Recap: Prachi finds out that Ayesha is pregnant. Ayesha says that the child is Milind's. She confronts Milind and finds out that he does not know if he slept with Ayesha. He promises to come home as soon as he can, at about 4pm, and talk everything over with her. In the mean time, Ayesha and Prachi have a confrontation regarding the situation.

Part 28:

Milind looked down at his watch, "Great," he thought, happily. It was only 3:30 and he was already pulling into the driveway of his house. "Prachi is going to be happy that I came home as fast as I could."

As soon as the driver parked the Mercedes, Milind bolted from the car and into the house. He was eager to see his wife and explain the whole situation which was troubling not only her, but also him. He also knew that Prachi would be thrilled when she found out that Milind had been successful in inking the multi-million dollar takeover deal, which he had been working on for a while. The meeting today had secured the venture, and Milind's company was now the most powerful hotel chain in all of India.

Quickly, Milind walked into the house, and was surprised to see the whole family gathered in the main living room. Alaap was pacing around angrily, as was Neev. Dadi was sitting with her eyes closed, and Mishra Ji looked lost in his own thoughts. He saw Soumya comforting Premlatha who was looking down at some papers in her hand. Suyesha, Bobby, and Sukriti were also present, and were visibly distressed.

Nobody noticed Milind enter the house, until he spoke up, "What's going on?"

Nobody said a word, as everyone just stared at him with unreadable faces.

"Prachi kaha hai?" asked Milind, starting to get slightly concerned.

This one question was enough to break Alaap's silence. Angrily he ran towards Milind and grabbed his collar. Milind was not in the mood for Alaap's nonsense; all he cared about right now was talking to Prachi. He quickly brushed Alaap aside by pushing him away. "What the hell are you doing Alaap?" yelled Milind.

Alaap stood back from Milind, and yelled, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO, MILIND? TELL ME YOU JERK! YOU HAVE NO BLOODY CHARACTER….YOU AND YOUR DISGUSTING FILTH OF A SISTER"

"ALAAP!" yelled Milind, getting ready to beat the pulp out of him. He lunged to hit Alaap, but Neev quickly grabbed Milind's arm, and prevented him from doing so.

"Neev?" asked Milind, "What the hell is Alaap's problem? Let go of me, I'll teach this idiot a lesson."

"Milind," stated Neev, with bitterness in his tone, "You really are not in a position right now to teach anyone a lesson."

"What is the supposed to mean?" asked a confused Milind. He wasn't expecting to get such an answer from Neev. Over the last few weeks, they had been forming a friendship. So, obviously, Milind hadn't expected Neev to speak this harshly to him.

"I mean, Milind, that a lot has happened in the last couple of hours, and you are in no position to speak! I can't believe that even I was beginning to like you!" yelled Neev.

"What is going on? Where is Prachi?" asked Milind, confused.

"Don't you dare say her name with that filthy mouth of yours you arrogant chawl dweller!" yelled Alaap.

"WHERE IS MY WIFE?" yelled Milind.

"She's gone," answered Neev harshly.

"WHAT?"

"Are you deaf Milind?" smirked Alaap, "She left you. She find out you're a two-timing bas***d, and left you."

"What the hell are you saying?" asked Milind, visibly distraught. "This can't be true? How could Prachi leave me? This doesn't make any sense!" he thought to himself.

He looked over at his father, Sukriti, Premlatha, Dadi, Bobby, and Soumya. They all had tears in their eyes. Premlatha was still clutching those papers in her hand.

"Ma, what's going on?" Milind asked Premlatha, as his voice began cracking with emotion and fear.

Without saying a word, she handed the note over to Milind. Milind read the note in silence, and tears formed in his eyes.

Dear Ma, Dadi, Baba and the rest of the my family (Bobby, Soumya, Sukriti, Alaap, Neev, Suyesha),

I really don't know how to tell you this. First, I want to say I am sorry. I know that this letter will cause you all a lot of hurt, and please, forgive me for this.

I have just found out that Milind and Ayesha have been having an affair, and now, Ayesha is pregnant. I don't know who to blame. I feel angry with Ayesha, and I feel angry with Milind. But most of all, I am angry with myself for being so stupid. I should have known they were having an affair well before now.

I am sorry Ma, but I am not as forgiving and wonderful as you are. You forgave Papa. I can't forgive Milind. I promised myself the day I found out about Papa's affair that I would never allow a man to hurt me like that. I am not going to allow Milind that power over me. As far as I am concerned, my relationship with him is over. I am thankful that I found out about his deceptive ways before he could cheat me further.

I had decided that I need to move on with my life. I don't deserve to be stuck in a loveless marriage, and I have to thank Ayesha for making me realize this. I need to learn how to stand up on my own two feet and realize my own self-worth. I need some time to re-evaluate my life and clear my mind of all the drama that has gone on in this house. As a result, I have decided that I need to leave this house, and this city. I need time to pick up the pieces of my broken life and start new.

I know I am leaving Ma, Dadi, Alaap, Suyesha, Bobby and Soumya in a bad position, in terms of finances. I will try to send money to you guys as soon as I find a job. Please take care of each other. Also, please take care of Ayesha during this time to ensure she has a healthy delivery.

Please don't be angry with me for taking this decision. I hope you all understand.

Milind finished reading the note, and dropped to the ground on his knees. He angrily wiped his hot tears before they left his eyes, and ran upstairs.

"Kaha ja raha hai tu Milind?" yelled Mishra Ji from downstairs.

Milind paid no heed to the question and briskly walked into Ayesha's room. "Congratulations!" he smirked as he stared intensely at her, while she was lying on her bed, "I hear you're pregnant."

Ayesha quickly sat upright on her bed, "Milind, you are the father," she stated softly, avoiding eye-contact with him.

"I know!" he smiled, "I am so thrilled!"

Ayesha smiled back at him as she saw his happy reaction.

"Thank God Prachi left. It would have been really awkward with her still around, huh?" he asked with his smile broadening.

Ayesha nodded in agreement.

This was enough for Milind. Without saying a word, he walked towards Ayesha and grabbed her by the arm. He pulled her outside of her bedroom.

"Milind, what are you doing?" laughed Ayesha, "Where are you taking me?"

Milind still did not say a word. He held her arm and fiercely pulled her with him to the downstairs living room, where the entire family still was. Without hesitating, he opened the main door and pushed Ayesha outside.

"MILIND!" she shrieked, "What are you doing?"

"Get the hell out of my house Ayesha! I don't ever want to see your disgusting face again!" yelled Milind.

Quickly Premlatha rushed to Milind, "She is pregnant," stated Premlatha, "You can't do this to her."

Milind looked at Premlatha, with anger seething in his eyes, "I don't care. She is not welcomed in my house" He slammed the door shut, leaving Ayesha outside.

agr8 chapter CB...poor prachi, she thinks her relationship with milsi was a lie 😭 so prachi has gone to start a new life without milind hope he goes looking for her and finds her soon. ayesha makes me sick 🤢 im soooooooo glad milsi threw her out of the house.
