3 months later...

kavya nervously waited holding the pregnancy kit in her hand..

her phone rang and she left the kit to take its time..

It was Malini's call.. "Ji maa?" kahan ho kavya hum kab se call kr rahe hai?" malini asked.. "Maa wo hum wo" kavya tried to find an excuse.. "busy hogi sorry lekin time uthalia karo na bahut chinta hoti hai" said Malini, "Hum theek hai ma, aap sunaiye kaisa lagraha hai apko Maasi ke sath darjeeling me?" asked Kavya.."Bahut acha hai beta, bachpan ki yaadien tazaa hogayi" said Malini, "acha Adhi kaisa hai? uski speech suni thi kal, bahut achi lagi" said Malini, "haan ma wo theek hai lekin aaj kal bahut busy ho chuke hai" complained kavya.. "koi nahi meh wapas aaker usko daant lagaungi" said Malini.. "Nahi ma aisa nahi bas chinta hoti hai" said Kavya in a concerned voice.. "tum batao aaj office nahi gayi?" asked Malini.. "nahi ma aaj wo public holiday hai na" said kavya.. "arey haan hum to bhool hi gaye.." acha theeke tum rest kro hum shaam ko call krenge Adhi ke aney ke baad" said Malini.. and disconnected the call..Kavya was missing Adhi as she was all alone at home, but not just today it had become usual.. Adhi used to come late almost when kavya was sleepy and tired and sleep till late in morning where as kavya had to leave early.. days had passed that they have talked to each other properly except for the necessary..

Kavya out of loneliness felt the necessity to have a child.. reminding her that she had to check the kit.. she hurriedly went to the washroom and picked up the kit closing her eyes.. she prayed and slowly opened her eyes to find the beautifull present of her life it was positive.. for few seconds kavya froze out of surprise, she tried to get back her breath and jumped in happiness but realised that may be she is not supposed to do that and calmed herself down by taking deep breaths.."Hum maa banne wale hai?" she mumbled trying to hold her excitement.. "Adhi kaash tum hamare sath hote abhi" Said kavya missing his presence.. she hurriedly licked up the call and dialed Adhi.. the phone was picked up by his PA informing that Adhi is busy in meeting and asled to inform her about his sudden trip to Mumbai for a party meet and wont be coming home tonight.. Kavya was diheartened and disconnected the call, tears started flowing as she realised how lonely she was at that moment, she searched for her call log and saw malini's number to call and share the good news but felt that the one to know the news first is to be Adhi so she cancelled her plan and threw phone in frustation.. the whole Pradhan Nivas had no one she could talk to or complaint she thought except for few maids.. kavya thought of visiting Bansal house, to see Rajeev and Anjali but again she didnt want to reveal the good news to anyone before Adhi.. Kavya sat down and saw their photo frame on table she picked it up and hugged it as tears rolled down.. she dreamt of Adhi sitting next to her and grabing her sideways for hug.. "Kya hua Bansu?" asked him.. while Kavya nodded as nothing "Naraaz ho humse?" asked Adhi for which she nodded positively.. Adhi smiled and lifted her chin.. "Hum to tumhare dil me rehte hai na" he said.. kavya took a deep breath and tried to hold her tears but they became unstoppable now.. "since how many day you didn't cuddle me, called me Bansu?, hugged me, kissed me?" she asked in between her sobs.. Adhi just kept looking at her with a smile.."tum ho lekin sirf hamare sapne me, sach me pata nahi kab se tum ko theek se dekha bhi nahi" she complained and looked at Adhi but he was gone.."ab to tum hamare sapne me bhi akela chodke chalegaye" she cried..

she heard some one calling her and opened her eyes realising it to be a maid and she was asleep.. "Didi aap ro rahi ho?" asked kajri (the maid) kavya nodded no "Hume to neend laggyi thi" she said "aap theek ho na didi?" she asked with concern.. "Haan haan theek hai hum, hume kya hua hai?, kya kaam tha bolo" asked kavya.. "Kuch nahi hum kamre ki safai krne aye the aapke band ankho se ansu girte dekhe to hum thoda darr gaye the" said kajri.. "arey kuch nahi wo thda ankh me jalan horahi hai usi ki wajah se hoga" said Kavya and got up to take out clothes for a shower while kajri resumed her cleaning "Didi aap pregnant ho?" Kajri screamed of happiness giving kavya goose bumps, kavya realised that she had left the positive kit on the table and sheepishly smiled at Kajri, "haan" she accepted.. "Badhai ho didi" said her hugging kavya, kavya felt nice on her gesture the first congratulations from her.. "Bhaiya ko bataya? she asked.. "nahi tumhare bhaiya mumbai jaa rahe hai, kal jab wapas lautenge to bataungi" said kavya..

"aur suno.. jab tk me tumhare bhaiya ko na batau ye baat kisi aur ko nahi maloom honi chahiye" warned kavya, "kasam didi nahi bataenge" promised Kajri and resumed her work humming songs in happiness, while went for her shower...

Next day morning

she stood in front of the mirror caressing her belly,

Adhi kaise bataye hum dono pregnant hai' she rehearsed, "nahi aise nahi.. kya hogaya hai kavya tujhe apne hi pati ko batane ke liye itni nervous kyu horahi hai" she mumbled.. " pooch to lu ke kab tak ayega" said kavya to herself and dialled Adhi.. finally the call was answered by Adhi himself but before she could even say Hi Adhi started talking..

"Haan janeman sorry hum tumhe khud nahi bata sake kal ke hum mumbai jaa rahe hai lekin abhi yahan kuch der ka kaam aur hai.. bas ise khatam krke ajaenge dopahar tak tumhare pass.. abhi hume jana hoga please, hum ghar akey baat krte hai" said Adhi disconnecting the call with out even letting her talk..

"kya yaar Adhi na phone pe baat krte ho na samne hote ho tab" she cried and took her saree to get ready for the day..

She completed her file work and looked at watch it was 12.30 with an estimation that Adhi might have reached lucknow she dialled his number but it was still switch off indicating he was still in flight.. kavya started having mood swings now.. she wanted to go and meet a doctor but not alone she wanted to with Adhi.. she scrolled through her phone unintrestedly when pune came with her tiffin box.. "madam lunch time khatam hone se pehle khalijie"he said.. kavya realised it was almost 2 and she didnt even realised.. her mood was still bad and she didnt feel like eating at all.. "Kaka ek kaam krie ye tiffin aap khalijie.. hume bhook nahi hai.." said her "lekin madam" said pune " koi nahi, hum subah kha ker aye the.. ye aap khalijie" said kavya and resumed her work to distract..

she called Adhi again at 4 hoping that he must be home by now but this time the phone was answered by his PA pissing Kavya more.. "madam ji.. sir is attending the last meet with central minister he said he will call you after the meeting" informed the PA.. kavya disconnected the call and in anger swtched off her phone and threw it on her desk breaking it.. she realised what she just did and again picked up her phone and tried to restart but it didnt and its screen was already broken.. she got more frustated almost in tears but controlled and resumed her work, but how hard she tried she wasn't able to concentrate.. but kept pushing herself to do it as it was the only option for her to keep herself busy, eventually she fell asleep on her table it self.. when the office got empty and pune came to check if all the lights were off realised kavya sleeping and woke her up.."madam aap ghar nahi gaye sab already jaa chuke hai" said pune.. kavya realised it was already 8 and nodded positively assembling her things.. she looked at her broken phone and asked pune to give it for repair.. she asked for the driver and left..

it was almost 9 by the time she reached home due to traffic... she was hell tired which had become her usual may be due to pregnancy she thought and entered home.. she was still not sure of Adhi had come home or not.. she asked the staff for his arrival and they gave her a positive answer.. kavya felt happy to know that Adhiraj was finally home and excitedly walked to the room.. when the staff called her from behind.. "Madam sir keh rahe the apko batane ke lie ke bahut thake hue hai islie dinner krke so chuke.. apko dinner krwane ki lie bolkr gaye hai" said the staff.. Kavya felt as if something was piercing her heart she forced a fake smile to the staff and denied to have dinner making an excuse that she already ate in the office.. the staff obeyed and cleaned the table..

