I love ghazals , and Jagjit Singh's voice was made for them - and this track is wonderful.Yes Milind has indeed come a long way and the thing is he was not really doing anyone a favour. In trying to spend more time with his wife, he learnt to love her interest too.
I remember the first time I fell in love with ghazals - when I was at uni, I couldn't get enough - my ears were constantly connected to the pure and senuous voice of Pankaj Udas - my all time favourite - I've always been a hopeless romantic😒 I'm a hopeless romantic as you know by now.
Hmmm I would have loved to have joined these guys for breakfast - Prachi and her mouth watering dishes - poor Ali always gets told off by his wife wife - I can't blame him - I'd be the same - well at least he's providing good entertainment for the young ones. Ali can never goet enough of food.
At last another huge common factor - loving children. Yes Milind is slowly realising the commonalities which he wasn't aware of before. Well Opti who says that these FFs are a waste of time (my family ) - I learn something new all the time - I didn't know that this is what Ghazal meant - that's beautiful. Ghazals are certainly the most beautiful way of reciting heartfelt poetry, but it's imperative to have the most melodious voice in the world to sing them and as Prachi says it is important to listen to them in the right mood and the correct ambience to enjoy and appreciate them to the max, thanks for the GK behind them - interesting. I learnt a lot in trying to find material for this update. While I always loved ghazals I did not know much about them. So had to really do some good hunting.
What a mindblowing ghazal Prachi picked as their first one together, and the second one was also mesmerizing - thanks for reminding me of these tunes Opti - I haven't heard them for such along time - I'm going to try and cut a CD of all my favorites and listen to them in the car when I'm driving - I love listening to soulfull music when I'm driving especially on my own. Glad I was able to revive your old memories.
Again Prachi is right - the Urdu language is mezmerizing and poetic in itself - one word can convey many meanings and emotions. I dont understand the language but it sounds so beauty to the ears!
Milind nowadays is in constant awe of his wife and her passions for the things that she loves and cherishes. He is more open minded towards their relationship and now he is able to see the things she is capable of rather than what she is not.
Opti I haven't heard this Ghazal from Prem Geet for ages - my dad used to play it alot when I was little. How sweet Milind fell asleep on Prachi's lap listening to these melodies. What an apt song Milind has chosen as one of his favourite for reasons that are the dearest to him regarding his beautiful wife.
Thanks Opti for taking us down memory lane with these wonderful tunes - I especially feel even more relaxed today since it's Sunday and today I'm totally free of any chores or visitors or going out, which beleive me is extremely rare in my life - it's going to be a nice relaxing day in!! I'm happy to have made you happy and relaxed with this update.
