Prologue

They say that there are two types of people on earth: those who are stupid, and those who are stupider. Often one comes across people who belong to neither category. There are two such people, whom this concerns. They were as different as day and night, but as similar as a flower and a leaf.

They say that fate works in different ways. But maybe there's no greater justification to the phrase "Opposite attracts" than them.

For years, they were best friends, best friends who have supported each other through all the obstacles of life.

They have laughed together, cried together, and every moment they have spent together has been complete bliss.

Then one day, when life presents two different choices, the road which is taken and the road not taken, what if they realize that the person they were searching for was right there in front of them?

What if, by the time this realization strikes, is it too late? Or maybe, fate will help them again to reconstruct the understanding they had once shared between.

They were best friends, but what if love acted as a wall between the mutual compassion shared between the two?

They were best friends, struck by the fateful thunder of love, which might very well destroy them both.

They were best friends, but have they imagined, even in their wildest dreams, that they might be killed by love?

Tagline: This was going to be the best summer ever. The fact that it would also be his last didn't bother him in the least.

the title means "the die has been cast" or "the game has begun"..as you might have understood.. my stories contain a certain amount of angst, and it isnt just a love story.. and if you read enough you might know who is dying in the summer? lol! 😳😛