Kavya entered her bedroom to find Adhi who was in his deep sleep almost smoring out of tiredness.. kavya again had tears and she started scolding herself for crying on simple things.. some how she controlled them and changed into something comfortable..

she kept turning sides on bed as she wanted to hug Adhi and cuddle.. she came near him and gave an attempt to wake him up but Adhi in his deep sleep mumbled.."please kavya sone do, bahut thak gaye hai yaar" he said

kavya felt bad and felt like crying out loud but with the fear of Adhi getting disturbed went to the terrace to get some fresh air as an attempt to feel better...

"Didi?" called Kajri waking her up.. kavya realised she had been on terrace the whole night slept on the swing, she looked around if Adhi had come searching her.. "aap yahan kyu soi hai?" asked Kajri out of concern." nahi neeche acha nahi lag raha tha to yahan fresh air lene aye the pata nahin kab neend laggyi" said her.. "Time kya hua hai?" asked Kavya 9 baj rahe hai" informed kajri.. "arey hum itni der tak sogye..tumhare bhaiya kahan hai?" asked kavya.. "wo to subah subah tayyar hoker chale gaye" said kajri.. kavya took a deep breath and tried to accept the fact that Adhi didn't even bothered when he didn't find her anywhere..

She got ready for her office as it was already late.. she looked at herself in mirror and realised the changes in her face the dark circles and tired face.. "Chal kavya kab tak Adhi ke intezaar me rahegi, doctor ke pass shaam me ho hi atey hai" mumbled to herself.."Didi nashta laga dia hai" informed kajri as kavya was about to leave.. "Bhook nahi hai kajri.. theek nahi lagra humko.. rehne do" said kavya showing disintrest to eat..

"didi apne lie nahi nanhi jaan ke lie to khana pdega na" reminded kajri making kavya realised that its long she had eaten something so she took an apple and showed it to kajri that she will have it.. and left..

kavya was arranging files when felt light headedness and went back to her chair.. "Are you alright Kavya?" asked surrender, her collegue.. "Haan I am good, chai mngwado na shayad neend arahi hai hume" said kavya.. Surrender agreed and ordered pune for a kadak chai..

pune came with tea and handed over her repaired phone.. kavya thanked him for both and switched on the phone.. getting continuous notifications since yesterday.. she searched if any message belonged to Adhi.. and finally got one..she felt happy to see Adhi's name in messages and opened it.. "kahan ho kavya phone switch off kyu hai? anyways ye batane call kr rahe the ke shaam me dinner pe wait nahi krna hume kisi ke ghar pe dinner ke lie jana hai.. see you at home" read the message.. kavya couldn't understand why it was happening and took a deep breath.. she looked at the tea and didnt feel like having it anymore.. she asked pune to take it away.. surrender felt suspicious and enquired if she is feeling okay?" kavya noded positively.. " hum aaj jaldi jaenge.. doctor se milna hai" informed kavya to surrender "sar dard ke lie" he asked.. "h..haan.." said kavya confused.. surrender nodded positively..

kavya got engrossed in a file and didnt realise that it was already time for appointment.. "kavya tumhe doctor ke pass jana tha na? its already 7" reminded surrender making kavya realised.. "Haan sorry bhool gye hum, thanks yaad dilane ke lie" said kavya and packed her bag.. she felt dizzy getting up from her seat, but ignored claiming it to be due tue sleepiness,

she informed driver to take her hospital..

"Sorry madam its 8 already and Gynac madam left" informed the receptionist.. "ok.. sorry I wasn't on time" said kavya and decided to come back tomorrow.. "thoda pani milega? asked kavya to the receptionist as she felt dizzy again.. receptionist nodded positively and asking her to wait went inside to get water.. kavya could feel everything shaking and unable to sustain more fell down unconcious..

the receptionist on realisingbher state called for emergency doctor and took her to emergency room

At Pradhan Nivas

kajri was roaming to and fro as kavya had not return.. she remembered her face which didn't look good in the morning..

Adhi entered and saw kajri.. "Kya hua tum abhi ghar nahi gayi?" he asked.. "Nahi hum didi ka wait kr rahe the" said kajri.."Kavya abhi ghar nahi ayi?" he asked checking the time.. while Kajri nodded negatively.. "10 baj rahe hai, itni der to nahi hona chahiye" mumbled Adhi and dialled kavya.. but it remained un answered.."tum jao kajri.. me dekhta hoon" said Adhi, kajri was confused whether to reveal about kavya or not as she had promised to not tell anyone anything.. " bhaiya didi aj kal bahut kamzor lag rahi hai, " uttered kajri.. "Acha?" asked Adhi.. "theeke tum jao.. me call krta hoon use" said him again dialingbher number.. kajri looked at Adhi but as he asked her to leave for the second time she didnt feel right to stay back and unwantedly left as it was too late..

"unanswered?" mumbled Adhi as call again got disconnected after a long bell.. he got another call from the central minister asking him to discuss about tomorrow's proposal..Adhi didn't realise time in his discussion..

once he disconnected he checked if kavya had tried to connect to him but got worried on not finding any sign.. he called her driver, who informed him that he was waiting outside hospital as kavya has asked him but didn't return since last 3 hrs.. Adhi looked at time it was almost 11.. "hospital??" adhi got worried.. and started his car driving towards the location..

he enquired about kavya at reception and was informed about the incident.. they guided him to kavya where she was still unconcious and on drips worrying him more..he asked for the doctor and a lady doctor came near him introducing her self, she asked him to come along till her cabin as she had to share something important about kavya.. Adhi agreed

"Mr Adhiraj Pradhan kya apko pata hai ke kavya is 3 months pregnant?" asked doctor.. while Adhi looked shocked rather surprised and nodded negatively..

"well she is 3 months pregnant and severly dehydrated and malnourished" said the doctor.. Adhi was still confused about the news and couldnt react to the present situation.. "Abhi kaisi hai wo?"asked Adhi.. "theek nahin hai..jab tk hosh nahi ata hum kuch nahi bata sakte.. reports bhi abhi aye nahi hai..I will update you of something comes" sai doctor and left for her cabin

Adhi's phone rang and Kajri's name displayed, he recieved.. " Bhaiya didi ghar agayi?" she asked " kavya hospital me hai" he informed.. kajri got worried.."wo theek hai? aap bataiye kaunse hospital hum abhi atey hai" said kajri and discinnected after getting the location.. Adhi roamed to and fro in kavya' s room.. worried and confused.. "Kavya pregnant hai and mujhe nahi maloom, wo mujhe bina bole hospital bhi ayi thi" he mumbled.. while kajri entered the room.. "didi kaisi hai?" she asked..

