The original concept talked about "changing relationships". Maybe Alaap's & Suki's relationship went from infatuation/love to hate to love. Suki & Saket may have gotten a divorce and if Alaap has changed...then it is quite believeable that he married Suki.

I never understood why Alaap was so hell bent on breaking up Suki & Saket. It just seemed too OTT to me.

Another angle.....when Prachi phoned from Kolkata....the servant said she was calling the 'Sharma House' and not the 'Shah House'. Could Suki have married a Mr. Sharma in the last 5 years after divorcing Saket??
