They don't even kiss in real, it's only acting. I don't think either of them would have a problem with some acting, but doing it on itv is a problem. Still there are hardly any shows that show this kind of intimacy on screen. They even cut kiss scenes in movies before they're aired for tv audience. Doesn't align with our family systems

Every actor wants season 2 so bring it on with proper story.

So,true re.We may be angry, dissapointed about what they have been showing to grab masses but the fact is they could dish out many sensible and relatable plots/tracks .Katha's pregnancy is one another important thing.The amount of love they have for each other and seeing Viaan's love for kids...Katha suggesting going for surrogacy or some other medical ways.There can also be Aarav's insecurity with Viaan-Katha having another child. Office problems...Vanya-Ehsaan track is also another one which can have certain complications .They can bring in Anirudh.

Anirudh got wasted for real, he deserved a full fledged track.

I hope they writes story properly before planning season 2 if there is any plan. Story should be locked before shooting starts. Everyone is talking so maybe PH has it in mind, even assistant production manager said they might try.

I don't understand when they say it is not a love story. Tell me any serial where families are not involved in lead pair love story.

I know there are some boring phase in the serial like baby nurturing track but other than that it look normal to me.

The show is boring because lead pair are saint characters. Katha easily forgive Viaan, she believed Viaan during shamita track, Viaan immediately become too good to be digested, Katha never get affected by ONS, never taunt Viaan about that night, these all make story boring.

Also people often compare this with OG, so make it more difficult to please people.

It is more about definition and expectation from a "love story". If for majority love story is defined as a story with focus only on leads and rest of the characters are unimportant then, this becomes the definition even if I don't agree with it.

I agree this definition is apt for a movie or a time bounded series where too much influence of side characters can make the story feel unfocussed but, not in a daily show. Daily show has a lot of time and this medium should be utilized to explore other stories which would have been impossible to explore within a time constrained movie otherwise, what will be difference between daily show and a movie.

Honestly, writers took full advantage of daily soap as a medium to explore so many stories within one story. Leads are not the entire story but a part of story. Ehsan and Vaanya are one such story. Neerja-Katha, Viaan-Ehsan, Viaan-Teji, Kavita-Katha, Robin-Batman, etc..

Anyways, I watch this show with no expectation. As long as it has a story that makes sense from perspective of characters, I am all for it