"Kajri tumhe kavya ke baare me maloom tha?" asked Adhiraj.. as kajri nodded positively.. "kab se?" he asked " parso jab aap mumbai gaye the" she said.. "acha" said Adhi but his confusion was still there.. and he resumed his roaming to and fro.. "Bhaiya ek baat pooche?" she asked.. "haan bolo kajri" said Adhi with a worried face.. "aap dono ke beech sab theek hai?" she asked hesitatingly.. "Haan, kyu pooch rahi ho aise?" asked Adhi suspiciously.. "ww woo humne didi ko kayi baar rote hue dekha to.." struggled kajri to find words.. " rotey hue dekha?" asked Adhi with tears building up in his eyes.. "haan aj subah bhi didi terrace pe so rahi thi to.." lajri continued.. "terrace pe soyi thi?" asked Adhi in disbelief.. kajri went silent unable to discribe more what she felt seeing kavya.. while Adhi looked at unconcious kavya worriedly.. " tumhe kavya ne bataya ke wo pregnant hai?" asked Adhi in between his worries.."wo hum safai karte waqt pregnancy kit dekhlie the" she said.. "usne mana kiya tha batane?" he asked as Kajri didn't tell him even when she informed that kavya was not home.." unhe ne kasam li thi ke jab tak wo apko nahi batati me kisi se bhi na kahu" said kajri.. Adhi nodded and sat down on a chair trying to analyse the reason why she didnt speak to him about this.."tumne usko rote hue kab dekha?" asked Adhi... "bahut din se dekh rahe hai.. wo akele me rote hue.. per jaise hi hume dekhti hai ansu pochleti hai" revealed kajri..

Adhi gulped down and took deep breath.. curious that something was bothering kavya since long and he didnt even notice..making him realise that the had not spoken to each other properly since a long time.. and guilt build over him..he sat staring at kavya whole night and almost at 4 Am she started showing signs of gaing conciousness bringing life to him.. he called doctor and nurses..

after examining her doctor gave him permission to talk to kavya and left the room to enquire about reports.. kavya was still drowsy but could talk like a sleepy head.. Adhi hesitated because of guilt.. and slowly approached the chair near kavya, he softly called kavya with lots of guilt and shame in his voice while tear kept dropping from his eyes..

"Adhi, kitne din baad" said kavya making him realise her suffering in a single sentence.. Adhi couldnt speak further and tried to hold his cry back.. "meri me wo.. hum.." stammered Adhi in between his sobs.. kavya touched her belly and smiled... "baby theek hai na?" asked kavya.. Adhi was still not sure about their baby's health as doctor said she cant say anything without seeing the reports.."haan" he said hesitatingly.. while kavya kept silent not wanting to speak more.. Adhi approached his trembling hands to caress her head and unable to hold longer bursted out crying his guilt .. "I am so sorry kavya.. so sorry, i am sorry" he said crying.. but kavya didnt say anything but he could see tears rolling from her eyes..he kissed her forehead and rested his head on her shoulder..

Adhi greered doctor as she called him in her cabin..

"Adhiraj ji.. Kavya is not well matlab, she looks depressed.." informed her.. Adhi just nodded ok.. unable to make an eye contact out of guilt.. "I hope she gets proper care or else high chances of miscarriage is possible" said doctor..Adhi wiped his tear as it made way through his eyes.. "according to reports she is very weak and unki body pehle bhi shayad multiple surgeries and all se guzri hai.. islie ye pregnancy mushkil ho sakti hai.. and depression se bache per bura asar pad sakta hai" revealed doctor.. Adhi looked on trying to hold his sob.. "me prescription deti hoon please follow krie and pregnancy me mood swings bahut hoskte hai.. she needs lots of love and care" said her "aap samjh rahe hai na?" asked her again.. Adhi nodded positively and kept silent.. "abhi hum kavya ko discharhe kar rahe hai.. lekin regular checkups miss krna allowed nahi hai" said her sternly trying to make him understand the gravity of situation.. "I ww wont reppp peeat my mistake doctor" said Adhi stammering.. "okay please go ahead with discharge formalities then" said her and Adhi left collecting the prescription.. he went to the washroom and cried like a baby realising and recalling how many time kavya approached him called him but he didnt prioritise her, he didnt even searched the day she was found on terrace made him realise his grave mistake.. he realised since how long he didn't hear her voice as all these days he only informed her or excused him self saying he is busy, he is tired, going out, in meeting and moreover half of the time his PA was answering her calls for him..

Adhi spoke to central minister that he wants few days leave as kavya was severely ill and expecting their first child.. at first minister didnt agree but after listening to Adhi's change of voice realising his guilt, he agreed and requested to atleast help out as much as possible from home.. Adhi agreed..

Adhi came to Kavya saw her talking to kajri.. "discharge ho gyaa hain, kajri tum raat se yahin ho ghar jao.. me kavya ko lejata hoon" said Adhi.. looking everywhere else except kavya's eyes.."per didi ko akela nahi chodna hai" said kajri in a low voice.. " me rahunga.. tum jao" he said again.. kajri accepted and went back her home.. Adhi came and sat beside kavya still unable to look into her eyes.."Abhi theek lag raha hai?" asked Adhi..Kavya lift his head making his eyes meet her.."ankhein sooj gyi hai" she said "I am sorry" said Adhi.. "sorry nahi chahiye.. Mera Adhi chahiye" she said and this made Adhi burst out crying he touched his forehead with hers and promised that he wont repeat this again..

Adhi gently placed kavya on their bed and placed pillows for her support, "hum theek hai kuch nahi hua hai" said kavya but Adhi made sure she is warm and cozy, "Arey its 10 baba, tumko jana hoga na jao, me theek hoon" said Kavya but Adhi didnt say anything and sat beside her caressing her hair.."Adhi suno na please, tum zyada nahi socho, hum tumse naaraaz bhi nahi hai" said Kavya holding Adhi's hand and trying to bring him out of guilt but Adhi was still silent.. he placed his finger on her lips, trying to stop her talking.. "kavya humse bahut badi galti hgyi, hum pata nahi kaise tumko time nahi de paye, tumhara khayaal nahi rakh sakey, hum itna kaam me khogye ke tumse theek se baat bhi nahi ki.." admitted Adhi.."Adhi aisa nahi hai shayad humne hi over react krdia" said kavya.."react hi to nahi kiya Bansu yaar, hum phone uthaker lad leti humse, humare PA ko daant ke humse baat krleti, humare late ghar aney per hume warn krdeti, hum khana bahar khaker aye to humko tana hi maardeti lekin tumne to uff bhi nahi kiya, hum to door door tak ye bhi nahi soch paye ke humara bacha" said Adhi unable to complete his sentence caressing her belly "Hum to is ke baare me soch bhi nahi rahe the, matlab jaise log apna baby plan krte hai.. intezaar krte hai.. pehle khabar sunne ke lie nahi tumhare saath hona chahiye tha hume jab tumko pehli baar aisa khayaal bhi aya hoga, lekin hum nahi the Bansu islie to tum humse share bhi nahi karsaki" said Adhi while tear rolled from his eyes..kavya nodded no "Hume laga ke hum hi zyada soch rahe hai, islie shikayat nahi ki, hum yehi maan rahe the ki humse bhool hui hogi, hum kaam aur ghar me balance nahi kar paa rahe hoge, ya phr shayad hum ab tumhe...."kavya stopped talking even with the thought.."hum ab tumhe kya kavya?" asked Adhi caressing her cheek "jaise almost har couple ke beech se shadi ke baad pyaar udjata hai, hum sochne lage ke shayad humare sath bhi yehi horaha hai" said kavya lowering her eyes while tears made their way through her eyes "Nahi kavya hum tumse itna pyaar karte hai ke ye umar bhi kam padjaegi use jatane ke lie" admitted Adhi, "Kavya, hum ye netagiri me itna ulajh gaye ke humari pyari si patni ko jisko paney ke lie itne papad bele usko pamper nahi kar sake" said Adhi trying to make the mood lite with a laugh..kavya smile at his comment, "hum bahut proud feel karte hai tum ek ache neta ho, youth icon ho, i am very proud of you, hume samjhna chahiye ke desh ko zyada zarurat hai tumhari" said kavya assuring Adhi that he has not done anythinh wrong "Agar hum apne patni ka apni Bansu ka khayal nahi rakh sake to kya desh ka khayaal rakhenge, agar tumko kaam parivaar sab chahiye to hume bhi to kaaam parivaar dono ko balance krna chahiye na, akhir dono bhi to hamara hi hissa hai" accepted Adhi genuinely and hugged Kavya, "Acha batao humari kaunsi aisi baat thi jise tumne sab se zyada miss kiya"asked Adhi continuing the hug.. kavys smiled "Tum jo hume Bansu bulate ho, hume yu gale se lagate ho, hum chidhate ho, hume chu te ho pyaar karte ho hamara hath pakad te ho hum per narazgi aur pyaar dono ek sath jata tey ho, jab sojae to jaise hum apne khareeb kheechlete, humari nose se apni nose ko takrake cute si smile dete ho, hume khamoshi me taak te rehte ho aur bhi bahut kuch hai jise miss krte the" said kavya.. Adhi broke the hug and looked at kavya.. "itni choti choti batein hoti hai na jo tum humse expect krti ho lekin hum tumhe wo bhi nahi de payein.. lekin abhi se hum dobara galti nahi krenge.. hum sab cheez balance krenge" said Adhi and kissed her forehead, meanwhile staff brought breakfast trolley and arranged it for them.. Adhi fed kavya with his own hands.. "chalo ab sojao thodi der"said Adhi.. "tum bhi to raat bhar nhi soe na" said kavya, "haan chalo sojate hai.. said Adhi and they lied down cuddling each other fulfilling kavya's wish..drifting off to sleep..

