Good question. I think that seeing the pendent...and having the suspicion that Milind is roaming around pennyless and family-less..she first wondered where is Mallika and if Milind is thus lonely it means Mallika is not with him...and that thought probably entered her head for the first time in 5 years...cause until she got that pendent...she was thinking Milind has moved on...so in this case...i guess she really is now worried about Milind's wellbeing and wants to meet him to know whats happened to him...she tried calling Shah house but no use...so the only way now is to meet Milind. Does that answer your question.
