Sonia, two individuals who have lived their lives for 20-25 years seperately and come together in marriage have enough and more problems to adjust to each other's life style and ways of thinking. If marital problems is what they need to show, they can very well show these without repeatedly bringing in the third angle.
Before the leap they had a golden opportunity to create misunderstandings between Michi when they showed the budding romance between Sowmya and Ranvir. Since Milsi trusted Ranvir, he would have approved of their match. Prachi on the other hand could have been shown to have doubts about his character (because she suspects him of the murder attempts) and be against the match. If well executed, this track in itself could have been shown for 4-6 weeks.
If at the end of it, Milsi loses his wealth to Ranvir, the chawl track could have begun and the problems of a young couple with a baby on the way adjusting to economically poorer conditions could have been another track which could have kept them occupied for and 4-6 weeks.
The return of Milsi as a business tycoon at the end of the track could have been an appropriate time to take a leap when the conflicts between Michi in raising their son could have been at the focus, padded up with troubles for Milsi in bis business with the arrival of a new business rival. So there are so many logical and perfectly sane ways of moving the story instead of always resorting to the tried, tested and failed formula of triagles and parellograms but then to do this the creatives need to always be wearing their thinking caps. Unfortunately they are either too lazy or just dont have the capacity to think. So they end up using all the short cuts in book, not bothering to see whether their characters act consistently or not.

Vasu, I don't agree with you. Adultery is not as common as you make it out to be. Most marriages are still monogamous and faithful spouses are not so difficult to find.

BTW Shuba...i grossly disagree with your post. Prachi's punishment???
Doesn't she deserve some punishment for her mistake??????

"Sumonto (I hate the fact the child has to know dirty secrets) can tell his mother that he hates her for keeping him away from his daddy and trying to make his daddy go away again."

Sumonto is a 4 years old kid...ok maybe 5. As far as he knows Proteek is his father. He has had no bonding with Milsi other than that he gave him blood and therefore must be a nice uncle. You think a 5 year old will and should react like that...the kid won't even know whats going on around him.

Prachi had no right to keep the kid away from his father who was alive. She had no right to bring a fake father either. Why should Milind be denied of his fatherhood (which already has been denied for 5 years). Milind and Sumonto wouldn't take long to bond... and how do you explain the the kid why he is taken away from his mother? Both Suprateek and Sumonto are unfortunate kids who are caught in the fake drama created mainly becasue of Prachi. I did say I hate the fact that Sumonto has to know all these things. But if you have a better idea to separate him from his mother I would welcome it. I really really feel sorry for the both kids. It's not fair to make a kid say he hates his mother. But his mother has done something rarely any mother would do. And in a way it;s better for the kid to know the truth now itself than building another fake drama and it will also save the kid from soomeone telling him the truth tomorrow and the kid assuming all sorts of things.

And then what if Milind had walked away in the night from DG house to continue with his search for Prachi int he wee hrs of yesterday morning? Sumonto and Milsi would have lost the chance to see each other for a lifetime. And Prachi would have continued with her fake life (that's what she decided right?).

"Then Prachi can be left alone in the big bad outside world where she has to struggle without anyone, earn her own bread and realize and appreciate the meaning of love, companionship, truth and values of life. "
That just has me shaking my head in disbelief.

Why disbelief??
I am talking about a Prachi who left a pleading Milind, who didn't bother to tell her family she is safe after a bomb blast in the train she is travelling, who is faking a marriage and a whole lot of relationship and more recently she is the same Prachi who didn't bother to bring her back to her husband who has been searching for her for 6 long years leaving everything behind.

If at all she can establish herself with self respect and without trying to find resort in another man or house, Milind can consider getting her back in his life.
No thanx Shubs...I think Prachi has established that she may be miserable without Milind but she can surely survive it without him. Milind doesn' t need her in his life. He should just take his kid and leave her to her condition.

Well, yes, it was Milind who was miserable without Prachi. Yes Prachi has established she can survive without Milind.. but how? By faking relationships and in a way cheating so many people. Now she doesn't have a face to show Milind. If she had survived on her own and stood up today, when Milind had met her, she could haev proudly told him she was waiting for him too the same way he was waiting for her and introducing their kid to him only as a pleasant surprise. I was giving a chance to Prachi to survive without lies and fakings and establish herself truthfully. But if you think she doesn't want to do that, then Milind is really unfortunate as he can't live without her (we know how how he lived the last 6 yrs).. but will have to for the sake of his son.

No please, no more cross and fake marriages.. enough is enough. One fake marriage has killed Kayamath.

Well Yasmin, that apology should have come right then when she met Milind in yesterday's episode. Unfortunately her brains worked differently and she is worried more about how to save her face than how to save Milind's life. Hence she requires a lesson in life which she has to learn on her own in the big bad world.
Until now she was always protected by her dad, Neev, Milind or Proteek.

What really gets to me is her indifference to her husband.... why... I mean I need a reason for this behaviour. Dimagh kharab ho gaya hai iss larki ka. Was he not the one for whom she fretted six long years never let proteek think of anything else of her besides a friend or ab jab woh saamney hai to no reaction ....kyun? Is her duty to the new family so important? What does she dread? Confrontation.... does she not know him well enough to understand that he will accept her with open arms once he knows the whole truth. He's yearned for her for 6 long years yunhi jaaney deyga ussey? Why not tell him the truth can he not believe her? Why would he assume the worst of her? Would he not accept Sumonto as his blood? She's got DNA to prove that but I don't think he would ask if she explained it to him beforehand. But no the woman is hellbent on ruining it all, making him suffer though another heartbreak of seeing her as Mrs Proteek.