Next day

Kavya took out her saree to get ready for office while Adhi looked at her with cute sa rootha hua face.. "Kya hua Adhi.. please me theek tum bhi office jao aur me bhi jaa rahi hoon" said Kavya.. "Yaar maine us bhudao ko kitna manaker chutti lee hai aur tumhe kaam pe jana hai" complained Adhi.. Kavya smiled at him and sat beside him.. "pehle Farz phr ghar" said kavya " Nahi, tumhara wala line bolo.. jitna important kaam utna important ghar bhi" said Adhi, "nahi Adhi hum dono ko sath me balance krna pdega na sirf tum ya sirf me nahi.. jab tum ghar pe nahi dekh sakoge to extra effort me daalungi aur jab me chook jau to tum dekhlena" said Kavya.. "nahi.. dekhlia mene.. balance sir tum krte chale gayi.. aur me.." said Adhi in a guilty tone.." Acha theeke ek kaam krte hai, jab bhi mujhe gussa aye ya aisa lage ke tum mujhe time nahi de rahe to me samne se boldungi" said Kavya "Nahi.. tum nahi bolugi, me jaanta hoon, ek do din ki chutti lelo na yaar mera bahut mann hai tunhare sath rehne ka" said Adhi.. kavya looked at him.. "theeke baat krke dekhti hoon office pe" she said and took her phone, "Idhar lao tum, hum baat krenge" said Adhi snatching the phone from her while kavya looked at him with a hopeless face..as he dialed surrender's number, "Hi surrender kaise ho, wo kavya ki tabyt theek nahi hai kal hi hospital se discharge lekr ayi hai.. and good news hai hum parents banne wale hai islie ek do din ki chutti dila de na yaar.. haan haan.. thankyou so much yaar love you" said Adhi and disconnected the call looking at Kavya with a bid bunny smile.. "kavya smiled back.. "to kya bole wo?"asked her.. "yehi ke 1 week ki poochega, tumhare boss uske baad jo bole inform krega" he said.. just then kavya's phone beeped.. "surrender ka msg" said Adhi excitedly.. "1 week ki chutti sanction hogyi.. kavya ko bolna next wednesday join krne ke lie.. take care" he read out msg loudly excitedly.. Kavya smiled at her Adhi, how much she was missing him she remembered.."Kya hua?" asked Adhi looking at kavya's change of expression.. "Adhi ab hum zyada time spend krenge to iske baad tumhari yaad bhi bahut aati hai" said kavya in a lower dissapointed tone.." hum phir se kabhi rumhe miss nahi krne denge promise" he said and kissed her cheek.. "acha abhi batao ye chuttiya kaise guzaarni hai? soker ghoomker ya kuch aur krke?" asked Adhi..

kavya made I dont know wala cute face looking at Adhi.. "chalo koi nahi aaj movie chalte hai, sharukh ki" he said excitedly.. Kavya nodded yes as she was fine with anything when Adhi is with her.."tickets book krta hoon, tum ready hojao" said Adhi.. kavya obeyed and went to get ready..she took out clothes for Adhi too and went to have shower..

Adhi and Kavya got ready and looked into mirror together as they were setting their hair teasing each other and enjoying their closeness..

Kajri bought a bowl of healthy soup seeing which kavya made a puppy face denying to have it.. Adhi tried to feed it but kavya felt nauseous adn refused, Adhi agreed and took her to pani puri stall as he knew she loved it, kavya enjoyed eating it and got lost in its taste while Adhi admired his cute wife, the moment she felt her mouth burning she looked here and there for water but Adhi forwarded her favourite choclate icecream towards her making her happy like a child.. then the went for the movie, Kavya enjoyed the movie while Adhi enjoyed watching kavya's happiness as she enjoyed..

on their way home, "Adhi, tumhe yaad hai hum ek baar us ghaati gaye the kitna sukoon tha wahan" she said recalling their visit after which they had their car broke down and stayed at the hotel.. Adhi understood the assignment and smiled.. "Haan yaad hai, lekin aaj nahi" he said as it was already late.. "abhi ghar jana hai aur tumko araam krna hai, koi uchal kood nahi" he said, "mujhe na bahut mood swings hora he.. kabhi bacho jaise jhoomne dil karta hai to kabhi rone" said Kavya looking out the window.. "roe tumhare dushman.. abhi sirf hasne ke din hai" said Adhi pulling her cheeks..

they reached home changed into their comfort clothes and laid down on their bed, with kavya in his embrace and him playing with her fingers.. "Hum aone bache ka naam kya rakhenge?" asked Kavya.. Adhi thought for a while and spoke " Ladka hua to Adhyay and ladki hui to Adhya" he said dreamily imaging him with a baby, "haan acha naam hai" agreed kavya and hugged adhi more in excitement "wo kitna chota hoga na jab ayega" he said imagining them both playing with their kid..

"haan chote chote hath choti si smile" said kavya imaging their baby, "hum na uske lie har cheez laenge usko kabhi takleef nahi hone denge" said Adhi.." aise to wo bigad jaega.. hum usko sab denge lekin usko sahi rasta dikha ker" said Kavya.. "Haan sahi hai, hum usko achi seekh denge ache school bhejenge" said Adhi "haan sports day pay pe parent teacher meeting pe uske school bhi jaenge" said kavya.. Adhi was so lost in imaging their baby that he couldnt stop smiling kavya noticed it and smiled at his excitement and kissed his cheek as he looked too cute surprising Adhi.."aisa kuch signal na do jiske baad humko control krna mushkil hojae" warned Adhi.. making kavya blush.. and they slept hugging each other dreaming about their small happy family..

