby raaz is far bigger than Suki's marriage would ever be. And yet she feel she is the best judge as to how it should be handled. That slap that PL gave does not seem to be enough for this dimwit. She needs a sound trashing from the entire Michi fan club.

Yeah I agree she could have and should have talked to PL mum, there is no use pondering over what could have been and how things could have been different, it just saddens me more .....so much so that I want to thrash myself for watching Kyamath. I feel that once this whole Sukriti matter comes out I can picture a scene between PL and Prachi where PL will ask Prachi why didnt she speak to her in confidence. Prachi being the selfless soul she is will say 'main batana chah thi ti, lekin maine Sukriti se vaada kiya tah ke main usko yeh raaz ki bare main kisiko kuch nahin batao gi...bohat majboor thi main' and will sob some more.

when this whole thing comes out i want milind to take prachi inside their bedroom and bash the sacrificing bhoot insdie her ...i am against violence of any sort but this lady has tried and tested my patience beyond comprehension .......then obviosly he can kiss the pain away 😳

what i cannot understand is why is she dragging neev into this fine she has not affirmed abt neev being father but she shld point blank negate that neev is the father why is he being punished especially when she knows milind will destroy neev......i am a die hard michian but what is being dished out to neev is totally unfair....his love and self respect has been humiliated beyond reason....he is the one being royally bounced over by prachi and ayesha whenever their need be ....no wonder they guy has hit back hard

forget priority this girl needs basic humanity,it is a year old baby for crying out loud not a money stealing scam......

I fully agree with you. This is what I was telling myself yesterday. Why should he be made to take the blame along with her. Her reputation is already sullied. Milsi keeps referring to the baby as a nishani of her affair with Neev.

Can she not atleast say that Neev is not the father and that she had it with someone else and that is why Neev refused to marry her? After all they did break up, did'nt they? It would have served as a good explanation why they broke up and would have also cleared Neev's name. She could have blamed it on some faceless person she met in some party and only had a ONS with him and never saw him or heard of him again. Yes, her reputation will surely be in the drain (where is it now?).

Milsi's revenge would then be targeted only at Prachi, and why not, since she was willing to take the blame for her sis-in-law. And Prachi we know will not retaliate. So Milsi would not have been thrown in prison or something. Yes, his emotional torture would nevertheless have been there (which in any case he is going through even now). I would have thought that it would have been the next best possible option available since she does not want to exercise the best one which obviously is to tell the truth and face the consequences. Try and limit the damage if it cannot be avoided. But then again we are talking of sense which nobody in the KYMT universe, especially our SQ, seems to be having.

kimdoel ,we all are dreadingly sure of that something coming up 🤢 .......according to the destructives audience memory span is as useless as them hence they think we already forgot the last one 🤢 😡
