Kaswetta, it's a festival celebrated by Hindus. Sikhs and Jains (may be Buddhists too). It has many mythological stories associated with it. In short it represents the the victory of good over the evil and celebrated with lighting lamps and firecrackers. It's called the festival of lights (diwali itself means row of lights). It's one of the biggest festivals in India.

@Yas, I really want to see Milind-Sumonto-Prachi celebrating Diwali in their home. I want a scene where MIlind teaches his son how to safely light flowerpots etc... while Prachi watches them lighting up lamps..