Next day morning Kavya woke up and worried as Adhi was not around.. she came out of her room enquiring about him when she heard him calling.. "So Mrs Adhiraj Pradhan humne tumhare lie dress nikaala tha tayar nahi hui tum" he said.. "Hum tumhe dhoond rahe the" she said, Adhi smiled and picked her up " Hum yahin hai chalo ab ready hojao.." he said.. " lekin kyu?" asked her.." kitne sawaal pooch rahi ho.. chalo ready hojao na" he said droping her near bathroom handing over his selected dress kavya agreed and went inside.. kajri came informing that she had made all the arrangement as he asked for.. making Adhi smile and he gave a thumbs up to kajri praising her kavya came out ready and wondered what Adhi is actually upto.. she heard him calling from outside.. and rushed at the direction of voice finding a jeep with all the necessary food and comfort items with a tent arrangement surprising Kavya.. "Hum camping jaa rahe hai? askes kavya excitedly.. "Haan my dear love chalo get in" he said kavya sat in jeep happily and looked at Adhi with love.. "Haan pata hai hume hug krne ka mann kr raha hai humko" said Adhi while kavya blushes and Adhi turned towards her to fulfill her wish.. "Thankyou so much Adhi" she said overwhelmed... "Abhi bahut surprises baki hai Bansu" he said increasing her excitement.. "Chalien?" he asked for which kavya nodded positively and they started journey.. kavya looked at the playlist to play songs and realised Adhi had selected all her mood lifting songs.. and started enjoying them while singing along.. Adhi drove admiring his cute wife and finally they reached their destination not the previous one but it was a new place and more beautifull.. kavya was awstruck by the view and kept looking unable to describe it in words.. there were few tents around and even first aid centre fkr emegencies.. she hugged Adhi excitedly and laughed in his embrace like a baby.. "Acha laga?" he asked looking at her for which she gave a hopeless big smile conveying her over whelmed feeling

Adhi admired her and rubbed his nose with hers lovingly.. . "Chalo tent lagwate hai" he said and few men came towards the jeep taking out the tent and arranging it for them.. while they enjoyed the view.. Adhi had carried all her favourite snacks and even her supplements.. kavya was enjoying her pamper sessions and also admiring her husband more.. Adhi smiled knowing his wife's wild thoughts and calming her down with timely love supplements as well..

Their trip was of one day and one night letting kavya enjoy it till she feel enough..

A week passed with kavya and Adhi enjoying their rejuvenated love and happiness of would be parents..

next day kavya had to join back so Adhi decided to take her for checkup..

they sat in front of the doctor.. Adhi was nervous and couldnt stop shaking his leg..Kavya kept her hand on his leg asking him to calm down and assured that everything is fine..

"All good na doctor?" he asked nervously.. "Absolutely.!" said doctor making Adhi relieved.. "last time se abhi bahut acha hai" sge said with a bright smile.. Adhi smiled back and looked at Kavya.. "Abhi koi tension nahi hai na?" he asked.. "ye last 1 week jaise bhi khayaal rakha waise hi rakhoge to kuch nahi hoga" said Doctor smiling at him..Adhi nodded excitedly and happily agreed to always take care of his kavya and his baby.. doctor took him to scan room along with kavya and showed them their developing baby bringing tears to their eyes.. they couldnt help but cry out of happiness and nervousness seeing their babies size and realising how gentle he is inside..

Adhi kissed Kavya's forehead.. "Thankyou ye khushi dene ke lie" he said while a tear dropped down from his eye.. "Tum me aur humara baby" said kavya admiring her cute family..

they came back from the hospital and took rest as they had to resume their duties from tomorrow...

Adhi decided that daily he will himself drop and pick up kavya for her office so that they can spend more time together and strictly instructed his PA that when ever its Kavya's call no matter how important the meeting may be he should make him talk to her..

"Tv on karo" instructed minister, Adhi followed and switched it on.. the headline ran through the screen..informing about a terrorist attack in the area where kavya's office was making him worry but the next news made him go nuts which mentioned, that administrative office was also taken under their control making everyone hostage.. Adhi was scared to death, he looked at minister who tried to calm him down.. "Sir meri kavya, mera baby" he mumbled in panic.. " Haan Adhi aur bhi kayi log bhi hai.. bachaa lenge hum sab ko" assured minister.."chalo chalte hai wahan" said Minister and helped him as Adhi was anxious and worried.. everyone knew how possesive Adhi had become for his pregnant wife but as he had a dynamic way of working he was everyone's favourite which favoured him to make them accept all his demands..

Central minister along with Adhi reached the place and enquired about the development.. they were informed that there was no update from administrative office and approximately 10 civillians and 2 officers along with the pune and cleaning staff was hostage.. As Adhi knew that the two officers were none other but kavya and Surrender he sunk to the floor, as fear of losing kavya crept over him , he knew what outcome such terorrist attacks have, they are so heartless ruthless that they dont care who is in front and just kill people like robots..

Minister helped Adhi to get up and helped him sit on chair.. "Himmat rakho Adhi, hum sab ko tumhari zarurat hai" said minister boosting his courage..

the terorrist has connected transmitter to the speaker which would make their calls to be heard in the whole office helping their fellows also to follow the development who are giving them security from outside.. kavya and surrender were hand and mouth tied.. they were sitting among the other hostages.. at their gunpoint..

Kavya was hell worried about her baby..

"This is youth minister Adhiraj Pradhan I am your negotiator.." informed Adhi over the connected call with terrorist, which echoed in the whole office.. Kavya got relieved listening to his voice,

Terrorist: Humari demand bilkul seedhi hai.. hamara ek sathi tumhare jail me saza kaat raha hai, use reha krdo.. huk tumhare logo ko reha krdenge

Terrorist : Raaka chodoge ya nahi?

Adhi (gulping down) : Raaka ko chodne ke lie hume permission lena pdenga higher authority se, me jald se jald arrange krta hoon, lekin please mahilao aur bacho ko chod do

Terrorist : chal tera abhi dil itna atka hua hi hai to chod dunga.. bekasoor masoom to ye log hai

Adhi felt a bit relief as terrorist agreed..

Terrorist : chal chod raha hoon..ginliyo sab hai ya nahi

Adhi signalled office to go and check..

a group of civilians were released..

officer informed that all the hostaged civilians are out and safe..

Adhi enquired about kavya and surrender.. for which officer nodded negatively..

Adhi : ek mahila abhi bhi andar hai

Terrorist : haha hum home work bahut ache se krte hai.. apni patni ko nahi choda bol na youth minister

Adhi was taken a back, he knew it all the time that kavya was his wife and its going to be a hard time

Terrorist : Ye le chal baat krle apni misses se..

Adhi went silent..

he coulde hear the low distant background voices of them forcing kavya to speak..

Adhi turned and looked at Minister.. as he roamed to and fro behind him listening to the conversation..

"Sir please hamari kavya ko bacha lijie" said Adhi in a pleading tone holding his legs.."Adhi utho kya kar rahe ho, aisa nahi karo" said minister picking him up..

"Baat sirf tumhari patni ki nahi hai, sare desh ka future dau pe laga hua hai" said minister showing his disintrest in accepting terrorist demands..Adhi stood numb on his statement.. " To hum Raka ko reha nahi krne wale?" asked Adhi.. while minister looked at him with expressionless face

"ab agar terrorist wapas se poochega to hum kya kahein usey? ke wo un do afsaro ko maarde kyu ke hum RaaKa ko nahi chodene wale?" asked Adhi trying to control his emotions.. "Tum batao Adhi saara desh ya 3 zindagiyaa? usme se ek to abhi janam bhi nahi liya" said Minister..

