I learned the greatest lessons of life from my father between the age of 6 and 12. So...i don't think Chotu has lost much. Kids usually don't have a conscious memory of their life until after 4.

More than Chotu Milind has lost the best years of parenting. I guess 1-3 is the cutest time for parents as the kids learn to say "ma, papa" and every single thing and parents have the greatest joys watching it.

Sangs do you agree?

I think Michi would be perfect parents though the child will have values both integral and important given to him by his mother he'll have courage and conviction in getting his work done like his father. The world is not a goody goody place ppl like Prachi are very less keeping in mind Milind's lone struggle to the top he knows a lot of things Prachi does not. So I'm sure with the experiences both have had in life their child will have a balanced life. And no he won't be a gunda because I don't consider Milind one either.

I understand your fret both of you..... I think it was cruel that it was taken away from him specially since he had always dreamed on being a father and being able to see his baby grow up and now it's all lost. I hope Michi have other children too so that Milsi may live those moments in them.

Yes Sangs, a 5 year old is no match for a 15 year old. So too, a 15 year old is no match to a 35-year old. Two wrongs don't make one right. Milsi should have dealt with adults, be it the principal or the boy's family but then Milsi is what he is. That is why he would flop as a single parent just as Prachi will.Michi complimented each other as a couple. I am sure they will compliment each other as parents too.

Opti this reminds me of the movie Jaaney tuu ya jaaney na Imran Khan's mom never let him fight while his father haunted his dreams instigating him to fight. In the end Imran ended up fighting nonetheless so in the end Sumo will follow his father's foot steps his temperament is exactly like milind's. Even before Milind adviced him to pay back to that fatso Sumo had indulged in a brawl with him ending up being beaten by the fatso. So even if the entire D family were to tell him that he was indisciplined he'd have followed his heart just like his father. Milind never really stopped from beating the pulp out of people even though his Baba never encouraged him same goes for Sumo he'd have fought whether Prachi liked it or not it's in his blood and system it's part of him that fiery streak he's inherited it by birth.

Munee I thought about the same thing when I watched today's epi. Loved Naseeruddin Shah as Imraan's father in that movie (to me Naseer was teh best part of the movie).

I dont agree with you Munee. Milind's childhood is very different from Sumonto. While some qualities are inherited others are governed by your surroudings. Being raised in a chawl where there are countless bullies and without the calming influence of a mother, Milind turned out to be more violent than he would otherwise have. a lot of that violence was curbed after he fell in love with Prachi and she influenced him in her unobtrusive way, a fact he acknowledged at the hospital balcony after their misunderstanding. Livig without Prachi all these years must have got back that streak in him. That gives no justification for Sumonto to end up like him. His circumstances are definitely not the same as his father's.

I would want Sumonto to have the best of both world's too...he would benefit from a balance of Prachi and Milind's approaches. But I feel the creatives have shown little of Prachi's approach, they have not focused on Prachi's parenting skills as much as I would have liked them too.
