Salman Khan is giving ex-best buddy Kamaal Khan the silent treatment. He also refuses to act in Kamaal's debut production, which is now stalled

Apparently, all is not well between Salman Khan and his one time best pal, Kamaal Khan. Salman, who was supposed to act in Kamaal's debut production, has opted out of the yet untitled film. Already, the film has been kept on hold after its mahurat, and a song recording.

Our source says, "Kamaal and Salman were best friends earlier. When Kamaal came to Bombay, he stayed at Salman's house for over a year-and-a-half. However, he seems to have fallen out with Salman now and both have not been on talking terms for quite a few months. The reason for their fallout is yet unclear."

Attempts to get in touch with Kamaal were unsuccessful. However, Kishore Dhingra, Kamaal's friend and partner for the film, confirms, "Yes, the film has come to a standstill. I don't know the real reason for the fallout between Salman and Kamaal, but Kamaal told us that Salman had stopped taking his calls and he was no longer interested in doing the film for reasons best known to him."

Although no one will admit it, the reason is apparently Kamaal's marriage to starlet Shilpi Sharma. Reportedly, Salman wasn't too happy with Kamaal's choice of bride.

Dhingra adds, "Incidentally, Kamaal had come to us with the film proposal and my partner, retired DGP T K Chowdhury and I agreed to produce the film. We also recorded a song with Sajid-Wajid. After that, Kamaal told me about his fallout with Salman. However, he never told us the reason. We will definitely go ahead with the film but Kamaal is no longer doing this project with us."