Adhi stood still clenching his teeth, and stumbled and went back to his chair.. had a glance at the timer which showed 40 minutes left to fulfill terorrist's demand.. He tried to dial the connection and phone got answered by one of the terrorist..minister looked at Adhi for his action, "Hum Adhiraj Pradhan, tumhe ek challenge dete hai.. humari Kavya ko agar hath bhi lagaya ek kharoch bhi lagayi to hum tere itne tukde krenge ke tera har tukda meri kavya se maafi mangega" said Adhi in rage.. minister got scared listening to Adhi's warning and wiped his sweat.. "Tujhe Raaka chahiye is desh me tabahi machane lekin agar tune meri kavya ko chot pahunchayi to me tujhe aur tere Raaka ko ek jhatke me tabah krdunga" said Adhi and hung up the call.. Minister tried to talk to Adhi but he was gone the very next second.. on the other side.. terrorist looked at kavya with a frown.. "Ye tera pati sanki hai kya?" terrorist asked.. "Haan kuch der me samjh jaoge sanki hai ya junooni" she said with pride in her eyes.." bahut charbi jami hai tum miya biwi ko" said terrorist and slapped her making her fall.. "itna hi agar tumko naaz hai khud per to mere hath kholker hath lagana.. hume zabaan ke sath sath haath bhi chalane atey hai" said kavya.. "chaal hai tumlogo ki, pehle civilians ko chudwalia ab sirf kyu ke tum dono afsar bache hai to wada khilafi kar rahe ho" said another terrorist trying to hurt kavya physically with the blunt end of his gun but surrender kicked him with his leg before he could reach kavya and he fell directly into her feet.." sahi samjhe, hume acha nahi lagta agar humare badle is desh ka sauda hota to, islie hum khush hai.. aur hume darr bhi nahi hai, kyu ke aaj hum jeet gaye to teri haar ka jashan mnayenge aur agar haar gaye to shaheed hone ka" said kavya fiercely.. "Teri to said the first terrorist and held kavya with her hair.. "Chilla zor se chilla itna zor se ke tere pati ki rooh kaanp jaye" said Terrorist.." Majbbor hojae wo Raaka ko chodne ke lie itni takleef de usey" said the other terrorist.. Kavya smiled at them.. "Lagta hai abhi matlab samjh nahi aya tumko.. Government ne hum dono afsaro ki jaan ke badle desh ko chuna, lekin mere Adhi ne sirf mujhko chuna" said Kavya.."Matlab?" asked the first terrorist.." Matlab ye ke agar unko junoon chad jata hai to wo apne baap ko bhi nahi maanta tha, tum to galli ke gunde bhi nahi ho" said kavya mocking them.. " teri itni himmat hamari mazaak udaegi" said another terrorist and aimed the gun at her "Chala goli, me challenge deti hoon goli se pehle tera jabda toot jaega" said kavha with her fearless eyes.. the terrorist out of rage loaded his gun and properly aimed at him pressing the trigger but the next second recieved a hard blow on his jaw making him go directly on ground with out sense and gun fell on floor near surrender.. all the terrorist came running listening to their fellow's scream discovering Adhiraj Pradhan standing there with firey red eyes.. they aimed their gun at Adhi but before that Adhi started firing at them with his gun knocking them all down

he looked at kavya and surrende and helped them untie.. he hugged Kavya and asked if she is okay.. "kavya yaha se chali jao" said Adhi for which she nodded no.. "Ladenge to sath ,jeetenge bhi sath " said Kavya.. "Tumko aur bache ko khatra hai kavya" Adhi tried to convince her, "Adhi tum ho na sath kuch nahi hoga" said her and pulled Adhi sensing a bullet about to hit him and she was absolutely right their enetered so manh terrorist out if no where with guns with insane firing, Adhi Kavya and Surrender got under the table to keep themselves protected, "Maanlia ke Raaka ko nahi chod skte lekin army backup to de hi skte" said surrender.. "Nahi denge aj pehli baar minister ke ankho me meine Netaji wala chall dekha" said Adhi and loaded his gun, "Ab hum hi army aur hum hi police" said Adhi and came out firing back at them, surrender also picked up the gun which had fallen near him and started firing supporting Adhi.. Kavya looked around to find new ways to help them and rolled a bunch of marbles on floor making the terrorist fall on ground due to disbalance.. buying time for Adhi and surrender to reload their guns.. the firing restarted as they gained their balance back.. "Adhi hum teen hai aur wo 100, hum kaise niklenge yahan se? "asked surrender out of concern.. "Adhi kuch der aur aise hi chalta raha to wo hume phr se bandhi bnalenge, aur phir.." said kavya.. Adhi thought for a while to decide on what to be done.. " Adhi bachke" said kavya pulling him to save from the blow from one of the terrorist's fist.. Adhi fought back with him while the firing continued in the background.. unfortunately a bullet injured Adhi's right arm and he fell down on ground Kavya got worried and tried to reach Adhi but Adhi sternly said her to stay where she is.. Adhi with his one hand picked up the gun again but found it hard to operate with one hand and that too left, he knew they are stuck and these vultures will engulf them in no time just then as an angel of god came the police force with continuous firing on terrorist lead by singham, Adhi took a breath of relief, and kavya reached him giving her phyical support.. "Adhi hume jald se jald hospital pahunchna chahiye" said her looking at his wound.. "Adhi ko lejao Kavya" said Singham.. "officer dono ke sath jao.. cover them" said singham looking at surrender.. throwing a freshly loaded gun towards him.. the three of them somehow managed with the help of police to reach out.. and kavya rushed Adhi for first aid.. finally in sometime all the terrorists were captured and arrested..

After two days..

doctor made Adhi wear a splint to support his arm.. No movements" doctor said sternly for which Adhi made a face.. " we will follow" said kavya covering up.. just then central minister entered into the hospital room, "Adhi kaise ho?" he asked.. "Arey aap? acha hua aap hi aagaye.. me khud hi aney wala tha apna istefa lekr" said Adhi.. " beta tum meri position pe hotey to tum bhi desh hi chunte.." said minister justifying his action " haan chunte lekin desh me kavya bhi ati aur surrender bhi, apne to haar maanker unko marne ke lie chodbe ko kehdia tha" complained Adhi, "chalo gussa chodo.. ant bhala to sab bhala" said minister.. "Ant tab hoga jab aap isper sign krenge said Adhi handing over his letter with left hand.. " Adhi abhi gusse sme ho tum, kavya beta samjhao usey." said minister.. "Jab apko pata tha ke Adhi andar ayaa hai to apney army kyu nahi bheji? " asked kavya and minister couldnt help but gulper down and wiped his sweat.. "Kahin aisa to nahi aapne socha ke Raaka ko naa chod kar terrorist ko naa kehdene se aglibaar elections me apki seat dobara pukki hojaegi?" asked kavya in a angry tone.." kavya beta maante hai tum dono gussa ho.. jo kuch bhi ho politician hai hum itna to humko choot hai" said minister settling him on a chair "Acha?.! yehi agar aao live kehdenge to bhala hoga" said singham entering the room, " tum beeche me mat bolo, pehle to hamare mana krne ke baad bhi ghus gaye the apne police team lekr.. susspend hone ke kagaar pe ho" said minister.. "Abhi apko hamari aur hamare janta ki takat ka shayad andaaza nahi hai, satta palat denge Minister ji" said Adhi, "Acha aur wo kaise?" asked minister resting his back on chair.. "saboot hai hamare pass ke wo terrorist nahi apke hi bheje hue nakhli gunde the.. ye sab ek filmy scene bnaker naam kamana chahre the aap" said kavya.. minister got worried and tried to get up but singham held his shoulder and made him sit back.. " itni jaldi kya hai, aap humko suspend krwane ki arzi daalsakte ho to hum apko suspend krwane ke lie saboot bhi ekhatta nahi krenge?" asked singham.. "Humne apne pita ko nahi choda, unke corruption aur galat kaam ke lie.. aap to hamare bache aur biwi ko marne ke lie chodne walo me se ho" said Adhi and just then minister's PA entered with a letter and handed it over to him.. it read "suspended" and singham forwarded the handcuff towards him " waise hum apko giraftaar krne ke lie hi aye the" said singham and smirked at him..

