The next morning in the college prachi got a message from a unknown no stating her to come to canteen. She ignored it and started to listen the lecture. But again got a message with a bold " now!!!". She cursed sukirit for giving her number to strangers and she is getting the problem, irritatingly she asked "who". "Milind" the message displayed. she replied "I am having class cant able to meet u". finally another message with "face it". The next moment milind arrived in front of the class and take prachi with him towards the canteen.

"What do you think of you?" prachi asked angrily entering like this and taking me to canteen

"Did I message u to come! Why did u ignored?" milind replied with same angry, Atleast for courtesy u should have come to met me

"Why are you here! And what are u doing in my college"

Meanwhile sukriti came to spot

He is our senior in ur favourite department and chairman of this college.

Senior, and chairman! Oh! that why professor dint say anything to him.

"Anyway wht do u want?"

Actually its quite boring so planned to go for a movie, alaap got his pair so thinking of u to join with me replied milind causally.

"Ummmm " (before prachi could say anything sukriti finished) "that's a great idea"

"So meet us after college same place" milind said prachi

"What the hell was that all about?" Prachi asked sukriti once milind was out of earshot

"What, he is the hottest guy in the college and asking you to join what's problem with you"

"But he has too much attitude! the way he asks as if he own everything"

"Why not he is the captain of football and soccer team"

" hey, Don't get wrong about him, I told u abt everything and he is just teasing u, "

"Enough!, no more milind, my class gonna start.

Hearing the bell ring ending the last class, prachi slowly made way to canteen, trying to forget the dreadful, so-called date that she didn't even agree.

When she turned her head for sukriti she noticed a odd expression on her face and started feeling a little worried that she might bail.

"what's wrong sukriti?" she asked with concern.

"Nothing's wrong," she grinned.

"Then why do you look like something is wrong?" prachi demanded.

"Nothing and don't worry I'm not bailing on you,"

"thnk god" prachi sighed

"You idiot," sukriti said angrily. "What kind of friend do you think I am?"

"One who likes to get me into the situation I don't want to be in," prachi grumbled.

"But I helped you to go on a date with the hottest guy in the college," sukriti proudly replied. "You should be happy about this instead of looking like you want to kill me."

"And that's why I want to," prachi grumbled again.

"You know how much I can't stand someone who thinks so highly of himself and yet you agree for me to go on a movie."

"Will you stop complaining?" sukriti said exasperatedly.

"Do you know how many girls dying to go with him?"

"But I am not that type" meanwhile alaap too joined them.

"Would you stop?"sukriti glared prachi seeing milind approaching them.

"Hey all." Milind grinned. "Are you guys ready to go?"

"As much as we'll ever be," prachi said, plastering a fake smile and earning an elbow by sukriti in her side.

"Hey prachi?" milind asked as prachi bent down to pick up her bag. "Do you want me to carry your bag for you?"

Prachi stopped to stare at him, a little taken back form his actual nice gesture.

"um' ah'no'.its"

"I think she means yes," sukriti grinned over prachi shoulder.

As milind took the bag from prachi and slings it over his shoulder, prachi couln't help but wonder what is going on? I don't think he's even been gentleman-like to anyone like this before.

"Not everything is what it seems," milind whispered into prachi ear, answering her own mind question as alaap drags him out the door.

Prachi stood there for a quick sec to let his words sink in. okay, so I will admit that true, I haven't actually seen him act like a jerk to others, by from what I've heard at least, how can I not speculate it any of these are true? What should I believe?

"hey prachi!" sukriti yelled, "are you coming or not?"

Shaking her head out of her reverie, prachi inwardly let a out a quiet sigh and head out the door.

Prachi kept quiet even after walking out of the college, trying to decide who to believe, everything she heard of milind over the months, that she didn't realize she was already near milind's car. She was little shocked at what she saw in front her. Milind had a ford fiesta car, she thought he would have some kind of flashy sports car like lamborghini, but instead he is driving a dark blue ford fiesta.

"I thought he would be driving something more fancier than this," whispered prachi to sukriti.

"shush," alaap whispered as he elbows her in the side.

"I know what you girls are thinking," milind said nonchalantly, closing the door. "You are probably wondering why a guy like me is driving something so normal Right."

"Well, may be a little," prachi answered,

"I think what you drive shouldn't define what people should think of you," milind explained. "True, I could have brought some kind of sports car'"

"Like a Lamborghini or something," prachi mumbled. "The rich pri-"

"'. But then I would be just hiding how I actually want people to see me," milind continued, ignoring prachi's comment. "I don't want people to like me because of the kind of car I drive. I figured that if I drive something so common and even sensible, and then at least may be people can at lease give me a chance to prove that I am not really the prick everyone says I am."

Prachi's heart started to beat a little faster and she couldn't help but have a uneasy feeling that milind was actually directing that comment to her. Instead of checking to see if that he is staring in her direction, she just kept her gaze out of the window. She still couldn't help but continue to think about everything she heard about him, and wondered if he is putting an act for her.

Finally giving up since her head started to hurt, when she look up they have arrived at the theater.

Prachi hop out for the car, and start to get lost at the beautiful, picturesque scenery in front of her.

It's a perfect day out, where the whether isn't too cold for a late fall afternoon, the sun just getting ready to disappear behind the mountains.

"Wow!" she breathlessly said.

"its beautiful, isn't it?" milind whispered, grinning as he stood next to her.

"It really is," prachi grinned back.

"There is a place I like going to that is even more breathtaking than what you see here," continued as the two of them watch the sun finally set. "maybe one day I can show it you."

"May be," prachi said with a little hesitant.

"So are we ready to go in?" sukriti asked as she approached michi, tugging alaap by the arm.

"Let's go then," milind said.

The four of them head in the theater. Just as alaap and prachi were about to whip out their wallets to pay for the tickets, milind put his hand up and told them he will treat them to the movie. And head towards their seats.

"You really didn't have to do that," prachi hissed to milind.

"Yes I did," he replied. "Remember, I'm the one who asked you out on this friendly date.

"Um-" prachi began and was cut of by sukrithi

"Hey you two," she yelled. "Let sit here."

alaap took a seat at the corner of the row and sukriti seated next to him leaving prachi to sit middle of sukriti and milind.

As soon as the film started sukriti and alaap began to talk forgetting prachi, and with no other option prachi started to turn toward milind.

Sensing prachi seeing him, what prachi? milind questionied

"Im'.nothing"
