Ronit Roy gears up for his Rs 15 lakh death scene in Kayamath

Trust Ekta Kapoor to go all out to bring in the TRPs. If one remembers, Ekta had spent a bomb during Ansh Gujral murder episode in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. This time around, Ekta has planned yet another nail-biting episode in Kayamath, which will mark Ronit Roy's death sequence in the show. Reportedly, Ekta will be spending more than Rs 15 lakh to shoot the particular scene that will see Ronit doing a dangerous stunt himself.

The actor has refused to use a body double for the scene. Says Ronit, "It is supposed to be a power-packed action scene and this is all I can divulge at the moment. I am yet to get the brief from our creative head, Nivedita Basu. I am quite kicked about the sequence. I always prefer to do my own stunts and considering the fact that this is going to be one of the most important scenes in the show, I decided to do it myself."

Apparently, wife Neelam is not very keen on Ronit doing such a risky scene. To this Ronit says, "Wives are like that. I trust the action director and have some very good people who will take care of me while shooting. I just have to be little careful and from what has been narrated to me, I think it is a damn good scene. We just have to finalise the date, and we will be shooting any day this week."

Nivedita Basu, creative head of Balaji was not available for comment.