few days later, kavya helped Adhi exercise his right hand..and smiled seeing his improvement.. Adhi smiled back.. "chalo tayyar hojao tumhe oath lene jana hai" said kavya proudly.. "haan jaenge phele tum kuch khalo" said Adhi holdingbher with his left hand.."humne khaliya.. ab chalo warna cabinet minister pehle din late hoga to desh me dhoom mach jaegi" said kavya with a light laugh making Adhi smiled.. "Kavya Adhi ready ho?" called malini from downstairs.. " haan maa aye" said kavya and helped Adhi in wearing his kurta and jacket over it.. she took her kajal and put a nazar ka teeka behind his ear making him roll his eyes.. she smiled at him and kissed his cheek "chalo" she said and helped him..

Malini, Anjali, Rajeev, Singham, Mayank and kavya sat in front row as Adhiraj took his oath as a new caninet minister.. and recalled in his speech how central minister used him as youth minister to attract votes and how he played with his fake terrorist and requested each and every politician to help india become a genuine and corruption free country.

Kavya and Adhi were enjoying their most awaited sunday evening where kavya was being her chirpy self was blabbering about her weekly experience and Adhi listened ro her admiring her adoring a smile on his face.. setting her disturbing hair strand behind her ear.. when kavya went silent suddenly and looked stunned.. making Adhi worry for her, "Kya hua kavya?" asked Adhi holding her.."tum theek hona?" he asked with fear and concern in his voice.. Kavya nodded positively and looked at him with a shocked face..while he looked on at her face trying to figure out the reason,

kavya held Adhi's hand and placed it on her belly while Adhi looked on confused when he felt something hitting his hand from inside her belly.. Adhi was astonished, he gulped down and looked at kavya with his open mouth unable to believe what he just experienced while tears started rolling down from his eyes.. "Hamara baby?" he asked for confirmation when he recieved another blow making his confusion clear.. Kavya looked at Adhi as she was overwhelmed and happy that Adhi was with her to experience their child's first kick.. Adhi kissed kavya's forehead with love and respect.. "Thankyou so much kavya for giving me this experience" he said and hugged her with happiness.. by now both of them were in tears, overwhelmed with happiness.. "Kavya, dard ho raha hai kya?" Adhi asked immediately breaking the hug.. kavya smiled at him.. "chalega itna to banta hai" she said and caressed Adhi's cheek..

"I love you so much" they said it together.. "And we love you too beta" said Adhi caressing kavya's belly..

doctor examined Kavya and changed her medicines.. while kavya and Adhi patiently waited for doctor to speak about the health update.. Doctor looked at them and smiled.."Kavya take good care of yourself, you need lots if rest" said doctor.. "Yes doctor I am taking" said kavya.. Adhi not satisfied with doctors expressions, "Kya hua hai doctor, sab theek hai na?" asked Adhi.. for which doctor just smiled and gave him the prescription.. bring her every 15 days from now on" said doctor and left from her cabin.. Adhi still not satisfied with the response.. became anxious but pretended to be okay, not to trouble kavya..

They left for home and as Kavya had a busy day at office that day went to freshen up when Adhi noticed a message from doctor asking him to call when kavya is not around.. Adhi dialled doctor's number hesitatingly and anxiously.. "Adhiraj listen to me carefully, Kavya is developing complications in her pregnancy.. she is stressed out jo bache ke lie theek nahi hai, please make her rest at home for next 4 months.." said doctor.. "complication?" asked Adhi as he felt his body went numb.. " Bache ki growth ruk chuki hai Adhi.. and hosakta hai agey chalke bache aur maa dono ki jaan ko khatra ho" said doctor making Adhi shock.."Take care Adhi" said doctor and disconnected the call..Adhi sat on bed for support as he felt dizzy and legs weak, he tried to control his anxiety and wiped off his tears.."kuch nahi hoga mere bache ko meri Bansu ko" he repeated to himself and gulped down a glass of water.. Kavya came out taking a shower and was humming a song in happiness arranging her clothes.. Adhi back hugged her resting his head on her shoulder, "kya hua Adhi? pareshaan ho?" asked kavya.. " adhi nodded negatively, "bas thode der aise hi rehne do" said Adhi being in the same position.. kavya sensed that Adhi is not alright but didnt question him believing that right now he needs her love and support as something is bothering him..

Next day.. Adhi was still in bed staring at roof not willing to get ready, Kavya was still asleep..

Adhi looked at kavya and caressed her hair, as the heaviness in his heart didnt let him relax whole night.. "Kya hua Adhi?" asked sleepy kavya and held his hand without even opening her eyes.. "Kavya, doctor ne tumko rest lene ke liye kaha hai" said Adhi.. kavya opened her one eye and looked at Adhi with her frowned eyebrows.." kya chal raha hai tumhare dimaag me? hum jab se checkup krwake aye hai?" asked kavya.. "Kavya hum raat bhar nahi so paye.. aur ab chup bhi nahi reh sakte" said Adhi.. "kya hua Adhi?" asked kavya getting up.. Adhi also sat up in bed and looked at her.. "Adhi batao na kyu pareshaan ho?" asked kavya caressing her cheek.. Adhi touched her belly and caressed it.. "me tum aur hamara baby? ye din ayega na?" asked him.."Kya bola doctor ne?" asked Kavya directly.. Adhi looked tensed and held her hands.." bola ke.. bache ki growth nahi hai... ye 3 mahine tumko ache se rest krna chahiye, nahi to tum dono ki jaan ko khatra hoskta hai" said Adhi.. Kavya closed her eyes for few seconds and lifted Adhi's chin.. "aur ye baat tum humse chupana chahrahe the?" asked Kavya.. " Kyu ke stress tumhare lie theek nahi hai" said Adhi "Kuch nahi hoga hamare bache ko" said kavya in a authorative tone.. Aaj chutti lelo aur araam karo, raat bhar nahi soe ho, tabiyat kharaab hojaegi" said kavya in a angry tone and got up from bed approaching her Almirah to take out her dress for the day.. Adhi came near her and tried to hold her but she snapped back to him.. "Please thodi der akela chod do hume" said Kavya moving a bit back "Kavya please stress nahi lo" said Adhi and tried to come near her.. but kavya kept moving backwards when her foot slipped and she was about to fall, Adhi pulled her and held her tight in his embrace his face showed how scared he was for the mishappening that could happened.. they both remained quite waiting for their heartbeats to settle, Adhi after a while called kavya, but she didnt respond.. he pulled her back to look at her face and got worried on seeing no response from her side she laid senseless in his arms.. "Kavya" he call loudly tapping her cheek but she was not answering him.. he got worried and picked her up rushing out..

"Doctor kavya behosh kyu hogayi thi?" asked Adhi worriedly.. " Maine baat tumko alag se isilie batayi thi Adhi kyu ke wo stress deal krne ki halath me nahi hai.. pata nahi ab is baat ka asar uske dimag per kis tarah hoga" said doctor.. Adhi couldn't keep it all in and wiped his tears.. " aap jo kahogi me krunga.. bas un dono ko bachalijie" he pleaded.. "Abhi kavya se mil aao..and haan koi stress wali baat nahin krna" she said.. Adhi nodded yes and went to kavya's room..

he saw her sitting and holding a pillow against her belly tightly, the fear which was clearly visible on her face was something Adhi had never seen.. "Kavya?" he called out and went near her.. "Kuch nahi hoga hamare bache ko" she mumbled repeatedly in low voice.. "Kavya meri baat suno" said Adhi.. trying to hold her.. "hum ne kaha na kuch nahi hoga humare bache ko" she repeated.. "Kavya please" said Adhi pulling her in his embrace and holding her tight as she fought back to get free.. "hum jaante hai kuch nahi hoga.. hum hone nahi denge" said Adhi caressing her hair... after a few seconds kavya gave in and cried like a baby holding Adhi.. "hamara bacha" she cried.. Adhi didnt let her free for few minutes and when he felt she was now calm.. kissed her head and started talking.. "strong baby ke lie strong mama chahiye, tum agar aise krogi to baby to darr jaega na?" asked Adhi.. "Humara baby theek hai na?" asked kavya.. "haan theek hai bas kamzor hai.. use apni strong wali mama ki zarurat hai, agar tum apne aap ko nahi sambhalogi to humara baby to darr jaega na" he said in a soft and calm voice.. "me strong bnungi apne baby ke lie" said kavya understanding what Adhi was saying..

"kuch din ke lie maternal leave lelo, ache se rest krogi stress se door rahogi to sab theek hojaega" said Adhi..kavya nodded positively and tightened her grip on Adhi for emotional support.. she was so scared even with the thought of losing her baby..

Kavya was on maternal leave spending her days in fear of losing her child.. as she was at home she started overthinking about things.. stressing her self out.. she was unable to make out how to handle herself.. She preferred not to share her insecurities and pain with Adhi as he was already burdened with his responsibilities and work... kavya's hormones danced on her mind making her insane... Kajri used to support her emotionally but she still needed Adhi, and his unavailablity used to play role of anxiety making her condition worse.. one day kajri decided its better to let Adhi know rather than letting kavya spoil her health as still 2 months had to go... Kavya started being silent, crying when alone, forcefully eat even if she dont want to, and cry as she was unable to cope with it..

as soon as kajri shared the incidents.. Adhi got worried, and started to think what he could do, he shared with Malini but was shocked to know that even malini was unable to handle her mood swings, and kavya herself distanced from everyone.. she was not talking to her parent not even to mayank... showing signs of depression.. Adhi felt he shouldnt have joined politics as it was a work of responsibility and he couldnt even ask for leave to take care of his wife, he was equally worried for kavya and baby, and even more worried knowing that this depression will only worsen things.. He called up informing that he wants to resign from his ministership as he wants to be with his wife.. for which the party head laughed, but as Adhi was adamant he asked him to take as much time as he wants to return but to be present on special or official occasions rest he would managed.. Adhi felt guilty as of cheating with his professional amd personal life but he was assured by the head that its okay, and emergencies are unavoidable and motivated that he can do what he wants..

Adhi tried speaking to kavya but she was like lost in her hard shell unable to open up or share anything with anyone.. one day he heard her crying in bathroom under shower he got worried and knocked vigorously.. "Kavya??? tum theek ho? please bahar aao" he pleaded.. kavya after sometimes came out in her saree with wet hair with a no expression face, Adhi hugged her tight and tried to explain her that everything is going fine she just needs to keep patience.. but the time didnt favour her she was not the same kavya anymore.. she just nodded silentlt and sat on the bed combing her hair, Adhi took a deep breath and sat beside her, he informed her about his leave abd that he will be with her 24x7 from now.. kavya gave a forced smile and rested her head on his shoulder "Kavya me tumhare sath hoon" said Adhi assuring her that she is not alone.. "Adhi hamare bache ko kuch nahi hoga na?" asked her "kuch nahi hoga hum milke khayaal rakhenge na" said Adhi boosting up her mood.. "Adhi mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai" said Kavya.. "kis baat ka darr?" asked Adhi pulling her more into his embrace "darr lagta hai ke bache ko kuch hogaya to? me kaise rahungi" said Kavya.. "acha sochogi to acha hi hoga, bura nahi socho Bansu" said Adhi.. "chalo aaj kahin bahar chalte hai dinner oe" said Adhi.. while kavya nodded Negatively.. " Nahi jana bahar mujhe.. me ghar pe hi rahungi" she said.. " Acha theek hai.. yahin rahenge"said Adhi making her calm..

next day morning..

Adhi pasted cute baby posters all over the room and decorated it with brighy colours making it look fresh and appealing.. kavya was still asleep.. Adhi smiled looking at her and kissed on her cheek waking her up.. "Goodmorning Bansu" said Adhi with a 1000volt smile and kavya smiled back to find him near her.. "so how is it?" asked him showing the room..kavya looked around and smiled happily, "woww Adhi its so cute" said her hugging him "Thankyou" she said.. Adhi smiled at her and tightened his hug.. "chalo nashta karte hai" he said and helped her get fresh..he made her hair and made her wear his favourite light jewellery putting a kaala teeka behind her ear making her blush at his antics.. he then took a selfie with their polaroid camera and pasted it on mirror..

Adhi helped kavya till dining table and made her eat breakfast with his own hands.. kavya loved her pampering session and was happy in his company.. malini who was observing from distance smiled with satisfaction and sent their lic to Anjali making Bansal also relaxed.. everyone knew that the one and only who coukd calm kavya was Adhi and no one else had any role in her mood swings..

It was a rainy day and Adhi got a call about an important meeting with board of ministers in which his presence was mandatory,

Adhi looked at Kavya for permission and kavya agreed happily assuring him that she will take care of her self like a good girl and also of the baby like a good mother and he can go and cone without any pressure or stress..Adhi felt happy seeing positive kavya and kissed her forehead bidding her good bye..

kavya looked from the window till Adhi vanished in his car from her sight.. Kajri knocked the door and gave her a bowl full of fruits asking her to finish as it was Adhi's order.. kavya made a face but eventually agreed to eat it...

it was afternoon when the meeting was about to finish and Adhi's phone started vibrating at fkrst Adhi ignored but with the fear that if its from kavya he hurriedly picked up the call only to hear from a panicked Kajri... "bhaiya ji.. didi ko labour pains horahe the hum log hospital ke liye nikle hai lekin barish ki wajah se traffic me car atak gayi hai, aur didi ko bahut dard horaha hai" said Kajri making Adhi panic too.. "Tum log kahan ho kajri?" asked him, " bhaiya hum location bhejrahe hai" said kajri disconnecting the call.. and the phone beeped with the message sharing their location it was still 20 min away fron hospital.. Adhi got worried and excused from the meeting.. he called the traffic police department and informed about the car details and requested them to take kavya to hospital as early as possible.. the traffic police started seaching for the car and finally found it.. they realised that the car is stuck in a long traffic row and cant be released from the line as its completely stuck.. Kavya was losing her concious due to pain, leaving everyone worried.. they helped to shift kavya from the car to the police van and hurried to the hospital but by the time she reached hospital she wasnt responding, Adhi reached hospital at the same time and got panic seeing her unresponsive.. doctors rushed her into the Operating room and informed that they are very late to the hospital and kavya's life is in danger
